Melbourne Hotels near Old Treasury Building

Clean, efficient, friendly staff, breakfast buffet plenty. Room very nice; Wi-Fi worked well. Shower and bathroom modern and with good water pressure.

Loved it! Exceptional service! We have stayed here several times, it is our go to place in Melbourne. As a gold Accor Member you got early/late check-out, bottle of wine and chocolates at Easter!

I would 100% stay here again. Rooms were clean and tidy. For a hotel bed it was not bad whatsoever. And to cap it off the food was amazing.

I had an incredibly comfortable stay here. The rooms are good size, well equipped, clean and new. Ironing boards, large soft towels, nice bathroom products.

The room looked different and cool at the same time! The place looks tired though and in need of a bit of TLC! Bathroom small with smallest sink ever! Beds a little too soft!

Amazing staff. Super friendly and helpful amazing cute vibes. Bed and bathroom tad off point but the staff made up for it. Amazing stay. Cute and on point. Staff biggest draw card.

We have just had another very nice week at the Sebel.
It is a perfect spot for our needs when we spend time in town.

Exceptional Service and a Perfect Get-Together!
We recently hosted a small get-together at The Sebel Melbourne Flinders Lane, and the experience was absolutely fantastic.

This was my second stay at Lanson Place my first was just after they first opened, for this trip I had originally booked elsewhere however a few weeks out from my trip I recalled my previous stay at

We stayed here for the Easter long weekend and loved this hotel! Staff were friendly, room was super clean and quiet and the hotel is nicely styled.

Great location for the conference that was held there. The park next door is absolutely beautiful. The room was clean and comfortable, though I would have loved a bath. The staff were very friendly.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Pullman East Melbourne. One of the highlights was the excellent pre-stay communication.

Loved staying here the bed was so comfy, view was great. We had a standard king room. Buffet breakfast was delicious so many choices, we went at 8am so we didnt have to wait.

I haven't tried a ton of hotels in Melbourne, but once I got to the Langham I didn't see any need to look elsewhere.

The location is great. Access to the Collins St tram is on the corner, all the fancy shops and theatres are in the doorstop and access to some of the best restaurants and cafes on Flinders Lane.

I recently celebrated my birthday with High Tea at the Westin Melbourne, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish.

I just love this hotel. It is in the best location amongst all the good restaurants; bars and theatres. Everything is so easy to get to, and the rooms are so functional and stylish.

Gorgeous boutique hotel in a great location close to so many cute restaurants and bars, we really enjoyed our weekend at the Lancemore Crossley. Lovely front desk staff too.

Bonjour Sofitel Melbourne.
My wife and I stayed from 27 August to 1 September to celebrate my 59th birthday. We were so happy to be back after 40th years :)
We enjoyed every moment at sofitel.

The hotel is brilliantly located, walking distance to shopping and cultural attractions as well as to lovely gardens. The staff were all friendly, very helpful and professional.

We found hotel easily, we'll sign posted from both streets. We arrived early expecting to drop off luggage, but the lovely check in staff found us a room available.

Pretty new hotel and very basic.
Room was clean but small.
Breakfast was nice but had less options than I expected. By expected, I mean I thought there would be hash browns.

A lovely clean and well appointed 3 bedroom apartment for 6 girlfriends spending the weekend in the city. Relatively comfortable beds. 3 toilets and 2 bathrooms were great.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Quest apartments Southbank. The room was lovely, very clean, comfortable and plenty of space in our 2 bedroom apartment with a fully equipped kitchen.

We had a wonderful stay for a conference. Lovely check-in staff, friendly wait staff and delicious breakfast. The rooms are recently renovated and are very modern.

🛌 🌟 What a gem of a find in a city of big hotel chains. It’s the attention to the small details and the exceptional customer service that make all the different.

This was our repeat stay (4th time), and once again it reinforced why this has become our default accommodation whenever we visit Melbourne.

We had a wonderful stay at Manta Hotel. The rooms, location, and overall experience were excellent, and the staff were friendly.
The only disappointment was breakfast.

This hotel was close to mcg, was very comfortable and the staff were great. Loved the coffee pod machine and been able to cast on to our Stan account from our phone to watch the rugby.

For an overnight stay close to the city this is the place to stay.
Imogen is professional and courteous and genuinely friendly. It was so nice to deal with someone who genuinely enjoys their job🙂.

Outstanding experience, the best in Australia, staff up there with HK standards.
Had a fantastic stay at this hotel.

Hotel Indigo was an absolutely fabulous find, perfectly located in the CBD, between the Bourke st Mall and Little Collins Street.

We recently stayed for one night in a 1 King Room.
The location is truly fantastic. The hotel is situated directly opposite Flinders Street Station, making it incredibly easy to navigate Melbourne.

Got a super deal booking online with parking, breakfast and a possible late check out included for the same price as without any of them. Parking is about 150m down the road.

I don't even know where to begin. We had our wedding reception at QT on the 10th July in their Premiere room and it couldn't have been more perfect.

Checked in for 3 nights, the room was a well appointed King Room and everything we needed was present and available. The finishes are quality and the amenities are high end and as expected.

I recently stayed here and experienced a mix of fantastic hotel features alongside some frustrating operational lapses.

Our wedding anniversay trip to Melbourne was important to us, so we spent substantial amount of time researching 4-star plus hotels.

Stayed 3 nights. Great place, cosy, good beds, plenty of seats in lounge area, kitchen table & chairs, bathroom & laundry with dryer & washing machine. Lift to all floors. Free parking.

Amazing location and nice / clean a rooms. Only positive to say.

I just stayed at Grand Chancellor for the better part of 5 weeks as I was in the city for work purposes. Honestly — it was a great experience.

Great location. Happy friendly staff. Spacious rooms. Hot showers in teh morning with great water pressure. Large selection of hot and cold buffet breakfast options. Comfy beds.

Overall, a wonderful hotel. Rooms were great, nice spa, great facilities, scrumptious breakfast and well located for walking around central Melbourne!

We booked dog friendly room. Here is like is the only place in cbd that not discriminate dog by their weight. It my birthday and my dog birthday so my partner want to spoiled us. What a right choice.

Fabulous location in the heart of Collingwood. Great Cafe South of Johnson right next door and wonderful eateries all around.

A groovy accommodation option for the no-nonsense traveller. If you’re looking for a comfortable and relaxed place for a short stay, this place ticks all the boxes.

Stayed for long weekend while in Melbourne recently, great friendly place with super helpful staff.

Loved the room layout the thoughtful planning of the lighting in the room and bathroom. Mini bar offerings are above average. Lovely soap. Smart TV in room. Loved the breakfast at cafe downstairs.

A very nice and well located hotel at the Paris end of Melbourne. Atmosphere is one of quiet peaceful rest, definitely a more boutique kind of hotel vibe, though it is still pretty big.

My husband and I stayed at the Sheraton Melbourne last week while on our honeymoon, and we could not have been happier with our experience.
