Thank you so much John for a wonderful stay. Clean & spacious, a beautiful setting and more provided than I ever would have expected… anything we could think of was here! The wood fire is wonderful for the cool nights, the beds are amazingly comfortable and the breakfast basket provided was such a thoughtful touch, the Arnott's Cream bickies in the cupboard were a welcomed surprise with a cup of tea. Highly recommended and will tell all of my friends. A wonderful stay ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Always enjoy our stay at Sandpiper Cottages. Annette & John are friendly, obliging and welcome you on arrival with a generous breakfast hamper. The cottages are well equipped, clean, warm and comfy with lots of little extras. A short walk from your cottage is beautiful Denison Beach where you can view amazing sunsets and if up early enough sunrise. Best dog friendly accommodation in Tassie.

Amazing well worth the stay. Beach access amazing. Shed with beach chairs umbrellas and bogey boards. Lovely accommodation. Breakfast hamper delightful. Loved every minute. Bliss🌊

Beautiful space. Very comfortable and warm. Great kitchen facilities and equipment. Fresh coffee. Beautiful long beach practically empty 2 seconds from the cabins. Dog friendly.

Relaxing accommodation right on the beach. Lovely to hear the waves & see the ocean from within a comfortable large warm beach house.

Very roomy, underfloor haeting, beach view and a quick walk through a track to the beach. Spectacular sunrise, all needs catered for including a welcome pack of bread, cereal, milk, fresh eggs, jams. We also had biscuits, coffee, teas, full kitchen and washing machine. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend. Great host with gorgeous friendly pooches. Couldn't praise highly enough. Perfect!

Such a fantastic place to stay. Peaceful location, pristine beach and beautiful gardens. We loved the welcoming and spacious cottage. It had everything we needed and the breakfast hamper was great! We wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

Peace and quiet, wonderful amenities, birds and frogs singing, lovely breakfast hamper, comfortable and warm lodgings in the most beautiful of locations. The kids had a blast. Lovely to hear the roar of the ocean as you drift off to sleep.

Lacks nothing and the hosts are amazing. Nothing too much trouble. Accommodation beautifully decorated and well equipped. Beautiful beach a couple of minutes walk away. Definitely will return to this little piece of paradise.

We had a really relaxing time thank you John you were very helpful and even offered us an extended check out. We can not wait to return to the Beach house in January. So great being able to bring our dog along he had a ball too.

John and Annette are great hosts. Awesome location and accommodation.

We had a great stay at the beach house in February. It was really spacious & clean & there was ample room for our family of 5. I loved waking up each day to see the beach outside the window. It was also a great location to see parts of the east coast such as Bay of Fires & Wineglass Bay. John’s suggestion to visit the nearby swimming hole at the National Park was a highlight of our trip, the short walk was worth it. A lively place to stay.

Lovely cottages kept very clean and with all the amenities we needed. Also very well insulated, we visited during winter and had no trouble keeping the place warm. The native gardens were well designed to increase privacy, the host was very attentive.

Cosy comfortable & spacious cottage, walk to the beach, quiet, Annette & John are so friendly and helpful. One of the best places to stay in Tasmania.

A lovely accommodation next to the beach and close to Douglas Apsley National Park. I like how they had mini beach boxes with surfboards so we could surf in the water.

A great place for a family vacation. The cottage was clean and well-cared for. Private beach just over the dune. Short drive to Bicheno for the blowhole and restaurants.

What a wonderful place to get away from it all. I may appear biased, as John and Annette have been dear friends of ours for many years, but it is because of the people they are, and their passion for life and everything nature has to offer, that I am more than happy to give Sandpiper the 5 star review it, and its wonderful proprietors, deserves. John and Annette have established a wonderful, idyllic life for themselves and, lucky for the rest of us, are willing to share it. We'll be back, that's for sure.

Beautiful cabin, lovely owners and an amazing private beach 2 minutes walk away.

We came in winter it was magic. Lots of animals at dusk. What seemed like our own private beach. The breakfast pack included was perfect with fresh eggs from the chickens on site and cereal bread and spreads. The cottage was clean and spacious. I will certainly be returning.

Far from the maddening crowd. Every little thing laid on for the guests. Cosy wood heater. Comfortable bed. As Arnie said, "I'll be back. "

Such a fantastic place to stay. Beautiful location, and hosts went out of there way to make us feel welcome. We had a number of cabins, plus the Beach House. The Beach House was outstanding for a group. Highly recommend Sandpipers for a visit.

This place is just wonderful! Private beach access, big cottages very well equipped. Lovely staff. Perfect location to enjoy the est coast.

Beautiful place right near the beach, excellent facilities and generous hosts.

The Beach House has its own private beach and is just like a home from home. Under floor heating and a log burner kept us nice and cosy. Kyle is super helpful and the breakfast hamper was a nice touch. Thanks for having us.

Good place to stay if you are passing Bicheno. Very friendly management, big houses with everything you may need.

A recent winter getaway for myself and 7 friends was absolutely lovely here at Sandpiper. The cottages and comfortable, clean and provisions are excellent. The owners are so helpful, friendly and welcoming. Couldn't ask for much better! We loved it for a rug-up winter getaway, although the sun shone as it does in a lovely Tassie winter. I can't wait to spend a summer holiday up there to make the most of that endless beach.

This was our last stop on our 2 week tour of Tassie. We were pretty strung out after so much touring, eating and enjoyment. We felt instantly at home when we checked in. The kids couldn't get to the beach fast enough, and we weren't far behind. A BBQ, a movie, then drifting off to the sound of the waves was fantastic. We're coming back.

Well words cannot describe how fantastic our stay was, great cabins, cosy and clean, beach at your doorstep and private. A very warm welcome from our hosts, Thank you guys, we will be back! Cheers, Peter and Ian.
