Stayed for 3 nights. Rooms are dated but comfortable. One of the heaters in our cottage didn't work. One of the other cottages wood fire didn't clear the smoke out correctly so kept hearing their smoke alarm going off late at night. Was told at 7pm on the Friday night to keep the noise down as our music was bothering some campervans that had just arrived that day. Was then woken up early the next morning by the campervans being noisey. Hopefully the new owners fix the issues because it really is a nice spot but current owners only seam to be interested in squeezing in the caravans to get the most $$.
We used this waypoint as a base for exploring the Tasman Peninsula. The owners Marge and Colin run a well laid out, well presented and maintained campground. It certainly met all of our requirements and expectations. Real value for money. The hidden gem being the museum they have established on the property. A must see if staying or passing this way. Colin’s passion and detail for local history oozes from each display.

This is wonderful value and enjoyment. Quaint, clean, and comfortable with a really pleasant ambience. Tasteful decor and a well-stocked fireplace was the icing on the cake. We will stay again when in the region.
