We had room 209, Photos online are very deceiving, dust everywhere on fans door frames, small plates are tea cup plates, hardly enough cutlery or plates, had 2 small bowls in the room. The fridge was leaking water and the bottom and vege tray in the bottom filled with dirty water had to clean out the fridge and the water tray upon arriving, the freeze is neally a IceCube inside, the dining table top is not even connected to the frame. Infested with Cockroaches. The Wi-Fi is basically non existent doesn’t work at all.
People yelling and fighting all through the night and early morning, can hear doors banging, people running and stomping through there rooms and hallways all hours of the night, can hear when others flush the toilet and use the taps, so don’t expect to be getting a good sleep here. People setting off a fire alarm at 5am in the morning saying to evacuate, half the people still in there rooms then someone just said oh it’s a false alarm once ive woken my children up to evacuate! Dirty windows that look like they have never been cleaned on higher stories of the building with no locks so the windows open the whole way which a child or person could easily fall out and don’t even have fly screens on half of them. Queen bed is two singles pushed together and the quilt cover is a double size with a single quilt inside, the mattresses and pillows are hard as a rock and the spare pillows have no slips, a cigarette burn hole in one of the quilt covers, no face washer in the bathroom, used the towel and it ripped in half. Clothes Dryer gets stuck on and doesn’t turn off. My jug boiled and the water tasted funny I took it down to the manager and he told me boil a lemon in it to clean the black stuff out of it, and he didn’t have one to give me but did I have a lemon to do it, then told me he would look out the back and that his kid out there was the same and that he would bring me up one, then ended up getting another jug not new just from some where else. Have seen numerous drunk and drug affected people in the hotel and hanging around the car park, someone in the lift going on the nod. One night ambulances were in the car park the next day was told by the manager someone that was ‘high’ drowned in the pool last night; they had signs on the pool fence saying biohazard and do not enter for atleast 3/4 days after this happening, beforehand people would be sitting in the pool area drinking since the drowning no one has been in the area, not that I would dare swim or take my children in there. Leather lounge all cracked had a cover over it that just slides off. The vaccume didn’t even work it has that much hair blocked in the vaccume head. Had left my porta cot in the room when I left but still had paid an extra week when I returned Eddie has told me there was no cot, they have probably took it to rent out themselves, and the $150 bond I did not get back what they said I was smoking in the room which I was defiantly not as I had 3 young children, which I have read also on other reviews this is what they do to people. The hotel Have to pay extra $10 per day for parking in which I keep getting parking ticket fines for parking on my car window. There are two different desks in the foyer Perth city apartments and inner city apartments and from speaking with another family that booked the opposite to us they are exactly the same and they had cut their stay short here because of the dump it is luckily they hadn’t got stuck and already paid in full like we had, It is defiantly not a place for families or even a place to feel safe in your room or going through the foyer or car park, it is a run down dump that should be shut down! Would defiantly not recommend to any person or family!
