The food is great! I strongly recommend the creamy potato soup, Vienna steak and mixed vegetable salad.
The staff are very friendly and attentive, the service is top notch! The rooms are very clean, tidy and spacious. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.
For the guests of the hotel, parking is provided on the private parking lot of the property.

Always pleasant to sit in the shade of large chestnuttrees and eat my favorite dish in Austria : large salad with grilled turkey breast cut into strips. (Puten streifen auf blatt salat).
The palatschinke (palacinke laws) to apricot jam made at the moment are great.
Good service, equally good prices.

Guest garden, quality of food and tapped beer is at a very high level. Waiters are usually quick and friendly. In addition to traditional Austrian cuisine, kitchen has also a few international dishes with it.

Have visited the hotel on our journey home from Croatia. Have we felt very comfortable. Very friendly staff, nice clean rooms. We had enough space even with a cot.
The breakfast was delicious and adequate, there is something for every taste.

Good traditional Austrian food and the prices are adequate for what you get! Usually when I go there, I like to sit in the garden outside, which is nicer than the rooms inside. The staff is nice but could be friendlier.

Excellent traditional Austrian restaurant providing also accommodation. Lovely quiet beer garden but nonetheless right in the town centre.

It’s not so good how you would think. The receptionist was a beginner or something, he didn’t even know how to make the invoice for a company. There is a strange smell in the whole hotel and restaurant. The rooms were clean, but you feel like you’re at an arabic grandma’. The beer isn’t so good how they advertise. At the breakfast a woman walked in the restaurant with her dog, which for me is an unacceptable thing in hospitality.

Excellent food — traditional but still digestible. Buns are offered in large baskets and are far above average. Service is friendly conveying the feeling that it's not just greedy tourists show. Why not 5 stars? Well, it's Gösser beer…

Particularly unfriendly and expanding operators.
My Spezi was unfortunately not mixed through, which did not interest the waiter, for stirring I then got a straw.
Only the food was good, but serving at the same time is not practiced there either.
But luckily there are other localities in catfish.

I am only today in Wels, we are a group, we would Gösserbräu recommended. We are all very satisfied. They immediately put together 2 tables, and the waitress immediately added our food request and said to the kitchen we have little time that food was really very fast, and structure was really tasty. Mega cool garden, lightning quick Service and the kitchen (almost a little too quickly), down-to-earth cuisine, the tastes … a fixed point in Wels … HIGHLY recommended!

In the centre of Wels, and a bar is typical Austrian. Eats well and was good. Not I slept in at the hotel, if I had dinner in the restaurant.

An awesome Restaurant, Bar and Stamtisch meeting place… Tradition al Austrian. An Awesome outdoor area as well for the Weinacht Markt as well as during all seasons. Visit when you can!

Very comfortable with traditional charm and simple elegance… multi generational.

Food is quite good, however, it will be held at noon as a vegetarian is pretty stupid, because for the vegetarian lunch menu there is always beef soup. On request, whether you get this a salad or a couple of cents charged less, this is answered in the negative. All of the salads with meat. So for pure meat-eaters that like to sit in a smoky environment, it is top.

Food good, staff competent, guest garden the highlight. From May 100% smoke-free, that's the best, therefore 5 stars of mine. Will come again often.

Delicious food, friendly service. I and my friends were Recently there, because they wanted something to Drink. Because I wanted to have a Drink, I ordered nothing. I found it to be very good to get not a stupid gossip of waiters such as. This is not financed by itself, or that I had to go, if I order anything. It is also a good meeting place for friends after work.

Very good down-to-earth cuisine. Once you feel like grandma's kitchen or/and Hearty, here's the absolutely recommend values of Tradition Inn, with a cosy and rustic atmosphere. Price — performance vote definitely. However, you should make a reservation before.

Very nice guest garden. What I particularly appreciate at the Gösser is that you can always go to eat, because it is simply always open and also has heat kitchen. For me, it's always a fallback in Wels if I don't get a place anywhere else, but that's a little wrong with the local. Here and that leaves the service to be desired.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Just a short wait for dinner. Food tasted good!

Were there last week on recommendation. Traditional furnishings, very cozy. Smokers — and completely separate non-smoking area. Excellent goose roast, crispy, tasty, good portion. Also the burger was good. It was food time, so many orders, but everything went quite fast. Friendly service, could probably have been a bit more attentive. Overall a very nice evening there. I'm sure we'll be back.

Giving a positive rating of 5 stars from is really difficult! Food is good! Service comes to I think the female staff is friendly! The guest garden is quaint! If a chance meeting of kitchen staff/bosses or the Gösser Bräu owner I have to greet as a guest first I find strangely strange! The friendliest is the Lovable Older Service, which we greatly appreciate it is reliable and always has an ear for wishes that are also promptly fulfilled!
Our conclusion good bourgeois cuisine and great guest garden probably the most beautiful far and wide!

City Hotel in the historic building. Good restaurant with beer garden. Local and international dishes. Room clean with furniture matching to the building. Breakfast was good.

Superb beer garden with great atmosphere. Lovely fresh bread selection and fine pork and steak. Good selection of local beers and fast service. Recommended for a group or couples.

I went three for a dinner. The service was kind, the food prepared quickly and it was just great! Recommend it.

Waiter named Martin is an absolute imposition!
Unfriendly, lazy (did not want to bring us a highchair) and read and demonstratively wait 35 min to collect. Have to wait 20 minutes, the second time asked for the bill — waiter Martin turned to a corner and chatted again 15 minutes. With the cook.
We had the impression that little children are not welcome.

Great Guest Garden. The food is very good, drinks also. Unfortunately, long waiting times.
The rooms are simply kept, was there in the midsummer – unfortunately no air conditioning, therefore just under 30 degrees in the room. Was a very uncomfortable night.

Classic restaurant with very nice beer garden. Well-groomed beers, home cooking. Has practically always been open. Very friendly service. In the advent season changing Christmas Market in the garden, open fire, punch, very atmospheric.

If you are looking for something typical in Wels it is a good place, especially in summer, having a very spacious and cozy beer garden.

Because of the food there is the 2nd star, apart from that it is not recommended. We were ignored at the beginning at least 10 minutes, despite few guests at that time. Until the (really not bad) food was there, everything was right. But due to the warm temperatures, the doors and windows of the kitchen were constantly open and you could hear personal insults, accusations and threats among the staff, who of course bothered us as guests because of the choice of words and volume. And of course, the disputes also led to unnecessary waiting times.
In short: a catastrophic working environment that affects the entire atmosphere in gösserbräu.

The outdoor dining area is GREAT, the beer is GREAT, the food used to be GREAT. On 8. May 2015, we had 3 different meals in the outdoor dining area will be eaten, edible, I would say. The waiting time, almost 30 minutes it was still bearable, because the beer was good.
