Room that is not yet renovated so a few little bits of wear, but clean

The hotel is clean and functional, but I'd give this one at least four stars based on the very high quality of the breakfasts. Superb.

Hotel located in a great location between the central station and the grand place. Comfortable room with double bed, armchair, desk and a nice fridge. Toilet separated from the rest of the bathroom. I didn't try breakfast, the staff is efficient.

Great location. Breakfast is presented well and is a fair price. Housekeepers do an excellent job in keeping our room orderly. Everyone at the front desk is very polite. Room has been maintained in great condition. Overall, I am very impressed.

Breakfast is a bit expensive if you don't want to have a simple coffee and croissant. Rooms are cozy and quiet. Unfortunately my room had a window opened to the back of another building, so it was not the best sight. Overall it was a nice stay.

We got no greetings from the 3 receptionists when we arrived. Ana, the receptionist wasn't very friendly. She was cold as ice and almost robotic. She booked us in the worse room of the hotel. With hanging curtains, mould in the shower and finger prints on doors that hasn't been cleaned for a while. We immediately asked to change room. We got given a better room but still not up to standard of a 4 star hotel. Two days into this room we had a drain blockage that made the toilets overflow with poo. We immediately had to pack up and move room again. We got given a superior room that wasn't up to scratch at all. Again mould in the shower, the sink in the bathroom was blocked so you couldn't use too much water to brush your teeth. Stains on the floor. Looked like there was a previous leak from the floor above. I would have asked for a refund if I had paid a full price for this superior room. The building is old and has lots of issues. I stopped myself from giving a zero star rating because of the breakfast which was nice. Everything else wasn't great. I regretted cancelling the hotel I had booked for months to choose this one. We have stayed at NH Hotels in Lisbon and Valencia before and this is the worst hotel by far. I'm still wondering how can this be a 4 star hotel? Overall not a great experience.

Big worries with parking at €22 a day.
The first night of our stay, a thunderstorm broke out which caused leaks and seepage from the roof of the garage. A liquid corossif to damage the paint of our new car. After complaint, we await the reaction of the management. We rely on the professionalism of the managers and will not fail to publish comments that I hope positive.

Well located very near cathedral and 5 mins from Grand Place. Rooms clean and adequate. Staff very friendly. Not able to comment on food as stayed on a room only basis.

Very good location The room was very small for two people, it was very dirty the carpet, which they washed when we warned and the only window, faced an inner courtyard, dirty and with pigeons. There was no heating in the bathroom. Bad experience despite NH we had never been disappointed.

Clean room, great location, friendly and welcoming staff, amazing breakfast and perfectly suitable for vegans. Lots of alpro products, gluten free bread, they mention what contains dairy and what not. Also lots of fresh fruits and veggies.

Loss of cash in hotel room during my stay in NH Brussels Grand Place Arenberg due to security lapses — I had deposited my cash in the room safe box during our check in on the first day. When I was about to check-out on the last day, I was shocked that all the cash in the deposit box was gone. According to the hotel director, only the cleaning lady had accessed to my room which I found it weird that she actually left the balcony door opened after her cleanup. My room was on the second floor (Room No 224) and it would be extremely easy for anyone to access my room from the balcony. Only after 3 months, their "appointed" insurance company updated us that the insurance company will not compensate any money as it does not cover disappearance. And until now, the hotel has not given me any update on why my balcony door was left opened after the room service and simply shirk responsibility. Please avoid this hotel at all costs.

Hotel with a small room. The room was fine but the chair in the room had a dried wet spot on it. That gave a yuck type of feeling. The bathroom was also very small. They had parking but you had to go inside to tell them to open the garage because the intercom was not functioning. Which was an inconvenience. The angle to get from the small street into the even smaller garage was difficult. If you have a weaker engine (its very vertical), trouble making pin turns in a claustrofobic garage with no space to turn or space for Error I would not recommend to park your car there. The chance you scratch your car is high. Their garage is extemely small and tight. The plus points are that the hotel is next to the big market so perfect location and they serve quite a nice breakfast. People at the desk were also friendly.

