Excellent hotel. We stayed in a club king room and we were not disappointed. Large room with space to stretch out and relax. Staff is friendly and accommodative. The small drawback is that the location, while centrally located, is a little bit of a further walk than desirable to restaurants and shops. There is a tram stop very close by and obviously you can cab it anywhere you'd like.

Didn't stay the night. Had a High Tea function. Staff so polite and lovely. Food great. Valet was pretty cool too as not having to worry about parking! Definitely have to come back!

I absolutely loved it here. We stayed 3 nights and had such a wonderful time! The rooms were clean, staff were super polite and friendly (especially Mr Walker! ), and the buffet breakfast was so delicious! The gym also looked really wonderful, there were machines and weights and an indoor pool! I will definitely be staying here again when we visit Melbourne.

I loved my stay here. The staff in this luxury hotel went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The room was nice and the service overally was fantastic. Be sure to book breakfast with your stay because the Radii was amazing. This place offers all the amenities that a 5 star hotel should. If you are going to stay in the Melbourne CBD I recommend this place.

5 Star service from the moment of arrival. The bell staff was outstanding, effcient, friendlt and very helpful. Couldn't have wished for better service from these guys. The same accounts for the Front Office team. Strong name recognition and very positive customer attitude and natural appeal. Although not recently refurbished the rooms fit the PH style and amenities are high quality as usual. Gym and pool are good too and not crowded in comparison to some other Melbourne hotels. Close to green areas and easy walking distance to downtown shopping. Would come back anytime — thank you and I had a very pleasant stay with you guys.

Best hotel in Melbourne! Staff are all of the highest level. Rooms are beautiful. Ballroom is the best going around. Food is high class. Breakfast is the best. Beer is cold. Highly recommend. I will be back time after time.

Top situated hotel right near the city centre and at the same time located at a park. Very friendly staff and always consistent quality over the years. Ideal starting point to explore the city — whether shopping, jogging, going out or playing tennis are very good location. Only the breakfast was not convincing for the price of almost 30 euros.

Initially booked for a twin suite but unfortunately they only have single beds in a twin configuration. Otherwise fantastic hotel and service. Decor starting to show its age for a hotel of this caliber and price range. Located a short stroll away from the action in the city (which I personally prefer) but for some maybe a taxi or an uber is required. All in all, consistently solid experience each stay. P. S if you are averse to babies, make sure you ask which floor all the new mothers are booked on and perhaps be moved to another floor. Seems the hotel has an agreement with a local hospital to host new mothers and their babies.

Stayed at Park Hyatt 3yrs ago, " not a great experience". Reluctantly thought l would give them another try. Glad l did! Service was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble for them, they were more than happy go that extra mile and did it with a smile. Prices were reasonable and felt money well spent. Highly recommend.

Just an unbelievable hotel. Was upgraded to the diplomatic suite. Amazing room. Lovely staff. Great breakfast. They did forget to mention an $80 credit to the room until we left but it certainly didn't detract from what a lovely hotel this is and how great the staff are. They are so professional. They lounge was brilliant. Usually stay as a Ambassador at the intercontinental, buying future will always stay at the Hyatt. Thank you.

An amazing place! The pool/spa reminds me of the Prefect’s bathroom in Hogwarts. I seriously expected Moaning Mertyl to appear at any minute and interrupt me from enjoying the lovely view of an old church from the spa. The rooms are also amazing and they gave us complementary macaroons and a big bunch of flowers because it was our anniversary. If you’re going for no particular reason, tell them it’s your anniversary anyway! The restaurant looks nice, but is only suitable if you’ve just robbed a bank. Fortunately they have so many places to choose from only a walk away. Not to mention Fitzroy gardens are just across the road and also nice to visit. So far, this is my fave hotel in Melbourne.

It's a solid 4 star hotel — very nice, but not as nice as the pictures make it look. We actually stayed in two different rooms, and for our longer stay I think we were in a disability room, which was fine, but just different. The food at the restaurants were really good, and it is very centrally located.

