Great overall facilities. Shame we chose a weekend that had bad weather. (Mid August) The kids loved the bouncy mound but the other play equipment wasn't as elaborate. Food good. (Limited options for kids under 5) Rooms were great although extreme wind bashed doors all night so it was hard to sleep. Totally worth the trip and we would go back… during better weather.

Stayed for three days. Kids loved it. Breakfast was amazing every day but very busy. Probably would have got 5 stars if we didn't have to clean the room when we left so we didn't get charged. If we stayed again next time we would want to check out the pool. Looked very nice.

We arrived very happy we are celebrating our 5 years anniversary. The receptionist was cold and in a hurry. The room was dirty zero attention to detail the bed was old, me and my husband struggle to sleep in such an horrible banana bed. At 8an we went to have a breakfast Unfortunately was awful the food was cold no glasses for the juice no plates to put the food no spoons and when I asked for a glass to one of the attendant she absolutely ignore me. I was trying to get some eggs and one of the attendant (guy) pushed me with his harm and moved the tray away without to say a simple "excuse me"If you are not prepare to cover or attend a big amount of guest is very simple : don't offer breakfast and please train your team properly with hospitality manners. Very disappointed. Elizabeth.

Great accommodation for the price we paid. View was amazing especially at sunset! Breakfast was good also. Really nice staff and the pool and spa was unexpectedly nice.

Decent accommodation to spend the night if you plan to attend the Penguin Parade. This hotel is about 20 to 25minutes drive away from it. I considered other options alongside this, but none came close in terms of quality and convenience. The room is relatively small, but it sufficed. Did not manage to try out the breakfast or amenities as I only spent one night here. All in all, a conveniently situated accommodation with a pleasant compound that made me feel safe amidst the vastness of Australia:)

Lots of amenities and activities for children and families, a good restaurant and bar service. The rooms are clean and modern, but there are no blackout curtains and the rooms are not soundproof so you can hear neighbours television. If your room is facing the right way the view is quite spectacular.

My family and I were really excited to go and stay at the resort the place looked presentable when we first arrived. But when we got to our room the door to our apartment was already wedged opened which we though was strange but excepted. Things got even worse as the night went on my children noticed stray cats and to our surprise they where living under our apartment. As the wind picked up that that night the secure front door would not lock and blew open at times also there was a huge bush scratching against our window that made it impossible to sleep. After a less than prefect night my husband asked for a room change! The staff were more than understanding and arranged another room which was much more acceptable even though it was overlooked by two other apartments that got embarrassing at times. As we had come to the resort for a family weekend all twenty of us went to eat at the resorts restaurant for dinner. Seems that was a mistake too, the selection of food and the service was less than satisfactory for the price. Everyone went back to their room deflated. We will not return to Silverwater Resort and we don"t recommend it to anyone.

Really nice place to enjoy Phillip Island. The view from my room was just perfect. I would love to come back again.

Lovely family spot. Restaurant is extremely average. Pack your own food. Rooms are nice. View is amazing.

Stayed here over the weekend at the start of March. This place is amazing! Stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment (room 174). On arrival staff were very friendly and welcoming in every way. Check in was a breeze and finding our room was easy. This hotel is very family friendly with a massive playground, but these rooms still offer heaps of privacy for couples. Rooms were big and spacious. Lounge was comfy and kitchen has everything you could need. Didn't even eat out. Cooked on the BBQ each night and enjoyed our amazing sea views. If you want to visit Phillip island but want to stay just put of town. Then this place is perfect. There are 2 pools, one heated (heated is chlorine and outdoor is salt), a steam room, tennis court, basketball court, playground, large garden area, restaurant, and im sure a few things I missed. Highly recommended!

Great place to visit with a family. The apartments we're quite nice, clean and spacious with views. Although, it could do with some updating, like the carpets. Also, for some reason, our rooms were missing sheer blinds while other had them. The restaurant was quite decent and worth a seating, but the rest of the facilities are starting to be a little dated, especially the pool area where rust is coming through… it could be better maintained. The staff were very helpful and professional… Overall we had a nice time and would love to go back for another stay.

We stayed in a 1 bed apartment and to be honest the resort missed our expectations on almost every front. We were supposed to have a queen bed but what we got was 2 singles pushed together which had a gap in the middle of the bed. Very uncomfortable. The washing machine didnt spin or dry despite being reported 3 times to reception. The food from the bar was way below what we expected. The trio of dips came with a slice of toast rather than sour dough and the pizza was so over cooked the base was hard. In the games room, none of the arcade machines worked. I asked for flowers and champagne to be in the room on arrival and neither were present. On a positive note, Sam the barman was pleasant and helpful. All this feedback was given to reception. Will it be passed on to the manager, probably not.

Great experience as usual. 3 bdr apartments are great for family get aways. The gaming room could use a bit of maintenance.

