A beautiful quaint hotel. Very welcoming reception and extremely helpful. Stairs a little scary if you don't like heights but once you walked up and down you get used to them.
definitely will be returning to this beautiful hotel to spend more time in this absolutely beautiful little town called Brugge…

Very nice hotel in the heart of the city centre and the main square where the belfry and various restaurants are located.
The price remains expensive but very decent as spacious room, clean and with a large bathroom.

Smashing little hotel, rooms are cool. Best night sleep in a hotel in a very long time! Breakfast was not a huge selection but delicious and enjoyable. Lovely friendly staff.

Nice Premises, good Location friendly People, only at Breakfast lacks fresh Bread, the local is baked or preserved and the Coffee is sometimes long on the Hot Plate.

Great hotel and stunning inside. We were woken up by 8 very drunk people at 2am but the hotel owner came and gave them hell. They shut up immediately. She was brilliant and really nice. In fact all the staff were really really friendly. The hotel is located dead centre of the town and is only a 2 minute walk from the main square. I highly recommend staying here.

Hotel Boterhuis is in a great location, only a two minute walk from the market square and surrounded by popular restaurants. The staff have been attended and friendly during my stay. The room are a decent size and the bed is huge and very comfortable. Everything appears clean and tidy. My only critic would be that the reception building does have a slight odour.

A place to see. But since the buildings go back to the Middle Ages, some constraints of this period must be accepted. The staff are helpful and charming. Lunch in the cellars not to be missed.

Location excellent, has private garage parking about 100 yards away. Rooms comfortable but no air con in ours — and it was a hot end of August. Quiet area, but within a few minutes walk you are at the main square. Only gripe is when checking out, I got the rooms muddled up with the numbers in each room (we had 5 rooms, some were single occupancy) and felt the receptionist was a little to obtuse and curt for politeness just because I made a mistake, especially when I rounded up the garage bill by about 20 euros to make the division easier between us all. This was also the second time I had stayed there in 2017, but the service (for me personally) left a bitter taste, especially as we were a large group and spending a considerable amount of money.

Totally loved this place. They couldn't be more helpful. Breakfast was amazing! Only 2 mins to the local market where it all happens! Would come back here anytime! Room 21 and room 22.

One of the great old and established cheese and charcuterie places in Bruges. Wonderful selection of chees and cold meats. Try the tangy Oude Brugse kaas, so much better than Gouda and also the new softer and smoother Ensor cheese from Oostende. Wonderful taste memories.

Very well located, exccelente breakfast and very good room. If you are traveling with large suitcases is an issue, there is no elevator.

Very steep and windy front stairs but there is a much safer back set of stairs. Very friendly staff. Our room faced the street and there was a lot of street noise from cars. The motel was close to city center but not much was happening on the street where it was located.

The Hotel is suitable for you, good for cities Tourer. It is a medieval house in which the Hotel is housed. Centrally located. Garage against payment available. Very friendly and helpful. The Breakfast is okay. All in all, good value for money.

We stayed here for a weekend with my 2 kids, we got the family room which was great, very spacious! The breakfasts were really nice as well. Walking distance to many great sites and restaurants! My 10 year old daughter left her purse at a store in Bugge and the staff at this hotel were amazing! They helped me track her purse down and they shipped it back to me! We would definitely stay here again! *** side note — there is no elevator and the stairs can be windy and steep. This wasn't a problem for us but if someone had limited mobility I would recommend requesting a ground floor room.

Shop of traditional products since 1933. Here you will find the best cured meats, and cheeses in belgium. Do not forget to take also a pot of honey, and other old mustard.

Unfriendly owner! STAY AWAY. No patience with customers, when there occurs a misunderstanding they show their true character.

Great, friendly little hotel in the centre of old Bruges. Had the family room which was comfortable and modern for €150 including breakfast plus tourist tax. Belfort a wander away as well as lots of extra little interesting squares. Free Wi fi.

Excellent location in the middle of the historical centre of Bruges. Friendly and helpful staff that makes eggs to order in the morning. Excellent room for a family (room #8). Good, free Wi-Fi. Minor annoyances: Empty reception on arrival, did not respond to bell, had to call by phone (I consider this no big deal). Breakfast somewhat uninspiring, but not worse than most other hotels in that category.

We made a reservation with the hotel. To be on the safe side we did it on the phone, talking to the lady owner. Beds in this hotel are advertised as wide enough to be characterised as doubles, so I asked if a double room would mean 2 double-sized beds, and the answer was affirmative. We arrived at sunset — not a good time to search for another hotel — and we were welcomed with a scream from the owners daughter, that a double room is not enough for a family of three (child of 6, who often sleeps with mother). It was extremely unpleasant situation, since there was the woman I made a reservation with, who confirmed my story, but now reneged on her own promises. We had to leave, since the price for the upgrade was quite unreasonable, and their attitude UNBELIEVABLY RUDE. In the name of the solidarity among travellers, I urge you to ignore this hotel, especially if you are parents.