Wanted a lot of personal information. The room was bitter cold and it was not obvious that one had to turn on a separate space heater that did not hear the entire room in the 4 days I have stayed. The Wi-Fi is slow and the paid Wi-Fi isn't any better. You are better of using LTE.

Hotel very close to the center comfortable with staff very friendly full breakfast and very good, two blocks from the central station, a street of the cathedral in general almost everything is left walking, the only thing that was not to my liking is the bathroom for my taste and something worn and square The furniture doesn't match the room.

Small rooms. But very central. And for Belgium's capital, the prices are fine.

Hotel looks nice from inside, rooms look clean, beds are comfortable, nespresso in room is nice, bathroom is small and could be cleaner on walls, room wasnt ready after check in, the lady for cleaning didnt start the room… shower in the evening was cold, in the morning was cold for a few minutes, the shower empties very slowly almost going over the tube, the view was on the roof and aircons, the noise of the aircon all night wasnt really nice (room 120 on 1st floor, I guess other floors are better), no room in bathroom for toiletry bag, shower was blocked on massage mode and button broken : had to force to replace it… breakfast was nice and coffee was good, fruits were tasteless and hard. Overall expérience was far from a 4 stars hôtel.

Nice apartment with king size bed, super modern bathroom, including breakfast, next time I'm in Brussels I will stay there again. In the evening you can still go through the old Town and the service in the hotel is exemplary.
To explore the city, unfortunately not enough 4 days, therefore a renewed visit is a compulsion.

What I liked: Participating in a training, the reception was extremely friendly and friendly. The training room is spacious for 12 participants, with the break area nearby.
Small snacks in the morning and afternoon, lunch soup, sandwiches, accompaniment of raw vegetables and hot dishes of quality.

Great service, good pillows and decent bed. The bathrooms have an odd see through component of the bathroom… You will be watching whoever you are with on the toilet when you are in bed. Smallest elevators I've ever seen. The stay was overall nice.

Great service, friendly staff, excellent location, close to the cathedral and the Grand Plaza. The breakfast buffet was a delight.

First visit since the hotel was the Arenberg. Very pleasant staff in a well located hotel — equidistant between Brussels Central station and the Grande Place. Room was small (hence four stars) but well appointed and for the price, it represents really good value. Would stay again without hesitation.

In the center of the city, perfectly located. He doesn't have a restaurant. The bathroom in my room a bit old, needs to be renovated.

If you are lucky enough to have a newly refurbished room, you will be very comfortable. Breakfast is very abundant and correct. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Clean rooms, great breakfasts, polite and professional staff. Waifai in the rooms and lobby. The rooms have a mini bar, a safe, a great bed and a lovely shower with a shower set. Curtains allow you to completely isolate the room from sunlight. The windows provide silence. The hotel's condition is 4 out of 5, for which it lowered the rating by 1 star.

Excellent lodgings, industrial roof view, great amenities, super friendly reception employees. Just a blink away from historic centre. Definitely recommended.

The rooms are very sloppy, without proper cleaning and the air conditioning did not serve well as it is leaking.

Walls and doors are so thin here that you think the cleaners are at your door but they were a few doors down. Cleaning staff were also very noisy when cleaning! They also reuse your cups and mugs here people! So be sure you wash them before using them!

The hotel is nice, well located and quiet. By contrast, we are fallen on a bed of smashed, we felt that it was a mattress spring. Our friends have not had this problem, their clothes were good, we will say that we have had no luck. The breakfast is very complete, there's something for all tastes, sweet, savory, and even vegan. Flat also on the mini bar are so overpriced it's absurd. Almost 5 euro small packet of crisps 40 g, 3, 50 euro 33 cl of water…

Hotel was clean and front desk staff was helpful. Housekeeping entered my room even though the "do not disturb" sign was displayed.

Central location and the room was big enough. However Wi-Fi was poor in the room and the breakfast was served cold to the room, coffee with no milk. Etc. By the time they gave us the milk and ketchup the food was cold.