This place is a disgrace. After researching online for disabled friendly accommodation, we organised 13 special needs people to attend for a much needed weekend away. After many conversations with Silverwater and being promised that they can accommodate our needs, they supplied rooms that could not be fit a wheelchair though the doors and make shift ramps that resembled the slopes of the north face. When questioned about their facilities and conduct the staff became rude and asked why we wouldn't get out of the chairs to go in the rooms!

Nice place reception helpful although I asked for some toiletries and 1 of the receptionists asked me to come to the front desk and pick them up I think she should have sent them to me just like the blanket was sent and the room service food I ordered. I would give 5 stars if it wasn't for the mosquitoes And while im at it some proper instructions for the washer dryer And the rooms could be cleaner but I am a clean freak very fussy person Having said all that it really is a great place 1 of the best on the island.

The Silverwater resort is in a great location for access to Phillip Island with great views and good facilities. Unfortunately the rooms are getting rather dated with thread bare carpets and rock hard sofas that are impossiblly uncomfortable. The staff are delightful and very helpful. House keeping are very quick to respond to problems, although it would be helpful if equipment was tested before letting to guests as we had to report a broken dishwasher and a broken lamp on arrival. However both were fixed immediately on reporting them. Unfortunately we couldn't use the terrace/outdoor dining setting,, with lovely views as the whole thing was covered in Possum poo, that had clearly not been cleaned for sometime. This was not our first visit to Silverwater and we are unsure if we would stay again.

Great holiday destination. It's especially affordable if it's during the weekday. My kids really enjoyed the pool, the play area and the 2 bedroom apartment we stayed in. It's clean, fully equipped with beautiful views.

Nice resort and great layout. Plenty for kids to do. They had the big function room playing the afl Grand Final which was a bonus. Room was also nice and clean, self contained apartment, although had troubles with the stove top. All up great place to stay at with the family!

Lovely place. Went there last winter but still enjoyed the place. Had buffet breakfast which served heaps of food, bubba enjoyed the playground and trampoline, and I think each room has their own outdoor barbeque. Their indoor pool was beautiful even on winter. I bet their outdoor pool looks amazing this summer. Purchase a voucher and I'd say it was really worth the money. You wont even feel you paid for your stay at a discounted price. We even had wine and chocolate as a welcome treat. Lovely view, lovely place. Perfect for families with kids. Will definitely come back.

Fantastic service from staff. Good breakfast buffet and extremely kid friendly. Lovely location that lets you see the ocean. We used their tennis court (borrow the racquets and balls from reception) and the spa. Would have given 5 stars but the spa needs to be altered a bit… it's like a white water rafting experience where you get punched in the face. We had to cower over one side.

Nice view from our hillside room. Rooms were very clean as tidy. The kids really enjoyed the jumping pillow and pool. Our dinner at the restaurant was too everyone's liking. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Apartment was very nice and clean. Breakfast was good. Fun playgroud and indoor pool available for kids.

Rooms are nice but maybe a little outdated. Buffet breakfast not fresh even though we arrived 20mins after breakfast began. Hotel and surrounds very pretty. Staff were helpful. For the price maybe could be a bit better but not bad.

Fantastic resort. Family friendly. Close to all of the places you can visit.

Excellent condition rooms and facilities. Great for families with most rooms facing into the central park. Only complaint (for lack of a softer word) was the restaurant, lacked choice and was expensive. Bar was under staffed for happy hour however staff were very friendly.

Great facilities and location, with great dining and views. The arcade games for the kids are a bit dodgy though, the shoot em up game ate my money which was frustrating.

Attended a wedding. Grounds & facilities looked amazing. Unfortunately catering & bar was significantly under staffed resulting in increased wait times (cold food etc)

Just been to a training courses at Silverwater & found it over priced, in room extra charge for leaving dirty dishes $50 Food cold, uncooked chicken, 1 small cake of soap, some rooms had no milk or soap Would I go back no To over priced for what you get.

Great location but the service is very poor from the restaurant and concierge.

Rude staff! By one & only "Jessica" front desk assistant, There was no courtesy calls (she wants me check out right now, coz there is a urgent room requirement) There was no phone manners, when ever she picks up the call. Unfortunately I gotta put up with this lady all the time. The remaining staff was outstanding.

Great location, requested for an ocean view and was given a room with one. Price is reasonable. The quality of everything was definitely better than expected. Quite spacious, clean, breakfast was pretty good, overall very satisfied. Highly recommend for couples and families with kids!

Facilities were good and the 1 bedroom apartment well equipped, maintained and clean. A couple of negatives — the couch was very uncomfortable and definitely put me off lounging around. Also a light directly outside the bedroom made it almost impossible to sleep. If you are the type of person that likes a bit of darkness for sleep then request a bedroom which is not directly near the resort pathways.

