Cheap Hotels in Victoria

This was a lovely, welcoming hotel. The rooms are spotless and the hotel itself has great facilities because it's a backpackers as well, the guest kitchen was very handy.

My room was excellent in every way the Lodge is close to all thats best in Mnsf ield cafes shops walks. The manager Sebastian was a delight.

Great location and lovely facilities. Better to be camped near the "cliff" for best views and star gazing. Toilets, showers, laundry facilities, kitchen and BBQ area.

A really gorgeous little caravan park that also has a number of cabins. Easy access to beautiful beaches and stunning coastal walks.

What’s not to like?
Beautifully presented, great lounge area with food and drinks. Rooms were immaculate.
And a Tesla Supercharger bay next door in their carpark.

Stayed here for one night on our Great Ocean Road trip. The room was large and the bed even bigger! Could probably fit 4 people haha.

Best hostel for your stay in Melbourne. Very clean and spacious rooms with bathrooms en-suite. Everything is constantly being cleaned and quiet time is being respected.

Great hostel with a really good vibe. The place is clean, well located and the staff are friendly and helpful. Common areas are nice to meet people and relax.

I am sad about finding this hostel so late to my stay in Melbourne. It’s clean, the curtained beds give you a perfect amount of privacy and darkness so you’re actually able to sleep through the night.

Receptionists are very helpful Jodi has been lovely and very helpful, rooms are kept clean most staff are tenants and traveler, everyone is very helpful and friendly.

Clean spacious rooms. Plenty of parking, and feels safe.

I have stayed at Bridges on numerous occassion within the last couple of month, and I can definetly say it is my favourite place to stay.

Excellent hostel, location right behind town centre so is walkable but very quiet, nice setting, great spacious facilities including kitchens and lounge areas (inside and out) — great value stay.

My wife and I enjoyed staying here. It’s great value, clean and tidy. Check-in was seamless and the staff were friendly and very helpful with local tips.

This place has all the facilities you could ever need, is very clean and easy to check-in. My only criticism would be you cannot check in till 4 pm everything else was fantastic.

Beautiful location, with a pond inside the holiday park that makes it very convenient for fishing. The rooms were good, and overall everything was great except for the Wi-Fi.

The managers were lovely.
We stayed in the bunkhouse which was fab as there was only one other person staying there at the same time so the kitchen was near single use.

Bayside House in St Kilda is an awesome place to stay. The location is is close to the beach, public transport, cafes, and everything St Kilda has to offer.

Great location! Near the metro and easy access to the city. The beds are comfortable with modern lighting and outlets in the bunks. It’s better than most hostels anywhere.

I stayed in a glamping pod over the weekend and had a wonderful experience. The pods are very nice, comfortable bed and have a microwave, kettle and mini fridge for snacks and meals.

Stay here every year with friends best place ever so fun easy beach access heaps of toilets in walking distance it could do with a park upgrade but other then that this place is fireeeeeee.

Great location right next to West Richmond railway station, which made it very easy to get around. The room was in excellent condition with a comfortable bed and a proper work desk.

I was in the transition of having to move out of my appartment and finding a new place. I stayed for a week. I chose Richmond private rooms because it was affordable for a long stay.

I arrived in barkly backpackers in April 2024 as a young shy 18 year old starting out at housekeeping.

What a magical hostel! Never have I ever had so many friends and so much fun in my life. Yes the accommodation isn’t amazing but the ambiance of the old building is beautiful.

I stayed here for a few months recently.

We came from Cairns for the Supercross at Marvel Stadium. Booked into the Best Western but found the best hospitality with Ye at the Queen Vic.

Great location. Amazing service. Olivia was especially friendly and explained things clearly. I needed to contact them on Sunday and they were responsive and understanding.

A place to rest with an affordable price the experience of staying is related to the people staying together with you inside the hostel.

Had dinner here. Really nice environment. Fresh food. The parma will be upgraded from new year onwards to a chicken breast this is processed so lacks a bit but should be a LOT better.

Beautiful place to sit and have a beer after a long hike, in the middle of town and food is pretty good as well. Staff are top tier definitely worth walking in if you’re in the area!

Female dormitory was clean and quiet.
Mixed dormitory quit hot and pack.
But the price per night was affordable.
Customer service also quit good.

I think it’s better than what the reviews here say.
It’s improved a lot since the first time I came here.
After a deep cleaning, there are no bed bugs, no smell, and no mold in my room.

Booked this while riding my bicycle down from Warrnambool towards Geelong. It was a good stopover point for the first night.
