Ultra noisy! All spaces are open including dormitories where the walls do not go up to the ceiling. So in his room, we take advantage of the noise and light of the nearby dormitories but especially the resonance of the kitchen/living area just below the dormitories. Just horrible.

This backpackers is the best backpackers in the broome (But if you come to the warm season, you have to know that aircon is not good.

I wanted to include a qoute from a previous review about this hostel because it hits the nail on the head exactly (it's at the bottom). I also am sleeping in room 26 and there are more than 4 people (it's a 4 bed dorm) storing bags in this room and from what I suspect multiple people are not paying board, most of the people in my room have been removing their sheets when they get up and store them in the lockers provided claiming that people take them. I am going to be speaking with management about this and also confirming with cleaning staff as I feel this is a serious breach of privacy and conduct on behalf of this hostel. I do not think it's appropriate to turn a blind eye to people coming in and out of the rooms without being accounted for as this can lead to instances of theft. Qoute: "The staff at this place have no idea or maybe they do but I'm pretty sure a French woman sleeps in the room 26 and she works at Yha hostel, this is what happens she checks the roster to see who is moving in and leaving soon as someone leaves her French friends sneak in to sleep. This only means that there getting tipped off every time and not paying rent while other people have to pay full bored This sickens me that these people that work here can't or haven't got any idea or brains of what's going on! "

Don't bother, this one is a party place, and having a bar onsite doesn't help that much. Great for young, thoughtless backpackers but mature people be warned. At least they have a 11pm quiet rule, not that it is adhered to or enforced in any way. I should have left and found somewhere else except I felt obliged to stay with my tour group fellows (the tour company booked us in here). On the plus side is its close proximity to the town centre. Free Wi-Fi in lounge space only. Bathrooms are generally clean and grounds well kept. Each bed has a dedicated lockable locker, but BYO padlock. Unfortunately there is scarcely any power points, even in dorm rooms, where there was one socket to 12 people. Dorm rooms are not separate rooms but partitioned, so a 12 bed dorm room is actually a 36 bed dorm room with 2 dividing walls, which I find pretty shonky. In the kitchen, all cookware and crockery/etc requires a deposit to obtain. They almost always run out of linen, I was unable to secure a pillow case throughout my entire 5 night stay. Definitely not disability friendly, stairs everywhere.

Drinks are quite all right but you meet a lot a friends! Wanne Party its a great place.

Very good staff in there, so friendly and always there to help. Good locatio, you can reach the center walking. Nice swimming pool, bbq, laundry, clean facilities and a bar with tv. But the most important thing is that here you're sure to meet new friends everyday! ❤

The hotel should have some, very convenient. This side is full of hot places, but there is no air-conditioning in the room, sleep at night will not be hot quite magical, it should be morning and evening the relationship between the big difference. The kitchen utensils are very complete can cook, nearby walks to have the supermarket and the scenic spot to be very good oh! The airport is also on the side of the walk will come.

Best hostel I've been to in Australia. I agree that the hygiene could have been a bit better but it was in no way dirty or unhygenic, you just see dirt here and there. The rest was 10/10. Nice pool, cheap bar, good location and nice staff. I would go here anytime I visit broome again.

Good wide open hostel. A lot of Space and a fantastic staff! Negativ : Sorry guys but the bed's are horrible. The matritz so thin that I lay directly on the metal construction of the bed. I have back pain! And the Kitchen is sometimes a little bit dirty. But this problem comes by the guests.

Not great at all. Dirty rooms. Smells weed everywhere! Random homeless people are staying in this hostel, last night 2 women were wasted and threw up everywhere in the room… bahh creepy! Not recommended for a single person. The only good thing is the swimming pool & free Wi-Fi.

Fantastic place. Have been staying at KK’s for many years in peak season love the pool and the chill time hammocks. Everything you need at a affordable backpackers stay is within the complex. A (long) stones throw from boulevard or Chinatown shopping centers. Free bus service was icing on the cake ✌

The location here is great, just a few minutes walk to Chinatown or Woolworths. The whole place is very clean and spacious and the staff is okay. Great thanks to the housekeeping guys from Fiji who were always very friendly but professional. I would definitely stay again!

Close to airport. Good management and very nice atmosphere. Shuttle to the beach, big kitchen. All good.

Good location. Lots of information available. Easy to use kitchen. Large dorms are not in good condition.

I arrived to YHA broome through a friend recommendation. I slept in 12 bed dorms for one night, and until the morning it was fine. The problem starts in the morning. Check out time is at 09:30, and one of the workers came to wake me up at 09:00 to say that I need to check-out. A girl that invited the room for longer time then me asked for my bed and they forced me to check out because she arrived. My friend slept in the "reserved" bed and had the bed number on her key. My friend stayed for one more night. As she left the hostel around 11 am and came back at 4 pm she noticed that someone moved all of her belongings to other bed (including wallet, passports, and tablet. ) as she ask what happened, the staff moved her from this bed to other bed without letting her know. I am ashamed for YHA, usually they have high level of service. Not in broome, stay away.

Staff very friendly, nice open communal space to sit and relax. Pool and bar area very nice. Private room had plenty of space and the bed was comfy enough. Toilet and shower area always clean, only gripe is that other guests sometimes failed to clean up after themselves once they had used the kitchen or BBQ.

Great hostel, I went in the off-season so there wasn't a lot of people… Great staff with the highlight being "Todd"… He works hard to make it a good experience for all his guests… Great guy, the hostel wouldn't be the same without him. Kevin-07

Very nice hostel, the kitchen is very big and furnished. There is a very nice relaxing area and it's impossible be alone here!

Brilliant accommodation, clean facilities, outstanding staff & management. Excellent pool and bar areas. Reasonably priced drinks. Restaurant quality communal kitchen. Great location and overall I'd regard it as a cut above the competition. I will stay here again… I enjoyed the time I spent here. Must be the only backpackers I've seen where catching an STI was not a likelihood. I found it to be very clean and well maintained… Ask for Todd when making your booking…

Excellent place to stay, very friendly staff, good swimming pool, nice environment, clean bathrooms dorms and kitchen, free rental bikes, free nice breakfasts, free shuttle from and to the greyhound bus station! One of my favorite backpackers in Australia.

Very nice indeed. Shot walk away from general store and beach. Not overpriced at all, the rooms are very spacious.
