Disgusting behaviour from bar staff, had a family event minding our own business and closed bar early. Waitress were salty and not interested as soon as we rock up to the bar. Threatened to call cops. Most definitely do not recommend staying here. Disgusting behaviour from bar staff and front desk.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Love the pool but the rooms need a bit of work instead of repairing the room light the roof was patched and the switch at the door was replaced with a cover plate. Also the shower is tiny. When I turned on the TV only had local channels. No cupboards just a hanging rack. Loved happy hour and steak night but the menu needs a refresh. TBH I was expecting a lot more. I plan to come back but I'm hoping that's some of these issues are Covid related and will be fixed in good time.

Totally enjoyed our stay at club croc, we enjoyed happy hour with having cocktails and listening to music and sitting by the beautiful pool. Steak night was enjoyable. Room service was ok but towels and beds could of been maintained a little better for the price but all up I enjoyed our week stay.

Room is very nice and so is the air con but but but there needs another light the room is too dark.

My friend brought me here for my 70th birthday celebration. I am in a wheelchair and we booked an accessible room, in which the toilet didn’t work. Very disappointing, although I must admit they changed our room the next morning. Fortunately they have two accessible rooms. My frustration is that the ramps around the resort are way too steep for wheelchair users and we actually tipped backwards in my wheelchair onto the concrete path causing a nasty knock to the head. On reporting this to the maintenance manager he said that the staff have mentioned this problem several times to top management only to be told it’s too dear to fix. I wonder how the cost of being sued would compare with the “fix it” costs of these accessible ramps? Please take the time to amend this problem and make this resort accessible for people with disabilities to enjoy.

Front desk ladies are amazing, house keeping team always says hello as they pass by, F&B team deliver fast and friendly. My only suggestion better lighting in the rooms and the beds are not what I would expect from a mantra hotel on the hard side.

This is a glorified back packers, dirty rooms and not even as much as a glass in the rooms. Was a massive shock when you travel for work and find that a back packers pose as a Mantra hotel. Staff from checkout to management rude and unhelpful.

We stayed here just recently, we were very disappointed in our stay. The meals were horrible. Noise throughout till at least 11pm.
Heavy footed people above us and noisy neighbours. Too much light in the room and our room wasn't clean. Definitely will not be back.

Check in by efficient staff was quick and easy.
Our room is fantastic and 60” TV is the bomb.
Had dinner at restaurant and the waiting staff were absolutely kind, helpful and friendly. The meals and cocktails were to die for. Everything on our plates were fresh and delicious.

Nice hotel, friendly staff and room size and facilities vary so ask for a larger room is my advice. Spent three days last week in one of the smaller rooms and this week in a larger room with much nicer bathroom for one night!

Great place to stay, friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms. Even friendly wildlife to interact with. Beautiful pool and spa. Loved staying here and will come back for sure!

Well seasoned, cooked to perfection and tender.

Reception and breakfast staff were strongest assets. Didn’t have dinner at the restaurant but it was very busy. At the bar, the happy hour only included 2 mid strength beers and an unnamed cocktail. The cocktail was great, however it’s disappointing the 150 Lashes was not discounted during happy hour especially when the bar is plastered in James Squire marketing. If you plan on taking your own food, you’ll need your own cutlery too. Very limited cutlery and glassware in the room. The TV was great, Foxtel has plenty of options or you can stream your laptop.

Best part of this hotel is the pool and the friendly staff. The trees and greenery around the pool make you feel like you are somewhere else. The staff are always willing to help out and bubbly. The rooms aren't much and are cleaned daily whilst during out stay. Bit far out of Airlie Beach too, though the bus stop is right in front of the property.

Clean rooms. Nice friendly staff. Showee was a little on the small side and the mattress was pretty hard. Nice facilities.

Great hotel just outside the main strip of Airlie Beach. Clean facilities, nice pool, and the restaurant had great food at reasonable prices. Would stay here again.

Friendly receptionist. 24 hour check in is great as we arrived quite late in the evening. Four star as the shower was a tiny triangular modular unit — very dated! The full English breakfast poolside was fantastic. Friendly staff too. Would definitely stay again.

Shower is small. Very limited power points in room otherwise not too bad. Had the buffet, not happy with food. Very dry limited choice. Chicken wings not cooked properly. Prawns tasteless. Dessert not much choice. Very disappointed considering the price that you pay for the meal. Glad we did not book for breakfast.

Its an older establishment but Absolutely beautiful place and stay all the same. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The perfect place to stay when in Airlie beach.