We come here annually for about 3 years now. We absolutely love the service, the rooms, foods and facilities here. The view — a bonus. We always look forward to coming here every year. And always leave happy and relaxed.

Silverwater resort was great. Helpful and friendly staff. Great food at the restaurant. Good location. Rooms were very comfortable.

One of the more expensive, but better run resorts near Phillip Island. Rooms were clean and spacious. Bed was a little too hard for my liking. Balcony had an excellent view. However the nights were very windy and the sound of the trees kept us up all night.

Never, ever, ever will I stay with these people… I didn't even manage to get a booking with the Groupon voucher we were given for Christmas. The staff at reception were not helpful in any way at all and I found them quite rude to be honest. I understand that a groupon voucher only offers me particular dates but when I got stuck and had not many dates available the staff were not willing to assist in any way, I know there was other rooms available on the dates I needed but they were not willing to open them up and basically said its bad luck and ill have to find some other dates. The place looks beautiful on paper but the reception staff certainly let them down on service. Very, very dissapointed!

Very expensive, costed $1500 for 3 nights in a 2 bedroom apartment. Room had a very uncomfortable bed, bad couch and not many channels on tv. The resort is very kid friendly has lots of facilities but not really for teenagers. They charged $3.50 for a newspaper which is beyond me. Lastly the apartment doesn't get serviced which is ist plain lazy.

Beautiful resort! Lots of space, lots of facilities, and activities to do. I do wish that the resort was on Phillip Island itself though, that's its main downfall. Make sure you ask for a room with a view though when you book, there's lots of rooms without views!

Room layout good but needs repair. Numerous problems and really expensive for so much maintenance. Walls, carpets filthy, had to clean chairs ourselves. Sliding door, curtains outdoor walkway lights not working resulting in a twisted ankle.

Silverwater Resort is conveniently located to the attractions of Phillip Island. The units are nice and modern and self contained. Great location for kids with lots of activities for them. Only let down was poor internet access and the beds are a little too firm.

• The food is really good, and you expect for what you pay. • Internet is very slow. Would have liked to have got some Netflix while on break. Instructions were wrong to get on. • Hard bed, walked away with a sore back. • Front desk is poorly manned. • Did not know couch was a fold out bed — there was no instructions.

We went there on a Sunday night for dinner. The food was amazing. Highly recommended.

We needed a break, my partner & I, so decided to take up the Luxury Escape offer for 2 nights. The staff where so helpful with reservation. Then when we arrived a bit earlier we got a lovely ground floor 1bedroom apartment. The lady at the front desk, Zek was just fantastic, friendly & helpful. We could see the beach from our livingroom and it was fairly quiet. Decided to stay an extra night & had the most wonderful Birthday dinner. Cured duck breast confit leg, and an incredible dessert, smoked chocolate fondant! My Partners was equally delicious. Complimented with some lovely wine succested by the waiter, who had really good knowledge. I am a bit of a food connoisseur, so I was in heaven. Had such a relaxing stay, back to work, but will come back again, even we are less then an hour from home, it felt like we where far away.

Friendly staff that went out of their way to accommodate any request. Great rooms with view of the ocean. Great chef that was happy to alter his menu to provide food allergy friendly options for our kids. Would definitely visit again.

All I asked for when booking was a nice view and internet — I got neither. At $300 a night the bathroom floors were dirty with the previous occupants hair everywhere. The washer/dryer took all day to do a load. Didn't sleep the five nights there as the bed was horribly hard not to mention short sheeted. The BBQ balcony overlooked the carpark/bins and the outdoor seating was through the apartment on some tiny balcony on the other side. The carpets were stained and the lounges contained rice bubbles. Our family holiday that we were all excited to be going on to see penguins nine hours drive from home was a complete disaster concerning accommodation and made mum cry.

Great facilities, modern and spacious room but was disappointed with the state of bathroom; it wasn't very clean, mould growing on the shower tiles. Someone need to get in there and give the whole bathroom a good scrubbing.

Nice modern room with plenty of features. Great heating and cooling setup, inbuilt dishwasher and microwave, TV in bedroom, FOX8 and a couple movie channels also. The wireless internet is horrible, you can't stay connected for no longer then a few minutes, DSL port is provided but does not work. BYO internet! Also the pullout couches need to be replaced. It is not possible to sit on them without sinking to the floor.

Good accommodation but food wasnt that good. They charge good money but food was not up to the mark. Breakfast wasnt as good as it used to be. Please fix your security system. Door dont open before atleast 3 attempts.

The apartment and facilities were good however the washing machine did not work. We called reception and they said that they would send someone over. Later that day no body came to see the problem so we called reception again and they said that they forgot and would send someone. Eventually they sent one guy to make a note of the issue and then another guy to do same but did not send anyone to repair it. In the meantime my partner spent two hours of our holiday draining water from the washing machine and repaired it himself. I had a very young child with me and I desperately needed to wash her clothes. Very annoying.