Hotel was very clean and nice, but would not recommend staying there. AC did not work (weather was 85+ degrees), but the more frustrating part is when various guests asked the staff about it, they told everyone a different lie about why it wasn't working. Also had guests in my group get several hundred dollars stolen out of their safe. You can find a much better 4 star hotel in Brussels.

The hotel announces a free parking… than Nenni. 10 seats — Non-reservable — for 155 rooms! €22 the day, in the end we are better in the public parking lot!
Checking: "I do not speak French"… What? If I am not mistaken French is an official language in Belgium, and one is in a high-end hotel! Anyway…
Booking not found, but we won't know until later. And we are offered a room cubby! Ridiculously small, it has neither charm nor modernity and the shower room makes everything break 3m2 toilet included! of what to be extremely disappointed. Even at Ibis we find much better today.
Trading Company we are offered a room a little more worthy of the announcements made by the hotelier on its site… Without charm However, the room has a basic white bathroom with a "hospital" style with a tiny bathtub. Is!
The nights were difficult. The bedding is filthy. The mattresses, hard to wish, are not of any rest. A pity for a weekend supposed to be restful precisely…
Breakfast is plentiful. The choice is very important. But, there's a but. You should expect to pay 22 €/person! More expensive than a flat meal dessert beer in a good little local brewery. The note is extremely salty when one is only able to swallow a tea and a mini pastries! Especially since the rate is not advertised.
In short, the worst disappointment we have ever known…

I love the location of this hotel, close to everything: not far from the Grand Place, next to the cathedral, near the Gare de Midi…

Great location, centrally located for walking to the main areas of interest. Close to Central station, useful for those who arrive by plane or want to move by train. Friendly and helpful staff. Downsides: Breakfast prices preposterous (21 Euro per person/night), not soundproof (hear the noises of the floor above), rooms to be modernized.

Some of the descriptions fit, unfortunately, in my room, such as the almost non-existent water pressure in the shower. Room v. D. Size and equipment were good, but unfortunately, some things were already very worn out such as. Faucets in the bathrooms or the doors. Sirens can and stop from sleeping. Location of the hotel is very interior, close to town, Restaurants and shops can be reached under 5 minutes by foot. Breakfast is very good and offers a more than adequate selection, however, 20 Euro is not attached to it.

Also I have read the tripadvisor reviews and I have seen that it is a problem that have for years and still not have bothered to fix it.
After reading all tripadvisor reviews I´ve realized is a problem they have since more than a year ago and they didn´t solved it.
I went to complain to the front desk (since the phone mysteriously communicated all the time) and the receptionist just tell me which already knew the problem and was not the first to complain…

The hotel has nice and somewhat modern rooms, the staff is friendly and the Wi-Fi is free. Only the breakfast is more than just slightly overpriced with 20€ for a breakfast buffet where the fried eggs are cold and the cheese selection is limited Gouda and Gouda. (2 stars for the breakfast)

A big plus is the location, you're right in the centre of the city within walking distance (a minute or 2) The room is pretty nice, with a modern look to it. The breakfast; there's a lot to choose from and tastes pretty great. The services are lacking though, and the room is a bit noisy.

An excellent central hotel with friendly and helpful staff. We've been coming here since 2001 when it was a Golden Tulip hotel. The NH brand has worked well and the present team in all departments make sure guests are well looked after. Delicious breakfast buffet, too, and the brand new idea of food and refreshments in the lobby is perfect for arrivals at unusual times or after a day out on business or sightseeing. Very well done — what a fantastic holiday we had a couple of weeks ago! Oh, and thanks to general manager Fabian, we now understand how the Brussels Metro works!

The hotel is located a 3-minute walk from Grand place, the cleanliness is good, the rooms modern and well appointed.
While the exterior could use a face lift with the heating system represented by an electric heater attached below the window.
The breakfast buffet is extensive and varied.
I took advantage of a promotion that made it very interesting, rates normally applied I assume are more expensive.
