Very very clean rooms very helpful friendly staff well worth it.

Very disappointed with the room and understanding of staff with a sudden covid lockdown. We were in the room for 10 minutes and got notified that Perth was going into lockdown so had to leave and will not be refunded. We had offered to pay a cleaning fee but that has been rejected and we are still paying the full amount even though we didn’t stay. The state of the room was also disappointing with very old linen that was frayed and stained as well as the bath towels being way past their use by.
Overall very disappointed with all aspects of this Hotel will not be recommending them any time soon.

Great location and friendly staff, the breakfast of awesome and with a view! is my go to for accomodation in Geraldton.

No information that there was no food available at the hotel when booking or when they sent a text confirmation stating breakfast available. Information was up in the rooms about ordering food but when asked advised that it’s shut (and the outsourcing menu). Noisy rooms and would not recommend. Certainly not worth the $$$

I booked a room for a business trip and had to cancel for a medical emergency within 24hours of the booking, I was actually just going to rebook for the following week for 2 nights and they charged me for the night I had to cancel. It’s not like they were full and it was an inconvenience. Absolutely appalling service don’t recommend this hotel.

Beautiful corner room with balcony, fabulous bathroom, great staff breakfast was really nice and beautiful bar to sit in and have a glass of wine in the afternoon — great view. Highly recommend!

What a rip of I booked in on the 29/5/19 and they charge me $229 and then on the 3/619 they charged me $329 wtf.

My friend and I came to Geraldton for one night to go to the premier of ‘Rocketman’ that the Midwest Charity Begins At Home had put on. We decide to stay at the Ocean Centre Hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The room was surprisingly big with a queen and a single bed in the room. Very clean, modern, and the beds were super comfortable.
We found the staff to be so lovely and they went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.

A huge thank you to Paul Hendrickson who works at the Hotel and saved the day when I had a flat tyre in the car park. He was so lovely to change my tyre and got us on our way, which I am so grateful for & it was very much appreciated.

Lovely place to stay right on the foreshore great views staff very friendly we stayed here twice both times we got a upgrade would definitely recommend.

We walked in and were greeted with the biggest smile and friendly staff at the front desk.
Our room was clean and had a pretty amazing view of the harbour, the hotel is located in a great location for people to enjoy the local restaurants and breakfasts at the ocean centre restaurant was yummy and nice and quick.
Overall a great place to stay and would defiantly recommend for a relaxing night out.

Ocean Centre Hotel is a fantastic place to stay whilst visiting the area this building is also home to the restaurant Skeetas which is extremely fancy and nice the only downside to Skeetas is that it only has seafood and for someone who dislikes seafood I find it hard to find a meal but it's worth it even if it's a tad expensive ⚒️

Good hotel and staff are attentive although parking is a hassle especially for larger vehicles.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much. The couple we traveled with also did. We had Deluxe rooms on the top floor (4th) next to each other. Rooms were simple, clean and felt modern. Can't say enough about the king bed. My wife and I agreed it's one of the most comfortable we've slept in. The view was of the bay and ocean. Couldn't find a better view than that. Awesome in the morning with a coffee on the balcony. Our friends came to our room on evening to attempt a card game and the layout of the room proved difficult but we did manage. The rooms we were in do their job but aren't designed to entertain. The bathroom was a good size and the shower was good also. TV was about a 100 cm and worked well with 2 movie channels and to watch it you pretty much had to lie in the bed. The only con was the fridge. A very small bar fridge which would accommodate milk and two or three drinks and some cheese. I had to rely on my esky which I had to resurrect with ice every day for the three we were there. That's the only reason for not giving a 5 star rating. Fourth floor remember. We received two complimentary vouches for beers on arrival for beers to use in the hotel bar which was nice and a discount voucher which cost $10 for the breakfast they have in the bar area. Bacon, eggs, toast and such like but had to pay extra for sausages. We all enjoyed the breakfast and even more because of the views or the bay and ocean through the windows that span the whole side of the hotel.

The service was absolutely wonderful. The staff went above and beyond for us. We stayed overnight with our newborn baby, and everyone was so lovely. The room was nice and very clean, the view was fantastic! Will definitely stay here again! Thank you to the lovely staff who looked after us. We really appreciate it.

Nice. Close to the beach, shopping centre, playgrounds, foods etc however when your neighbour room talking during night time you may able to hear it.

Breakfast finishes at9am much to early then no more food during day or evening unless you order from the outside source for your room not really 4star service, very pricey but if you' pay the extra good sea view room's and spotless clean.

Nice hotel. Right near the beach and central business district. Friendly staff and a complimentary drink on arrival. Clean room. Decent shower and plenty of space. They grant access to the snap fitness centre, which is just a little walk (2min) down the road. Quiet also. Complimentary secured parking was also a nice touch.

