Heating problem, shower problem, no open bar like mention at the hotel. In short, very disappointed with the stay! I do not recommend this property.

Very good hotel with a beautiful ambience from the 19th century. The breakfast buffet is very large and it leaves nothing to be desired. But what makes the hotel so good are the staff there. The gentlemen in the breakfast area are mega friendly and very attentive. The reception staff will also help you in all matters and give you good tips for the city (sights, restaurant and shopping). Can fully recommend the hotel.

Lovely place, service is great and breakfast is fab! Only downside is that our room has a very steep staircase to a mezzanine floor for our bed, which is a bit hazardous late at night after a few Belgian beers! But overall, lovely hotel.

Very enjoyable stay at Martin's Relais. Staff is extremely charming and helpful. Room and bed were huge. Clean and comfortable. Lovely view on the canal from room windows. Couldn't ask for more for the little break I had with my mom. Definitely recommend. A+

Beautiful old hotel with great charm. Canal room is wonderful, can sit on the window ledge looking past a huge whale to an old church. Easy to get to all Bruges sites.

Perfect location not too close to town but only a few minutes walk to all the squares and shops. Brilliant breakfasts.

The Rooms are great. The Beds comfortable and also the Breakfast great. The Staff are Also very friendly. All in all, a very successful Stay in a beautiful Hotel, with friendly Staff and good Food.

Beautiful small hotel. We stayed in room 30. It’s the largest hotel room we’ve ever had in Europe. Actually much bigger than a standard American hotel room. The location is excellent as well. It’s just off the main square. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful and just overall excellent! We had a great stay. Highly recommend!

If you want plastic and chrome then this isn't for you. But if you want an authentic hotel with high ceilings and huge furniture, with masses of character and excellent service, then I recommend this place. Overlooks the canal too.

Very nice Hotel located in the historic center of Bruges, overlooking one of the remaining canals in the city. It is a 17th century building with original period decor. Highlight their breakfast which although it was not very extensive if with first class products. Very friendly staff. Recommended.

Great hotel for the price and super good location. The staff here are really friendly too. We even received a little gift left at out door on Easter Sunday while staying. The high ceilings and vintage style decor really make this place special.

The 22/02/2018 a very nice hotel, very warm with the charm of the old and view on the canal. We enjoyed our room "type parental suite" with terrace side garden very spacious and very quiet we enjoyed the Intercontinental breakfast in the room facing the canal. The location of the hotel is ideal! The staff are very nice and attentive. We recommend this property.

Very quaint hotel and friendly staff. Stayed only one night and just a few minutes walk from main square & restaurants. Breakfast a fast was fine and would consider staying here when on holiday. If your are lucky, hippy might find a space in the parking area just opposite c the hotel but it is not cheap if thou are plAnning to stay for more than one day… for longer stay the hotels own park house which is 5 mins away would work out cheaper.

Lovely Hotel in the centre of Bruges. Recommended.

Sweet and romantic. The best stay in Bruges for couples. You have to use stairs to access most rooms. Travellers with mobility issues enquire in advance.

Only downside. Acoustic insulation of the chassis, we hear a little too much traffic and street noises. If not to advise.

This hotel is situated along a canal and is in a central location to the tourist sights. The room was beautiful and very clean. The breakfast was exemplary. The staff were very helpful.

Hotel for a customer easy, offering a luxurious suite (2 bedrooms big enough. A nicely appointed living room, a bathroom, spacious). A breakfast excellent and suitable for all with a variety of important food.

Very pretty, nice damage up little space in the rooms for storage, no bathrobe in the bathroom, you have a parking, but it is paid for. C is like a 4 star. Can do better.

Everything is almost perfect, welcome, very pro, former (ancient), breakfast divine! But dining room a little small, and bedding really too soft. Very close to city centre!

Positive: very friendly and hifsbereites staff and a wonderful location if one is traveling on foot and the Hotel is cost-effective. The Laundry and the bathroom were very clean. The Hotel is very quiet, especially if the room is against the garden. Negative: unfortunately, the water pressure in the shower very low. The Necessities are poor and the maintenance and care, incl. Cleaning, is rather unkind. I think the 4 star is very generous.

Nice place. Staff pleasant. Public rooms beautifully decorated, private rooms are nice and comfortable. Just odd that I had to take elevator up one flight only to walk across and take stairs down a flight. Wasn't bad but some one older and/or with lots of luggage might have a problem with rooms 101-102-103. Room 102 does have access to the garden from inside the room.

The hotel theme is amazing, the decoration and everything is so original. The breakfast was really good, different cheeses, meats, salmon, etc. The bedrooms were very tidy and clean, the bathroom as well. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is thinking of staying in Bruges.
