Cheap Hotels in San Ignacio

What an amazing place to stay as a backpacker! The staff (including the owner and his family) does so much to make your experience in Belize UnBelizebly! It’s social without being noisy.

Great hostel, the staff treated us like family. It has a social yet laidback vibe. Just a few minute walk from Cahal Pech ruins. I loved my stay!

The Mahogany Hall was an absolute gem for my family of 10. We booked this resort on Airbnb and had the whole thing to ourselves.

Every time I visit SanIgnacio I stay at Drift Inn. It feels like home and am treated as family and not just another number. The restaurant has changed management and is a 10/10.

Wonderful experience, things my group appreciated were;
1. Rooms were large, clean and had amazing AC.
2. Our room had a safe were we could put our passports during the day.

Amazing budget friendly place in San Ignacio! The room was spotless and comfortable. The hot shower was nice and unexpected.

Had an amazing stay at this hostel. I stayed here for a week, which was a few days longer than planned. The hostel offers many activities of things to do around the area and tours as well.

We had the best time at Bella‘s! The staff was amazing (especially Paydro 🫶🏻) and they had a puppy called Tiny!

Our new hidden gem to stay in my hometown. The location is perfect and the room was clean and spacious. For the price it's definitely a steal. Towels and soaps included.

The staff was more than helpful and very friendly. If you need a tour or a shuttle? They're more than happy to arrange it for you.

Rooms have AC and curtains over beds, the beds themselves aren’t the most comfortable but not the worst, large communal area both inside and outside. Water pressure in showers very good.

Basic hostel. Shout out to Javier, who was awesome! He was so diligent about keeping the hostel clean, including the bathrooms.

Airbnb / hostel type situation. Good location for walking to the market/downtown. Lovely restaurant across the street.
Parking is limited and on the point where two one-way streets meet with a school.

Stayed for two nights in a private room and the owner is very helpful with food and tour ideas. Rooms are basic, but aircon is good and room has a ceiling fan.

The price is good for what you take. Basic and clean room, in good location just some minutes to the bus station/restaurants.
I did not even used the A/C as the fans were more than enough.

Simple clean and comfortable room. Hot shower. Ceiling and standing fan. Window screens kept out mosquitos. Location was a 5 min walk outside town center.

We rented the upstairs for 2+ weeks. It's spacious, well equipped with kitchen supplies. Water is drinkable, clean house and has everything you need.

Super cute Inn. Convenient to town. Lucy is sweet and provides great customer service. We utilized Williams Shuttle service and our driver was great.

We had a great time at Cocopele Inn. The 2 bedroom space was clean and spacious, easily accomadating our 4 person group. The A/c was a nice break from the heat.

My wife interacted with Lisa before we arrived and she booked us a tour or two and was really helpful. We were greeted by her sister Annie who is lovely and laidback.

So this review it’s always related also how much you pay. For the price you get a really nice big room. Great mattress, amazing Wi-Fi and in the city center of San Ignacio.
