Have a single house for the 5 of us. Very pleasant — location is amazing
Ideal for the children and me — excursions to the salt mine, Bad Ischl and tomorrow to the Dachstein.
Would book again anytime.

It's a very romantic and quiet place.

Bath disaster, breakfast also did not go at all, room not really clean. It's a real pity, because the plant has potential.

I would never go in this Hotel! DORMIO RESORT OBERTRAUN! The operator is ridge without! We bought them a year and a half in advance, but unfortunately, we could not make a pandemic and have not given us the money back! This is a pretty high amount of 330 euros. It is disgusting — please share it around people! Of course I'm going to send you an inspection, to resolve the Situation!

The accommodations are nicely laid out, however, you should have no Allergy to house dust and not under the beds look. The food in the Restaurant is delicious and is good and plentiful (But the soup is too salty and the noodles are quite bland, but the Steaks and fish are super). The controls do not make the impression to have already for a long time worked in the restaurant business. It's the wrong food, or the drink came gives either three-quarters inserted. We had Breakfast schimmelten cheese, expired Butter and part of the charm of a youth hostel. I would not book half Board. The "Spa" reminds me of nothing positive, as the pool is totally uncomfortable and the Sauna costs extra. So, I would not book.

It is great to be here. If we could stay longer we would. Plenty of facilities for the kids and plenty of excursions. On our terrace it is very quiet, near the lake there is a nice ambiance. We had a house for 4, it was spacious and well equipped. Some small items need fixing, but nothing that really bothers. Personnel is very friendly.

Outside view is great, but apartment facilities are quiet not enough, like no hair dryer!

Pizza hut on the dock had super nice waiter. Food was good too. Bar tender at the main resort restaurant was friendly and beer knowledgeable. Nice conversation. As far as the chalet, it was clean, but the staircase was extremely steep.

Great place. Excellent resort. Great breakfast. Brilliant location. A bit costly but its worth every penny you pay. Best of my Euro trip.

Great place to stay with a group of friends or family. We lived in an 8 person chalet (4 rooms) with a big living room and kitchen area. The chalet has a nice wooden style. Every room has a tv, bathroom, balcony and there's a sauna upstairs for private use (gorgeous after a whole day of riding the mountain). The chalet has a large hallway with places to stash skis and snowboards. Rooms are rather ascetic with a wardrobe, a desk with a chair and two nightstands. The kitchen has all that is needed to cook meals in-house including the dishwasher. You'll have a parking spot right outside of your chalet and if you'd like to take a bus it's right next to the resort. There are 2 major ski resorts close by: Krippenstein, which is 10 minutes away by car and Dachstein West, where you can get in ca 40 minutes. Also there's a swimming pool, gym and a bar in the reception building. In a 5 min. Walking distance you can get to a nice pizza place with a delicious Italian dishes. The reception has a little shop inside with some basic items to buy. For serious shopping you should go to the supermarket located within 15 min. Walk from the resort. People are nice and helpful.

This resort is really nice! Good location, which near the train station. Free facilities, like swimming poor and park. You can walk to Hallstatt, it takes 30mins. The best time to walk there is early morning, the weather is so nice! Ps the first picture, we froze the beer into the river! Really fun, you should try!

Despite the fact that from the outside had a pint amazing I have to say that the service was not up to it.

The resort is located by the lake and close to Hallstatt, but these are it's only advantages. Everything else will make your stay a poor experience.
If you arrive hungry in the evening then well, bad luck — restaurant is closed. Want to use a gym in the morning? Forget it, it’s closed too. Swimming pool is for kids only as you can’t really swim there and it’s closed in the morning anyway.
If you add poor customer service and unfair price policy with hidden costs that triple the price they advertise, you will have a complete picture of this place. The only stay I can recommend in Dormio Resort is staying away. They even charged us 6x city tax even though we were a group of four.

This resort is really bad, nature is beatiful and acommodation clean but… Our stay here cost 285EUR for 3 days. After our arival they charged us another 160 EUR for cleaning and tax. 160EUR! for nothing. Dishwash full of dirty dishes. Garbage must be taken by your own to trash cans across whole resort. Trash bags? You have to buy em or everytime ask on reception. Toilet paper? Only one roll to every toilet which is awesome if u are here at 4 ppl for 3 days. And overal c…leaning is done after you leave… honestly this kind of service is bit useless for visitors if you dont even get a toilet paper or new towels… Absolutely incredible service for 140 EUR. I wont recommend this resort to anyone. PS: One lady came at the day we was there and acommodation for 1 day was 80 EUR and still they charged her for 140EUR for nothing. My worst experience from traveling so far.

To be honest, rating one star for the atmosphere and surrounding does not do justice to this place because the view is simply amazing I kid you not. However one star for the treatment my friends and I received from the reception? I would've easily give a negative (if there is such a button to do so) We were not informed of the €205 cleaning fees when the booking was made. Who would in the right mind will book a place where the cleaning fee is even more expensive than the plac…e itself? Makes no sense. We can clean the place ourself ok. Spent more than two hours at the reception trying to sort this out by calling numerous people including booking. Com and the resorts' headquarters because why should we pay for something that we do not know about beforehand? Nope, both parties were blaming each other and we consumers became the victim because obviously there were no other options for us. Cancelling will cost us another €200 (they have a tendency of liking this number 2 haha) So there we go, no upgrades no discount no nothing, not even a sincere apology. They're basically just telling us to suck it up and pay. Thanks for the great hospitality we received after 3 hours of tiring journey from Salzburg, and FYI I'm being really sarcastic here if you don't realise, and at least I have my manners :) By the way, please clean the windows properly if you're charging us for the cleaning fees, there are way to many spider webs.
