Despite the COVID restrictions we’ve had a lovely time. The staff are friendly and helpful and the service excellent. The rooms are spacious and there are good facilities.

We have only been here for 3 nights but the place lives up to all the reviews we read. The staff are fantastic, the food is a la carte and the facilities are great. Such a laid back, relaxing spot x.

Sugar Cane Club Hotel & Spa was an absolute dream from start to finish!
My husband and I were warmly greeted by hotel staff with fresh cookies and warm towels after a long travel day, and upgraded to the Penthouse Suite for our honeymoon back in September/October.
The pool and beach was nice and clean, every meal delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable! (Just to name a few Roy, Xavier, Roberto, Neil, and April)
Highly recommend and will definitely be returning to Barbados!

I just stayed at the hotel with my beautiful wife as we celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary this month. Everything was great and we will surely visit again in the future. Highly recommend hotel for locals and visitors.

This is the most peaceful, serene and beautiful hotel which is staffed by the loveliest, kindest and most genuine people. If you want sheer heaven and pure relaxation this is the place to go. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Thank you for making the last 10 days so incredible.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff, meals great. Garden is like Kew Gardens. Shuttle to beach every morning for good snorkelling, beach quiet most days. I would like to thank all the staff for making it one of the best holidays we have had in Barbados.

All I can say is wow! The hotel is so clean, the grounds gorgeous and the staff made you feel like family. Food was the best we’ve had in the Caribbean.

Everything about Sugar Cane Hotel and Spa is perfect. Suites are lovely. Food is perfect. Service great, barman Neil, Zavier and Roy are brilliant. Grounds perfect by Mr Rodney and his crew. Ryan is always friendly. Front of house staff perfect. We love it.

The whole experience is very so calming and stress free.

Where do I start. As soon as you walk into the Sugar Cane club you are met with a warm greeting from the staff. The hotel is fantastic. Staff are awesome, can't do enough for you, very warm and friendly. Keep up the good work.

Plan a trip for my husband 50th birthday at this place was very disappointed, nothing like the brochure rooms are very small. All the room have full size bed in them they have outside furniture in the living room area the bathroom shower water sit in the shower floor not draining out fast. Just a total Disappointment! Left the 2nd Day And went to the Sandals Barbados for the remaining of my trip. Don’t booked stay away I was supposed to have ocean view all I saw was trees the ocean was no where in site so again stay away from this dump I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone period!

This is a great place to relax on your vacation. It is close to the beach and at the same time it is surrounded by trees and local wildlife.

My husband and I went on holiday two weeks ago and found this to be one of the best holidays we've been on. The hotel couldn't do enough for you, the grounds were clean and well kept. There was so much to do, we couldn't fit everything in. Food was good, there are only two restaurants to choose from, but it's a small and friendly hotel after all. The one thing I was impressed with was there were plenty of sun-beds and you could always find a couple to sit on any time during the day, there was no rush to 'claim yours' which really drives me mad. The rooms were 'suits' and better than I expected, large and spacious, and we didn't have one of the most expensive ones. I noticed how well build and solid the buildings were with respect that you didn't hear people upstairs clattering around. All in all we had a fabulous time and have already decided to go back for our Golden Anniversary in 2020. Thank you Sugar Cane.

We come every year and just love this beautiful property where the staff do everything to make us feel welcome and pampered. Can't recommend it enough.

I have walked around the grounds of the hotel, visited the restaurant for an arranged group meal and used the services of the Spa. Generally the staff seem friendly and the hotel surroundings are quiet and relaxing. There is no bus service that will take you along the main road of the hotel. If you walk up the hill from Speightstown (on highway 1) you will pass Almond Beach (soon to become a Sandals resort), Port St. Charles and Port Ferdinand. The resort can be reached as well by travelling on Highyway 2A and leaving the highway at Mile and a Quarter. You can walk into Speightstown — it may take 30 — 40 minutes.

It"s an amazing 5 star small hotel on the north of Barbados in St. Peter … friendly staff quiet atmosphere not directly on the beach side but about 5mins walk away or our shuttle will take you there. Sugar Cane Club Hotel and Spa.

