We had a very enjoyable stay at this motel. Des and Mandy went above and beyond and could not have been more helpful. The function we attended there went off smoothly and every had a great time.

Great meals and freindly staff.

Nice comfortable room, friendly reception staff who left the keys out for us when we arrived late and left the heater on for us too. Price includes a reasonable choice of breads and cereals in the restaurant for breakfast.

OK for a quick stay. They have some cereal breakfast as well, free of charge. We missed that one.

Very good for price, clean and comfortable, very close to CBD and easy to get to, they say free wify but could not sign into it so no wify.

Very good for the money we paid for the night. However, heating/cooling arrangement is very noisy and hopeless. Wi-fi is practically nonexistent. Otherwise, location is good and staff are very friendly.

Stayed at upstairs room 13. The restaurant was closed for a private function. It’s a heaven for people who loves retro 70’s stuff (see the photo) Not very functional for example, there is hot and cold tap on the sinks, it’s hot or cold you can’t mix them, freeze or burn lol. Thin walls and our bed was almost right in front of the room entry door, I’m not a heavy sleeper and I woke up every time there is someone walking on the hall, closing room doors, turn on the tap in the next room (loud noise) etc. TV Remote control didn’t work. No aircon, only a wall heater. Can’t say spotless clean but we paid a reasonable price during a busy long weekend, would really pay extra for a better place if I’d know it is that bad. Friendly and helpful staff though.

We had the best time 4 nights over Easter, party of 14 were well looked after for breakfast, and nothing was to hard for Mick and Faye to make sure we were comfortable, they were so friendly and helpful they even share there own personal things with us and to make sure we had somewhere to get together at night. Would highly recommend this motel and would stay here gain.

Easy to find and get to. Clean and well presented. Decor is a little dated but functional. Service was fantastic with a very late check in and early checkout.

Rooms have reasonable facilities, but are VERY dated. Wi-fi and breakfast are included in room price.

I Have been here around 12 times now. The staff are always friendly, rooms are always clean, Comfy bed, and great showers! Well priced and I’ll always keep staying here when I’m passing through!

Our pit stop to travel between Melbourne and Adelaide. The settings are quite old, but the room has everything to cover basic necessity and friendly $. The staff / manager was helpful and kind, he upgraded our room when we visited the second time. We didn't get a chance to check out the surrounding area, we had take aways and heat them up with the room's microwave.

The Best Westlander Motor Inn was awesome in my opinion because I'm 16 and love all the older retro stuff. The room we stayed in was pretty 70's I think and had everything we needed except a few more power points would be nice (I guess you didn't need as many power points back then because mobile phones weren't a thing) but otherwise everything was there, a black and Decker microwave, a half height fridge (forgot make) and a telephone from the 70's or 80's or at least it looked something like that. There was also a small wall mounted aircon unit that worked well and an old radio/digital clock that to me seemed night rider style (I couldn't get the radio to work but did get the time set correctly. The bathroom was incredible… ly 70's with wallpaper instead of tiles, a pink vanity and small shower with each wall of tiles being a different colour, the room I stayed in had 2 queen beds and 1 king single a long low wall mounted bench and 5 chairs that looked like the kind you would find in an older hospital waiting room also the room was upstairs. Overall great experience I would certainly go there again and in my opinion it's better than the intercontinental in Sydney but im into the retro and older stuff so…

Squishy, a rough night, but good enough for a sleep between Adelaide and Melbourne. Staff were friendly.

Wedding. Great venue to have a wedding in its restaurant. Plenty of room… well lit area. Guest can stay at motel.

We were upgraded to a room tucked away at the end of the complex. It was quiet and very comfortable. The complimentary continental breakfast was most welcome and had plenty to set you up for the day ahead.

Managers are very friendly and informative. Rooms are very clean, modern and have everything you need. I would definately stay there again.

My partner and I have stayed here twice on our travels between Adelaide and Melbourne. The owners are so accommodating and friendly. Clean and comfortable with a good breakfast in the morning before we set off again. We will be staying here from now on. Thank you for your hospitality! :)

I would recommend this motel. It is run by lovely friendly staff. The rooms are very clean. The food was lovely. And it is right on the highway. I will definitely stay here again…
