Beautifully maintained golf course and suites surrounded by lush rainforest scenery. The staff were welcoming, fun, and incredibly helpful. They offered several activities each day on-site, along with booking options for nearby attractions.
The food was delicious with great breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, plus tasty drinks and smoothies.
The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, featuring a large shower, a very comfortable bed, and great pillows. It also included a mini fridge and safe.
Each room has its own private balcony overlooking the river, complete with a table, chairs, and a hammock.
We would absolutely stay here again.
Roaring River Golf Resort is a hidden gem set within a beautifully maintained golf course and a lush natural reserve, offering a perfect balance of luxury and nature. With only six private villas, the resort feels intimate and peaceful, and the river running just behind each villa creates a constant, soothing connection to the landscape.
The absolute highlight of my stay was waking up before sunrise and sitting on my back veranda with a cup of coffee, watching nature come alive. As the river gently flowed nearby, the first rays of sun streamed through the jungle canopy, catching the morning dew that danced like diamonds on delicate spider webs. Birds—especially the toucans—began their songs to welcome the new day, while small gibnuts quietly roamed the grounds, foraging in the early light. It was a magical, grounding experience that felt both rare and deeply personal.
The villas themselves are modern, thoughtfully designed, and equipped with plenty of high-end amenities, including room service that adds an extra layer of comfort. The on-site restaurant is truly five-star, with outstanding food that would impress even the most seasoned food lovers. The staff consistently go the extra mile, and it’s clear that every detail is carefully planned to ensure a smooth, relaxing vacation. While Roaring River is known as a golf resort, I found it to be an exceptional retreat for nature lovers and foodies alike.