High end luxury hotel. Excellent facilities and staff. Food from room service was a little greasy, which shouldn't be the case when you are paying $38 for a burger and $33 for a club sandwich! The room itself though was very luxurious, spacious and well appointed and a pleasant place to spend time.

The hotel's staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and quiet, no city noise. The location is excellent and in walking distance of many sights, restaurants, bars and shops.

I came here for a work function. The venue is absolutely spectacular and staff provided exception service. The food was beautifully presented and the vegetarian option was delicious and so were the cocktails. You will leave here feeling like a million bucks!

Upgraded here from St Vincents Private after having our second child. From the driver, to the attentive front desk staff, this hotel has a wonderful feel to it. Great to see the lighting and electrics has had an upgrade including USB ports near bed. Have already sampled the food and it’s of a high standard. Rooms feel comforting, would pick this over the other majors in Melbourne.

My favourite hotel in Melbourne. Their ballroom is rivalled only by the Grand Hyatt, a sister hotel, also in Melbourne. Across the Rd from St Patrick's Cathedral and on the edge of the Central Business District. The grand staircase down to the function rooms is stunning and opulent, filled with artworks, glowing wood and marble. Welcoming and intimate without feeling cramped with a gold leaf ceiling overhead. Even the doors to the ballroom are amazing pieces of architecture. The staff are warm and friendly and the food served at functions is eye-catching. Everything about the hotel reeks luxury and opulence without being garish. Very classy place!

This is our favourite hotel in Melbourne for many reasons: Welcoming, professional service right from the efficient check in and check out, to housekeeping and in-room dining. This is a classy, charming hotel in a quiet pocket of the city with magnificent views! All the meals we’ve had were well presented an delicious. The rooms are clean, comfortable and mostly luxurious with great quality amenities. This is the perfect hotel for a quiet weekend away, some romantic pampering or for business travellers who want the convenience of being close to the city centre, yet enjoy the peace and tranquility that is the Park Hyatt.

Second stay here, this time as a guest in one of their maternity rooms. The location is great. The rooms are fantastic though the style is dated. We used room service for every meal and the food was excellent. Would easily return here again in the future.

Staff were very polite. Food was good. The location is very easy to get to and very classy Right next to parliament station it's very convenient.

As I stayed at the Park Hyatt Melbourne I noticed that the location was absolutely amazing. You have the st. Patrick's cathedral pretty much right across which was just really good just to go visit as it was very close to the Park Hyatt. And also the rooms were very nice as it was spacious to move around. Loved the rooms and loved the service. Would definitely come back and stay again at the Park Hyatt.

Really good hotel and staff. Clean room, good food and sport equipment with 25m swimming pool. Ideal location.

Lovely place to have a function. Everything is beautifully set up and staff well trained. Food was slightly off the standard but probably because it is hard to cook fish or lamb to perfection for a big group.

The staff were the perfect balance of being unobtrusive and warmly polite and were able to help assist us with anything without hesitation. The gymnasium and pool room were of high quality and were a pleasant surprise upon arrival. The gym itself was as adequate as you're typical local gym albeit more quiet. The pool room had multiple spas and a lap pool decorated with an exotic aesthetic. This was complimented by the saunas and steam room. The only issue we had was the lack of a unisex sauna to share the experience with my partner, although the rest of our experience in the grandeur of Park Hyatt Hotel, allows me to overlook this complaint quite easily. Thank you Park Hyatt for making our four year anniversary a momentous one!

Can't thank the team enough especially Darcy our wedding coordinator for making our special day the best day ever. We loved every minute of the reception and wish it could have gone longer. Our wedding was in the Trilogy room and was beautiful. Can't recommend high enough. Rooms also lovely for accommodation.

We stayed at Park Hyatt Melbourne for 5 nights and 6 days. As always, compared to its cousin Hotel, Grand Hyatt, Park is always on the upper scale in terms of luxury and elegance. The moment you enter the Lobby, you will be refreshed with a rosy aroma and the vast and magnificent interior design. The staff were very friendly and check-in was very efficient. We were shown to our room, which was the Park Deluxe King Spa with an amazing view of St. Patrick's Cathedral (you can opt for the Gardens or the City as well). The spa tub was at the corner with a TV and bath salts were provided. The shower next to it occupied a large space (to be ideal for couples) but the only disappointment was the lack of a Rain Shower. The bed was very soft and cozy, almost as comparable as Westin's famous Heavenly Mattress. On our first night, a bottle of fine Italian red wine and a chocolate have been prepared on the table and on the last night, a thank you note from the Manager. We enjoyed our stay, not only because of the design and comfort at the 5-star Hotel, but also the Friendliness of the staff and the very small details they put in their efforts for.

