Location is excellent. But breakfast is too bad. Only 2 cereals with milk, egg, apple and 2 choices of breads is what they call as buffet breakfast. Rooms are too small. But the staff is courteous. Ready to help in whatever way they can. Overall nice place to stay.

The location is super, the hotel is really 3 stars, the staff is friendly, the price could be 10 euros cheaper per day or some bonus would be.

This place is nice for the price. 3 of us stay comfortably in a room for 100 a night. Breakfast is better than some hotels but it's still a hotel breakfast. They also have free Wi-Fi even if the signal is weak and avg speeds were around 600kbs (lower case b)

The property is a short walk from the centre and close to the central station. A great location to explore the city from. Breakfast wasn't bad at all either, continental with a good variety. Bathrooms could be reinvented. Comfortable and with the necessary but covered in a kind of rubber. It seems to be inside a ship.

The best thing is the location. It is a bit old but the attention is exquisite. Breakfast is ok but there is no toaster.

Were for a night in a 3 bed room. Unfortunately, the rooms had not really been cleaned well (2 beverage covers as well as a Haargummi on the floor or just under the bed). Beds, however, were clean and the bathroom was okay too. The young man at the reception was friendly, courteous and helpful. The breakfast (which was included) was i. O. Unfortunately, individual things were always made (e. G. Cakes or boiled eggs), eggs were replenished, cakes in the time we had breakfast (9, 00-9.45), unfortunately not. All in all, I would still stay here again, as the price and location are really good and I'm not a spoiled person:)

Simple hotel with a prime location. The rooms are clean and there is everything necessary. It fulfills its function for tourists visiting Innsbruck.

Perfect location. Beautiful city. Not value for the money with a Frosty reception. Very Tired.

Big scam to avoid I am surprised to see so many positive opinions because we are dealing with real crooks who offer tempting rates on the platform as booking but keep well to clarify that the room concerned is tiny and just worthy of a hotel type formula 1 that the mention outside bathroom means that it is not even on the same floor.
that in addition to this the course to the room is dotted with obstacles that complicate the access when loaded in luggage.
A first volley of walking to get to the reception then OK an elevator but once out of it surprise a new series of 8 steps.
To get back to the room, the surface allows just to make it a cagibi and clearly incompatible for one night has 2 adults.
After finding that the room was not making the case back to reception the guy suggests we separate the beds while this is not possible.
It then offers us a larger room but for double the price.
We decide to leave the establishment to find a room worthy of the name.
So we took a 4 star at €118 at night with breakfast and spacious room while the Goldene Krone we were asking for €130 for 3 stars which in me was 2 maximum.
Full of history they refuse to reimburse me the reservation despite the call of the customer service booking.

We find ourselves at the bottom of a corridor, in a room of 5m2, one room, no WC, no shower (Ah if, but upstairs below). Leaving for a professional trip, this hotel had been chosen for its proximity to the city center. Travelling with a colleague, we had specified two separate beds. We ended up in a room with a bed, the width of the room being conditioned by the length of the bed. After taking our keys and discovering the room, we politely asked for an upgrade… Surcharge charged 2 times the price of the room. After explaining text, as we had booked two separate beds, we could not find any compromises with the receptionist. So we took a room in another hotel, or we were expecting a receptionist in the Costard, in a Convention Center, a little outside the city center. Short. I would advise against this kind of hotel, or the customer is more regarded as a milk cow than as a real customer.

Due to the central location and the relatively reasonable price, this hotel is clearly recommended. Breakfast is good and adequate. The rooms are clean but a bit spartan.

Excellent location 5min walk from Innsbruck train station and 2min walk to old town.

Good hotel in fantastic location kind staff, decent breakfast. It hasn't been renovated for a while, so rusty look, but everything works! No tea making facilities or hairdryers in the room (you can request hairdryer). Parking is limited so make sure they confirm availability.

Simple rooms, for a weekend but sufficient. The location is top. Directly at the triumphal gate and in the supposedly most famous street of Innsbruck with many shopping possibilities, bars & restaurants.

Very bad choice, old and poor equipment in the rooms, need complete refurbishment, the only good thing is the location.

It was a very nice hotel. They offer parking a few hundred meters from the hotel at a cost of €8 daily and is very convenient.
Old and small rooms with fiberglass bathroom. At the same price you can find much better. Friendly and helpful staff, my negative rating is only addressed to the property.

Nice hotel in city center of Innsbruck. It is located in the corner, no parking area to pull over. You must get a key from the front desk to access the private parking. It is about 2 blocks away from the hotel (3min walk). Room was comfortable and breakfast was Continental style.

The hotel is just a few hundred meters from the center and is right behind the Triumphpforte. It is quite clean and the international breakfast plentiful, the staff is nice. Within walking distance there is a parking.

Five stars for superb location. Super quick walk to the old city center. Windows open completely. This is unusual in the states. Room super tiny but clean and charming. Staff very friendly. Love sitting in the open windows and people watching.

Amazing location but expensive for standard room : ( My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel in mid August 2010 during our Euro trip. This was the most expensive hotel we had to stay in and basically there were no other options and this looked the best. We booked a month before travelling so there was no other choice so we were quite disappointed to pay 80-90 EUR a night for a very simple and basic standard room that only had beds and a small cupboard for few clothes. We had a lovely view from our window — full greenery of the garden of the hotel… Buffet breakfast that was included in the hotel price was lovely! Similar to the one in Vienna with lots of cheeses and cold cuts so I loved making sandwiches with tea in the morning. Fantastic location. Lots of restaurant choices on this side of town although we spent more days on the old town (hotels in old town were more expensive though). The castle is so close and lovely for a nice hike all the way up around sunset time. We had a nice coffee and beer in the restaurants upstairs and a lovely walk around the castle. You get a good view of the Untersberg mountain which we also visited with the cable car one of the days. Best is to buy the card bus pass cause it allowed u to get on and off the buss around the city and to the mountain.

We spent here the last of the year, the rooms are clean compact and with a panoramic view, the hotel is very close to the center, walking arrivals everywhere The breakfast is a little scarce and with foods that a normal person does not eat at breakfast (eg. Marinated fish, peppers) all in all a pleasant experience.

Good location, equidistant from the center and the station, within walking distance and also reachable with a camminatina a bit ' longer from the parking of the FlixBus near the Imperial Gardens. Nice breakfast and nice staff. The clean and functional room. Sure the room has its price, but from those parts in Innsbruck you will not easily find other hotels unless. Maybe they could freshen up the whole facility.

The location of the hotel is great. In the middle of the city centre.
The room is OK for one night. Small. A little older.
But very noisy. Every time someone runs somewhere in the hallway whether here or one floor higher (! ) rattles the lampshade and the steps are heard as a dull stomping.

Nice rooms. Very nice location. Friendly staff. Breakfast was average did not have a toaster. Rooms did not have a kettle. But rest was a very nice stay views no issues. Was also to leave luggage for safe keeping after checkout.

It's near to the train station (5-min walk), clean place, nice service, good breakfast, but Wi-Fi was horrible.

We stayed for three nights in early October 2014, mainly because of its convenient location about six minutes walk from the main station and close to the old city. Everything was satisfactory, including the breakfast. Another TV channel in English to CNN would be a bonus. Staff were friendly and obliging to us. Would recommend for a short stay.