Staff terrific, room great! Only complaint would be prices for the amount of food that is served. Should have at least two daily specials in the Bistro for people to choose from. Menu a bit boring, especially for long stays. Scrambled eggs for breakfast pathetic! Pool excellent.

Stayed two nights at mantra club crocodile, much improved from my last visit a few years ago, atmosphere relaxed from the moment I walked in, reception staff friendly, courteous, and efficiently. Rooms renovated, only problem was you have to use a glass to fill the kettle from the bathroom. Otherwise all good. Bar and resteraunt, good although vegetarian options were poor. Would stay there again and hAve joined the mantra club. Good value for money, and loved proximity to shops and town.

Wow, I had an amazing stay here at the mantra! It actually looks much better than the pictures. The staff was great, especially Adda at the reception. Also the staff at the bar was really lovely. The rooms are great and it is really only a 2 minute drive to Airlie Beach by taxi, bus 5 minutes and walking 30 minutes. If you would like to relax — just book this place as it’s quiet and nice food is great. Can’t wait to come back!

Crappiest place I have EVER been to. Worst customer service I have experienced in my times of travel. We booked a room a week in Advanced, showed ID and they wouldn’t let us in as we didn’t look 18 even though ID was presented to them. After an argument that went for half hour they refused to let us in until we had our birth certificates present. They would not refund us and refused to let us stay. We ended up staying in our car that night. This is actually a zero they wouldn’t let me put a 1 star.

Friendly staff and clean place. It was very peaceful and calm. Little bit far to the city centre. But you can relax without anyone bothering you.

Except for the annoying 24h Internet very nicely renovated.

The staff are lovely food very good quality but portion size small for the price compared to others in the area my main issue is with the room for a wheelchair accessible room is very tight certainly lack of space l for large electric chairs. Also a difficult ramp at the door is a bit steep.

Went to have lunch and swim but was turned away by staff because we are locals. There was one group in the restaurant and plenty of space around the pool. My kids were very upset. You have lost my familys support and business. Very disappointed.

Rooms are good however experience very much soured by the restaurant/bar: waiting more than 30 minutes for fish and chips, short pour on a glass of wine (denied vociferously by bar manager when pointed out), second round of drinks (margarita and beer) took the same 30+ minutes to be served. Seems like a combo of short staff for Xmas day and perhaps inexperienced. Made booking for Xmas dinner which wasn't processed (thankfully "event manager" found us seating, though had to wait an hour before dining).

Beautiful location with spectacular waterfront views (see the crystal clear waters as you enter the hotel). Immaculate rooms and gorgeous pool and restaurant area. Staff are very friendly and helpful, some of the best service I have experienced. The food was delicious too, if a little pricey. I would recommend this place if you’re thinking of going to Airlie Beach.

A relaxing place to stay whilst visiting Airlie Beach. Well appointed rooms, great pool, central location. The staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended with good rates.

While we stayed in a recently renovated family room (2 kids), it did seem lacking for some basic functionality. The light switch for the bathroom was on a wall between the bunk beds, not at the entrance of the bathroom, where you would expect it. The Room also only has ONE power outlet, with the kettle. I used my laptop there, but had to charge about 6 USB devices on my laptop, and not with the higher powered wall outlets I had. I do miss the upper pool they had too, it's now filled with sand. The bed was hard and other guests were noisy. I can't fault CC for guests though, that's just being nit picky. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the time we had there and will return, possibly to an upper floor room.

The room I stayed in was absolutely stunning! (Single garden deluxe). The pool is incredible, staff friendly and the food is divine. Special shoutout to one of the night time waitresses, who was exceptional at her job. She wore a smile the whole time, was very friendly and very catering.

An older hotel that has been updated in parts. It has a swimming pool and bar/restaurant. Lift to upper floor and is in a convenient location. Opposite the water and a walk in to town or the marina if you like a walk.

I went to see if the improvements made by Accor were an improvement. I had a drink and dinner. The meal was the first for the night and it was only warm and the scallops that were on the menu were not available. Had calamari instead. Not the same. Unfortunately there were a group of drunken males (approx 8) who kept drinking and swearing. Also drinks served in glass being taken to the pool area.

Sweet resort with a great staff and young atmosphere. We really liked staying here but we felt like the "no room maintenance" policy is a bit problematic. Had to vacuum our room in order to keep the ants from coming (which was hilarious but still). Fitness center is cozy but fun, and the vibe of the place was to our liking. Even though it's in Cannonvale, it's just a 25 minute walk to Airlie's Lagoon and it's a terrific walk.

