Hotel Dorjee Ling

One of the best hotels I have stayed in Bhutan! I was very happy with the location, room, and refreshing ambience. The hospitality provided by the staff was unforgettable, and I felt truly cared for during my stay. I especially want to thank Sonam, Namakee, Kinga, and the chef for their excellent service. Breakfast and dinner were delightful, and I felt completely at home. Home.

A cozy and traditional-style stay right in the heart of Paro. The exterior reflects classic Bhutanese architecture, and the interiors are clean, spacious, and thoughtfully done. The room was well-lit with natural light, had a comfortable bed, and basic amenities. The wooden flooring added a warm touch.
Staff was courteous and helpful, and the location is convenient for exploring Paro town. A peaceful, value-for-money option for travelers looking to experience local charm with comfort.

Hotel rooms were very clean! Location is very good. Surrounded by lots of handicrafts shops and hotels. Food was not good! Very oily and no spice and salt. Chef is not well versed with Indian cooking. Staff were quite hospitable.

I recently stayed at Dorjiling Hotel. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warm and welcoming receptionist Specially Mention Miss-Maya, who made the check-in process smooth and hassle-free. They were incredibly helpful, offering great recommendations for local attractions and always available to answer any questions with a smile.
The kitchen staff were equally impressive!, Specially mention Miss Karma. Every meal was a delight, with fresh ingredients and The breakfast buffet was particularly noteworthy, and the staff made sure everything was replenished and fresh, even during busy times. Their attention to detail and friendly service made every dining experience enjoyable.
As for the rooms, they were immaculate and beautifully maintained. Housekeeping did a fantastic job every day, ensuring everything was spotless.
Overall, I had an excellent stay.

We went to this hotel as a group of 4 and stayed for 3 nights. Amazing rooms with such great service. All the staff members are friendly and always ready for quick chat. The food is very good and I must especially mention the staff members in the kitchen area who always greeted us with a smile and were really helpful. The property is situated right at the heart of the city and the main market is located at a couple of minutes' walk. I would love to visit the property again. Highly recommended.

The hotel is amazing. Please ignore the comments which are 3 years older. The rooms are big and comfortable. I loved the wooden flooring in the room and the bathtub in the bathroom. The staff are really helpful. The food is good and they customize it for you if asked before hand. They were kind enough to provide a packed breakfast as we left for our next destination early in the morning at 6am even though their kitchen opens at 7am. Recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Paro.

The hotel is in a great location, and it is beautiful, comfortable, and clean. Everyone working at the hotel is incredible: so nice, attentive and lovely. The food was also delicious! I had a wonderful stay here and would highly recommend it.

Manager was accomodating with our late reservation on New Year even when the property was full house. The rooms are spacious, bigger than the normal size which allowed our baby to crawl around in winter as the floors were wooden. Food was good and the staff hospitable. The mattress is perfect for someone with backache (like me) and the toilet clean. Would definitely stay here for our every flight out nights as its closest to the airport.

I was re-booked to this hotel from another place that was too far outside downtown and I was very happy with the change. Not only was the location good but the room had a very warm feeling with old wood floors and had a nice view as well. The service was excellent and the food the best hotel food I've had in Bhutan. The hotel recently reopened after being refurbished so the old ratings are not reflective of the improvements.