Stayed here on our wedding night, with a package that included a bottle of champagne and breakfast in bed. We were upgraded to a suite for free and it was the perfect end to a perfect day. Hotel is absolutely gorgeous and staff were fantastic. Would highly recommend for a special occasion.

The best hotel I have ever stayed in. I've tried a few 5* in Melbourne and Sydney and the Park Hyatt Melbourne takes the cake. The size of the room, ease of finding lights, warmth in all rooms including the toilet, free slippers, free comb delivered after I left mine at home, comfort of bed and pillow, TV in bathroom… all just heavenly. Not cheap however absolutely worth it.

The service was exceptional by all persons that we cam in contact with especially Jerren Heng who greeted us at reception on our arrival . He had all the answers to our questions and nothing was too difficult. Unfortunately our room was hot and unable to turn it down 24* without being able to open a window slightly was difficult for sleeping. In conditions like that I would have only slept with a sheet over me but the doona was not separate from the sheets we slept with bodies uncovered mosy of the night. Only one lounge chair to sit in , would have been good to have a two seater couch in the room as there was plenty of room available. Other than the perfect attitude of the staff I would have to really consider whether it is worthwhile to stay again just to have a sleepless night. Mike & Alex.

We stayed in the king spa room. Magnificent views, comfortable bedding, clean, friendly service. But… Pillows were too soft and desk chair was uncomfortable. Overall a great stay.

Stayed for 3 nights on holidaying Melbourne. The check-in process was not great. We arrived early and wanted to drop our bags off at the room. We were told quite rudely that a room was not available, but would be contacted when it was ready. We were never contacted, but room was ready when we returned in the evening. The rest of stay was good. The room is large and comfortable and the other front desk people were very helpful.

I had a breakfast here hosted by Vicsuper for International Women's day and the venue was beautiful. The service was professional and the food was delicious. I would definitely come back again!

The Wearable Tech In Sport conference at Park Hyatt was well run, with facilities and catering both being great quality. Staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were well l maintained.

Lobby Lounge is an elegant but accessible oasis of respite for those with a busy schedule. Perfect for a tete-a-tete or a casual busy meeting.

We stayed at the Park Hyatt Melbourne from 28 August to 31 August 2015 for our wedding at the Melbourne Zoo and booked two rooms. From the moment we entered nothing was too difficult and was also accommodating to our wedding suppliers, who needed to come to the hotel. A big thank you for making the most important weekend of our lives even more memorable with our beautiful stay. The special touch on the Friday afternoon to our room of a bottle of sparkling wine and macoroons was lovely and proved why we decided to stay at the Park Hyatt. Thank you from Mr and Mrs Bailey.

Beautiful hotel, lobby is well designed with lots of space. Rooms have great views over parkland and are very nice. Service is the same as most 5 star hotels.

Was there for a function and the presentation and staff were incredible. Everything ran smoothly, the food was tasty and well presented too. Would definitely recommend them if you have a gathering of any size to organise.

We stayed at the Park Hyatt to celebrate our anniversary. It was amazing. The staff were all so lovely, helpful and professional. We ordered room service for dinner and breakfast and couldn't fault it. Especially breakfast… it was divine! Highly recommend. It's an expensive stay but worth every sent.