I cannot even put into words how amazing this place is. It's tranquil. It's quiet. It's relaxed. If you want lively don't bother. If you want amazing food and fantastic wine in glorious surroundings with lovely, courteous staff this is THE place…

Sugar Cane Club Hotel & Spa, a quaint location to visit if you wish to find attractiveness, calmness, staff who are caring, charming, helpful and informal, diverse and tasty meals, skillfully designed pathways, perfectly clean, well kept gardens where people can be seen going to and fro. At night the plethora of lights and the vast sea of greenery enhanced the beauty of this iconic ensemble.

I only had dinner here 1 night. My server was pleasant but there was a server who was disrespectful to other guest (unknown to them of course)

A quite hideaway in the north of the island but still only minutes away from Speightstown and 30 minutes from Bridgetown. An untouched gem in the island with manicured grounds and capable staff.

Superb hotel and smiling, friendly staff only too pleased to help and offer advice. This is a quiet hotel, no children allowed, surrounded by lush forest. It is situated at the Northern end of the island, but within easy reach of the western beaches and Highway One. The food here is absolutely superb and prepared to a high standard. This is one hotel I hope I can return to.

Great place to unwind. The staff were friendly and helpful — the accommodation was to a high standard — the buffet by the pool was very relaxing and the food was yummy! I would go again and also recommend to friends and family.

Great prices, Friendly staff, lovely rooms, awesome selection of foods and many more for anyone to enjoy with family. My wife and I honeymoon there in 2016 and we did our 1st Anniversary stay also there. We really love it there and would encourage anyone to try it there also. Money well spent. Staff, rooms, everything was amazing. Went there 3 times, experience was always the same. Superb. I always recommend this place to my friends.

Went here a couple of months ago on a weeks holiday with my family. The staff are very friendly and Roy the bartender is a pleasure to talk to. Also the kitchen staff are all willing to have conversations with you about you day and see how you are. We went on the gully walk and the guide is fun and has some stories to tell. The rooms are very nice and the bedroom is air conditioned. Very relaxing, only downside, although a petty one, you have to wear trousers on the fancy nights. Would go there again for a definite.

Great hotel to relax at, food is very good, hotel staff are extremely friendly and to their utmost to make you comfortable and relaxed. The beach is about 5 mins drive from Sugar Cane, transport is provided by the hotel which takes you to the sister hotel resort where you can use its amenities or you can continue in to town again you can be picked up to take you back to sugar cane at designated times of the day. I do recommend a car hire to tour the island there are some good places to visit. If you want peace and quiet Sugar Cane Hotel & Spa is the place you want to check out.

This hotel is different from the island’s typical beachside hotels. The property is a big, well-kept garden in the interior of the island – a green oasis. If you want to go to the beach, you can use the hotel’s shuttles. We haven’t used this service because we only stayed for two nights here during our little Barbados round trip. If you want to relax in a green tropical environment, want to use the hotel’s excellent spa facilities and don’t need to be on the beach every single day, this hotel is the perfect choice.

My stays were absolutely fabulous. Love the place, love the staff. Will keep going.

Certainly a beautiful place we have been twice, we fell out with them on our first visit over a broken ornament which we did break but it was only because it was placed in a very precarious position on a coffee table and we caught it with the suit case, when we went back the second time we felt very uncomfortable as the general managers seemed to do his best to ignore us, was not good karma. We would not return again, having said that I would not put it down, it's so relaxing it's unbelievable. Very pretty, chalets are excellent, grounds are fantastic.

On the 22nd November 2014 we stayed a week at this Hotel. Great place to stay, clean, good food, well organised. The management and all staff worked very hard to make our stay perfect. We travel a lot and this place is one of the best place we have stayed. Our room was amazing, and we had a ball. Absolutely great place to get away and relax. Clean, organized and well maintained. The management and their entire staff went above and beyond to make my family's sudden ordeal and extra week stay due to unexpected situation, as comfortable as possible always checking in to see if everything was okay. I would definitely return to this location and recommend it to anyone going to Barbados.

Beautiful property and hospitality.

Spent my birthday and it was a nice get away. The service was good the room was great. One of the hotel staff took us for a morning walk in the gully and topped it off with two freshly cut coconuts. Shernel at reception was really accomodating and got the experience off to a great start. We will deffinately be back.

Bajan born an loving it. Nice, cool serene place, to relax. Varying treatments an a sweet lil area to cool out under a gazebo. Btw, I just hey to get a steam in de sauna, (don't mind outside hottest) an relax in de pool. Barbados is definitely the place to be.