Not an ethical business. I had booked 3 nights stay initially. However due to unforeseen personal circumstances, I had to cancel my travel plans. Although I was under the impression that I had cancelled the reservation, for some reason (due to possible issues with my net connectivity) it did not go through. I only realized the booking had not cancelled when I got a SMS from the hotel on the day informing me the room was available. I immediately approached wotif through whom I had made the booking. The hotel staff informed wotif guys they would charge one night's rent as cancellation. I directly approached the hotel reservations asking them to consider my case and waive off the cancellation fee. Before doing so I checked their website and could see a number of hotel rooms available for renting even on the day. My request for waiving off the cancel fee was not entertained and I was told their's is a busy hotel! Although the hotel is operating legally (according to terms and conditions of the booking) I feel it is not ethical.

Great customer service! Rooms are average and the last one I stayed in did smell of smoke. But my previous visits have had no problems.

Great location in centre of town across the road from city beach and park. Stayed in suite with long balcony only room left as I did not book on a Tuesday night No restaurant for night meals but in room dining available from restaurant around corner. Great view from room. Clean and spacious room. Friendly staff. Free secure parking.

What a view, if you liked cars in the hotel car park and then you had to peer through windows that hadn't been cleaned in a while. The room was cleaned, well you think they had been as the smell of bleach when you entered the room was overwhelming. The glass which had a cider in hadn't been been washed as you could still see the residue round the glass. Not only had they not topped up the bathroom with amenities they had forgotten to give us any towels and we had to go and ask for them. Went down for breakfast with my husband and ordered our breakfast he had avo smash and I ordered a fruit platter with yoghurt. We were given cups to make our own hot drinks ok. We sat down and waited and waited and final my husbands avo smashed came out he waited but I said eat it else it would go cold. He ate his breakfast and had two cups of tea and still no sign of my fruit platter! So enough of the waiting I wanted breakfast with my husband not on my own. So we went to the counter and after waiting for two other people to be served we cancelled my fruit platter as it was still nowhere to be seen. Once we cancelled the waitress came out with 4 fruit platters for different tables and said one was ours. To cut my comment short I said it was too late! The staff were friendly enough but obviously expected to run too many sections. The receptionists at night was not only expected to run reception but the bar as well, hence when you went to the bar you had to ring a bell and wait and vice versa.

Rooms were ok. Hotel is dated and doesnt have a restaurant. Really limited parking. Not much else going for the hotel apart from being ocean front.

Beautiful room and the view was amazing but I feel that housekeeping left a lot to be desired. We stayed 3 nights and on the first night I had put some cream on a sore which was on my leg which unfortunately left a stain on the sheet which were never changed. The towels in the bathroom which were not changed every day but also one day I just put it on the towel rack not folded up and thats where it was when we came home. SO of course it did not have time to dry out properly. Who designs a shower with only half a door.? and the toilet roll we had to take off the holder as you could not reach it while on the toilet. I think the matteess and pillows need replacing as they were very soft. Overall we payed $199 a night for the room with a view but not much else. Try somewhere else next time we are in town.

A neat hotel right on the waterfront in the heart of town. Staff were very friendly and there was a great little bar that overlooks the waterfront.

The hotel provides great views of the sunset. My room was perfect and the under cover secure car parking was a bonus. Enjoyed a cold beer on arrival in the bar.

My favourite hotel in Geraldton. 3rd floor with views across the harbour. It is in the middle of town. Restaurants nearby. Has its own bar and $10 breakfast. Rooms are well appointed. Nice place to stay.

Clean rooms, well serviced. If you get a front room you'll have great views of the foreshore. The bar is also a great way to watch the sunset. Breakfast is highly recommended!

I had a room with Queensize bed facing court yard. The room was small and compact with good facilities.

Can't go wrong for a cheap night, always our stop over hotel of choice.

I spent a night here in Feb 2010. The basic room rate was $130. For this we got a dirty, smelly room on the ground floor that backed onto the rubbish bins and was right next to a night club. At about $80 it would have felt like a nasty cheap room in a crappy hotel, but at $130 it felt like being ripped off. The outside of the hotel and the location look nice, but everything I saw inside was awful. There are much better hotels than this one.

We stayed in a family room — two rooms with an interconnecting door — and it was great. Each room had a bathroom, TV and beds to sleep 3. The rooms were clean, the staff were friendly, the location is BRILLIANT! The price is also very reasonable. This may not be the best hotel we have ever stayed in, yes, the decor is a little dated, but compared to anything else to offer in Geraldton, this was fantastic. Also, it is positioned across the road from a HUGE kidspayground, and pristine beach — our kids spent hours just having fun. You are within walking distance to all the cafe's and shops.