I recently, for my 60th Birthday, my family and friends joined me at the Park Hyatt for High Tea. Not usually in my makeup to comment on these kind of experiences, I had to break with tradition not comment on my experience. It was excellent! Firstly please note having "tried out" their High Tea earlier in the week (and found it better than most) — upon booking the function for Sunday, I made a passing note to the manager regarding their 'scones' that although they were nice they looked and tasted like sweet bread, and should (if the chef was so inclined) review his/her knowledge of scones. I was absolutely floored when the scones presented on Sunday were not only delicious but looked and presented like true scones. The Chef took my suggested and acted on it! Truly remarkable! The day was wonderful, family and friends remarked on the food, the staff (professional, personable, friendly and helpful in every way) were a credit to the Hotel and some have not been converted to the elegance and pleasure of a true high tea. Absolutely disgusting treatment of the guests, we were here during the stay of Real Madrid and the hotel staff were treating the Real Madrid players with more care. I'm currently in the hotel room on my last night here before I travel back to Sydney and the hotel staff would not let us in the lobby, even when we were eating there we were constantly harassed and disturbed by staff. I'm paying $650 a night to sit in my hotel room trapped with the security right up our a**es. We were accused of disturbing other guests which were the players, but in actual fact we didn't approach the players unless they gestured to us. And I would 110% rate less than half a star and not recommend this to anyone.

Worst staff, rude and un hospitality like behaviour. We stayed when Real Madrid was here as well. Even after paying 500$ half of the hotel was reserved for that Madrid team and we had so many restrictions. Tennis court closed, u cant go to level 5 below lobby bcoz madrid players dont want you 2… disgraceful behaviour.

What an awesome experience. Amazing hotel and staff could not do enough especially the breaky crew. Very classy room with real coffee machine, ammenaties, spacious rooms, huge bathroom. Very impressed hence bothering to write a review. Would highly recommend.

What a beautiful hotel! The rooms were extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was amazing! The staff were extremely efficient and polite. Our stay wasn't cheap, but I felt we got excellent value for money, especially when using the beautiful gym and swimming pool facilities. Thank you for a lovely family break :).

I've stayed at the Park Hyatt for a long time, I'd recommend it as the best place to stay in Melbourne. Pros: — It's in the perfect location. It's at the Parliament end of the CBD (with more bars and cafes) and close to Fitzroy. Definitely worth walking through Carlton Gardens to get to Fitzroy — Their rewards program is really great value (and much better than the alternative of earning Qantas Frequent Flyer points) — They have a lot of items you can borrow / have (complimentary) if you forget something, in addition to your normal toiletries e. G. IPhone charger, makeup remover wipes, nail polish remover wipes, hairbrush etc. — The service is amazing, you'll be well looked after — Perfectly clean — Very big rooms — Room service is pretty good value — If that all wasn't enough, there's a TV next to the spa — Nice gym and spa — Some rooms have a great view of the city, some others have a balcony you can use (Small) cons: — Power points are far from the bed, if you need to ask for an extension cord — Some people don't like the style of decor.

Amazing conference and function rooms — I have attended for Christmas parties, AGM's and medical conferences, all of which displayed a touch of class and ran smoothly. The pasta varieties served are particularly brilliant.

We recently had an amazing weekend at the Park Hyatt. We were celebrating, so we splurged to get the club spa room and it was worth it! The hotel staff made sure we got a room with a spa tub on request, as well as at the club level for access to the lounge. The room was absolutely beautiful with an incredible view. The room was clean and comfortable, not feeling stuffy or like things were too nice to sit on like some places. We were greeted in the room by a bottle of champagne, a box of nice chocolates and a personalized card on the table. The staff at this hotel are truly amazing. They are helpful and kind without being obtrusive. The food here was amazing. We also really enjoyed the lounge access that came with the room. The appetizers were very good, while the liquor was bottom shelf, it was still included in the price and appreciated! If anyone goes when the weather is nice, we highly recommend ordering the room services picnic basket. It comes fully packed with great food, cutlery and drinks and it's nice to be able to walk to the park to sit and eat. We didn't eat at the Raadi but the bar in the hotel was very good and the staff were great there as well, as was the small lounge in the lobby where you can have tea. Overall, if you want good value for your money (Even when spending a lot of it) This is definitely one of the places to go.

12 years in a row staying here and they never miss a beat. Nicest, most responsive staff. Most beautiful concierge lounge. Great exercise/ health club. Wonderful property and only one I ever stayed in on my trips to Melbourne.
