I had the opportunity to live at the hostel for two months, and it was a great experience!

I’ve been here for 5 months and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to live! It truly feels like living with a family, best hostel in Melb!

Great cheap stay in Phillip island. Clean cozy rooms with clean attached bathroom. Location is great.

Excellent hostel, location right behind town centre so is walkable but very quiet, nice setting, great spacious facilities including kitchens and lounge areas (inside and out) — great value stay.

My wife and I enjoyed staying here. It’s great value, clean and tidy. Check-in was seamless and the staff were friendly and very helpful with local tips.

Great location! Near the metro and easy access to the city. The beds are comfortable with modern lighting and outlets in the bunks. It’s better than most hostels anywhere.

Five minutes from Albert park (Formula 1! ) and a short walk from the beach and vibrant St. Kilda. Love it! Staff is sooo helpful, good vibes, this is how hostels should be! 5 Stars!

Convenient location. They also have an equipped kitchen and the manager was very helpful. I found it to be very good value for Melbourne.

I arrived late at night and was struggling to secure accommodation, but from the moment I called, I felt genuinely cared for.

Lovely hostel with a bar. Staff is friendly and informative, rooms are quiet and clean. The QV market is right next door as is the free tram.

A Perfect Stay in St Kilda – Thanks to Jose!

Good place to make friends, close to the beach and many restaurants. And the reception is always ready to help you. Don't forget to go to Apartment 29 and Fith Province.

Female dormitory was clean and quiet.
Mixed dormitory quit hot and pack.
But the price per night was affordable.
Customer service also quit good.

I think it’s better than what the reviews here say.
It’s improved a lot since the first time I came here.
After a deep cleaning, there are no bed bugs, no smell, and no mold in my room.

This is one of the best hostel I have been to Italy uk France. It is not a sterile International place.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! It’s absolutely gorgeous. The people working there is kind, everything work perfectly. If you are just traveling as a women I extremely recommend stay in a female room.

Overall, Flinders Backpackers was a solid choice. I stayed in a private room, which was small but had everything I needed, including a TV with Netflix.

Only the location is good. Avoid at all costs if you have a better budget.
Water temperatures in shower are very inconsistent and in a cold place like melbourne it sucks!
Rooms are too tight.

If you are easily bothered by the noice it would be ok. They are providing towel for 2$ and there is 50$ deposit for the key. The kitchen is fine and the room as well.
