Roaring River Golf & Accommodations

Roaring River Golf Resort is a hidden gem set within a beautifully maintained golf course and a lush natural reserve, offering a perfect balance of luxury and nature. With only six private villas, the resort feels intimate and peaceful, and the river running just behind each villa creates a constant, soothing connection to the landscape.
The absolute highlight of my stay was waking up before sunrise and sitting on my back veranda with a cup of coffee, watching nature come alive. As the river gently flowed nearby, the first rays of sun streamed through the jungle canopy, catching the morning dew that danced like diamonds on delicate spider webs. Birds—especially the toucans—began their songs to welcome the new day, while small gibnuts quietly roamed the grounds, foraging in the early light. It was a magical, grounding experience that felt both rare and deeply personal.
The villas themselves are modern, thoughtfully designed, and equipped with plenty of high-end amenities, including room service that adds an extra layer of comfort. The on-site restaurant is truly five-star, with outstanding food that would impress even the most seasoned food lovers. The staff consistently go the extra mile, and it’s clear that every detail is carefully planned to ensure a smooth, relaxing vacation. While Roaring River is known as a golf resort, I found it to be an exceptional retreat for nature lovers and foodies alike.

Only golf I’ve found in Belize but the course was great, greens a bit rough, but considering how friendly the staff was and how reasonable the prices were, it was a great experience.

Terrible service. I've been writing to them for days asking for information and they never reply, they just leave me on read. Should improve that or provide the information on your social media Disappointing 👎

THE FOOD IS SO GOOD! I highly recommend going for breakfast 🙂‍↕️ such beautiful views and fun activities on-site. The staff is also very friendly.

Amazing food. Amazing people. You WILL NOT be dissapponted no matter what u order. Quesadilla is above and beyond, and cassava fries are a cheap appetizer (root vegetable) that u wont believe how much better than french fries! Ask for Fermin or Leticia, they’ll make sure ur experience is A++

We didn’t golf but our kids have and really enjoyed it. We came for dinner here with family that hasn’t been to Belize before. We sat outside and enjoyed a beautiful evening. One family member had the her first whole fish ever and said it was so good she wanted to go back to have it again. My Dad had the bread pudding for dessert and said it brought back memories since he hadn’t it since he was a kid. We enjoyed the beautiful, quiet evening dinner. Staff were great and food is always been good when we’ve gone.
The drive here is just beautiful too.

Nice out of the way spot to relax, unwind and reset, even if you’re not a golfer. Highly recommended.

We recently celebrated my daughter's birthday at Roaring River Golf Course, and it was an unforgettable experience! The staff and especially Mrs. Garnet who went above and beyond with the decorations, creating a festive and beautiful atmosphere. The food was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious, and the red velvet cake we ordered was soft, moist, and was perfect sweet treat.
After lunch, the birthday girl and her friends had a blast playing golf, which added an extra layer of fun to the celebration. Everything was well-organized, and the staff was friendly and attentive throughout the event. I highly recommend Roaring River Golf Course for any special occasion. We'll definitely be back!

Food is okay, but the atmosphere and service are great!

Very nice and helpful staff that gave some tips while on the course. Food also was really good, as were the facilities.

Today I came to Roaring River Restaurant, and quite frankly I have been here before a while, The service has always been wonderful. I was greeted with not the best service today I asked the waitress if she forgot our drinks. She then proceeded to argue with me and stated that other people ordered online prior to me that was not the question she could’ve simply said we are bringing it now instead of trying to create an argument that was extremely rude and not not the right customer service in my view. Having worked in the service industry for many years this was greatly disheartening and completely ruined my family breakfast.

Great place to play Golf in the Jungle. Had a wonderful experience at Roaring River. Behind the 9th hole is a beautiful view of Roaring River. Looking forward to playing again and one becoming a member.

It was my son’s birthday and we went to celebrate. Jenine attended to us and she very friendly and exceptionally efficient. The food was super delicious and well made. I ate deep-fried fish with rice and beans and it was super delicious. My family had a great time dining and celebrating. Keep it up!

Great place! My son and I finally made our way to the course today after moving to Belize in February 2021. Staff is great! Very impressed with level of service. Miriam was a great host, lunch was delicious and golf was fun! Looking forward to many more outings and hopefully an annual membership!
