We stayed here for long weekend, found good pricing, rooms generous size, clean, comfortable. Balcony viewing resort style pools, under water views. Breakfast every morning, has restraunt, close to city heart of Airlie Beach, staff very friendly, very helpful. Plenty car parking. Highly recommend staying here, wont be disappointed.

A very pleasant stay room are great… love the scenery just a short walking distance to the city shops, markets.

We really enjoyed our stay at Colonial Palms. The room was clean and tidy and w head a lovely view. We would highly recommend staying here and we will be back again.

Had a fantastic week there, entire team well and truly spoilt me.

The room was well furnished and the shower floor was not slippery for an elderly person like me. The dining room was nice with a good menu and good food. The staff were especially friendly and helpful and the swimming pools were great. I would certainly recommend a stay there.

The best Wi-Fi that I have ever experienced in a Hotel or motel. We used to stay there nearly 30 years ago and it is still as good as it was then.

Beautiful position in Airlie Beach BUT for hygiene a big NO for me. Every single Towel was old & frail. White towels turned grey with age or poor choice laundry powder? T. V not working-just wanted to catch the news. Quite sad!

Beautiful lush landscaped gardens and pools. Rooms are spotless and roomy. Very comfortable and great staff. Restaurant is fantastic. Great selections on menu and chef is superb. Worth staying here. Easy access to town. Short stroll to beach and lagoon.

Hotel is too remote from the main street, room equipment general, floor like bathroom floor tiles, breakfast in the morning, mainly the hotel is located in the location is not so convenient, stay do not need a deposit, toilet spare toilet paper, put in the toilet brush in front of the pole, feel a bit poor, the reception staff are very kind, room soundproofing okay, bed is good.

Nice cosy place just about a km off the main city centre. Just eggs need to be added with the standard breakfast. The staff very helpful and warm.

Good location close to the port of Airlie. Rooms. Are clean and large with all the usual bits. Staff were very friendly and helpful. You can hear a bit more noise from doors closing etc and people above you here then normal but it's not too disturbing. A must is eat at the restaurant, the food is really good.

Pleasant staff and Vey close to town centre as for the room they were basic which is fine but I don't appreciate a moldy bathroom, shower and hair in my bed. As for full continentail breakfast you can minus the full. Cold toast, watered down juice and cereal is not my idea of a FULL breakfast.

Have lived in Airlie for 15 years and have never been for a meal at Colonial we thought it was well and truly time to check them out as they had been highly recommend and it didnt disappoint they food was amazing and the service was laid back couldn't fault it we will defs be back.

We had a very good stay in airlie beach in this hotel. Friendly staff and good service. Will come again. I forgot m phone on charge in reception. I went brisbine they post it next day delivery in brisbine hotal for free.

Very Friendly staff, great value for your $$$ rooms are large with good veiws and updated not to mention the very large shower, clean & Soft bed.

Good location to the ferry. About 1km walk to the main shopping area and supermarket. Good breakfast and very friendly. The rooms are good with large shower. Big balconies with pool, ocean and mountain views.

Very nice hotel, decent room with balcony to enjoy the sea view or the view of the tropical pool. A little out of the way but only 5 min walk to get to the city center. Very nice manager, free towels for the beach or pool. Wifi correct. Continental breakfast OK but no excess.

A quaint dining location with a pleasant atmosphere. Serves about 6 different cuisines on the menu. Decent value. Nothing fancy, but well executed and friendly staff.

My partner and I were recommended by our Shuttle Bus driver to try the Colonial Palms restaurant. The service was extremely friendly and had a wonderful family business feel. The young apprentice greeted us personally and the wine was delicious and served at the perfect temperature. Food was amazing, we could not fault it — a simply stunning meal at a restaurant where the staff really care about what they do. Five stars.

Thank you Jeff and team for making Our one night stay a stay to remember. Our room was newly renovated it was fresh and clean. Jeff made us very welcome with our late night check in and even offered we park our car there for the week. My waitress at breakfast was friendly and lovely and ensured we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Keep growing your small business Jeff, you, your partners and team are doing a great job.

Very disappointed was told that we could eat in our room before I paid but then the folder said NO ROOM SERVICE and when I rang to enquire the gentleman that owned or managed the property said they do not like people eating in the rooms because it makes a mess. He did offer to deliver a meal into us but it was such a half-hearted "only if we really have to" offer I said not to worry. My problem is I asked before I paid if there was room service and was told yes. We look forward to being spoilt because we rarely get away so it did not happen. There was also a massive spider under the bedside cupboard that had been devouring insects and there was little body parts everywhere and to clean it required shifting the bedside table slightly and a vacuum but that had not happened for quite sometime. Overall disappointed.

Rooms great, plenty of space and easy access to pool. Pool lovely but first step a little high.

We didn't stay here but we had a fantastic big meal here. Food was really nice and in big portion.

Rooms were nice and clean. Wifi was a bit tricky. Reception lady was very sweet.

This is a fantastic place to stay! Beautiful location, rooms are very nicely appointed and comfortable, undercover parking and excellent security. Most importantly, the staff are wonderful and really go out of their way to make you feel cared for. To top it off, the restaurant has an award winning chef and serves spectacularly beautiful food at surprisingly good prices. Would recommend this motel to anyone.