Lovely staff, great atmosphere, footy on at the bar and can relax around the pool till late. Rooms are bang on, good size tv, furnishings are beautiful. Although the food was not so great. Salt and pepper squid with not so much salt or pepper. Extra bowl of chips with no seasoning for at dinner, beautiful paprika salt seasoning only 3 hours earlier. Whole Barra was stunning just salad dressing was stupidly spicy.

Fantastic Service! From the front counter reception staff to our favourite bartender Whitney. Her bubbly personality along with her fellow staff bringing us cocktails on our holiday has made this trip a very pleasurable experience. Will recommend to everyone! Thanks Mantra Club Croc and Whitney!

I've stayed here many times over the years, and this is the first time I have enjoyed it. They have done extensive renovations on all the rooms, and the whole outside of the hotel, including the bar and dining area have been updated for a more modern feel. The pool is nice and includes a hot tub, and there's a 24hr gym. The Wi-Fi works well too. My only complaint was that the elevator wasn't working and I was in a second floor room. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Comfortable beds. Surprisingly quiet, even for a room on the road side, we didn't hear traffic at night. Bed was very comfortable. Shower is tiny but otherwise great pressure and lots of hot water. The rooms aren't serviced daily, but we were fine with that. The lift wasn't working so if stairs are an issue, ask for a ground floor room. Lighting in the room wasn't great, plenty of natural light but once the sun set it was a bit dingy. Huge TV in the room.

The perfect place for a great holiday! The staff are awesome, the food is great without being overly expensive, the rooms are a great size, ours had a balcony and a nice size TV mounted on the wall with Fox movies and other fox channels as well as local. The Mantra croc is a 5 minute journey to the Airly Beach esplanade, as well as an abundance of shops and restaurants with live music every night. The rooms are clean and tidy as well with a nice sized bed, as well as a ceiling fan and aircon to ensure comfort. I would rate a 10 out of 10!

Stayed post Debbie and the newly renovated resort was great. Pool area is super lovely, rooms are very comfortable and staff were lovely. Had a great time. Ate at the onsite restaurant. The Croc burger was surprisingly good! Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Was really lovely staying in this beautiful hotel! The front office staff really helpful and friendly. Its paid off our bad day after getting scam by this dodgy small holiday house that they calls them self "RETREATS"… Mantra Club really excellent! Clean, big flat screen tv, nice and cozy restaurant, beautiful swimming pool, beautiful garden, nice and friendly staff! Would recommend and would love to go back again!

Really enjoyed our stay! Great friendly staff. Beautiful pool and spa area was a nice and relaxing feel with all the palm trees around. Room was great lovely and clean with a nice balcony and good view. Would highly recommend, will definitely be staying here again next time we are in the area.

Good affordable prices if you're on a budget, am staying in a re-furbished room for 5 nights. Room is really nice, comfortable bed, very clean & staff at reception are very friendly. Pool area is lovely. A shame the restaurant closed & you can't get a meal here. Definitely would stay here again.

Very nice hotel with a great pool and whirlpool, which scream vacation at you since they are surrounded by palm trees and very nicely set up. Rooms are basic, but large with fridge and air conditioning. The bathroom is pretty nice in my opinion. Staff is very friendly! Very good deal for the money.

Very rude staff 'greated' us at arrival. He was very unpleasant and we wanted to leave the minute we arrived. The free Wi-Fi in the common area did not work. The aircon was quite loud, and you could not set an exact temperature, but the room was kept at a decent temperature. The time we spent at the front desk 8 other guests came to the front desk 7/8 with complaints. Would avoid staying there.

Did not look like the pictures at all,, needs a major make-over the pool and Jacuzzi was cloudy & dirty I couldn't even see my feet! Over priced, I've stayed in better hostels than this! Thank god I only booked 1 night!

It's a little far from the main Street and area of Airlie Beach. However a lovely evening stroll gets you there in 30-45 minutes. The staff are friendly and the facilities are good, I found my stay very comfortable and had no complaints.

I found the staff were supper friendly and also helpful, they had great customer service skills. The pool area was nice, the bar was great they did have some bar food, I found out that the pizza was just a mc canes pizza topped with a bit more toppings it was OK not great. Nothing you would expect from a resort. The down fall was that the lift broke down after we were up the top. When I got to the room the TV remote was taped up by a few strands of electrical tape the door handles were about to fall off, and the shower cubical was extremely small. But hey I did get the budget room but I feel that there needs to be a bit more maintenance. And on another note I was there for the buffay breakfast I think next time I will opt for just the continental, the bainmarie was broken and pritty much all the hot stuff was cold, except for the hash browns they were nice.

The room was clean and tidy and the aircon worked well. Disappointed there was no meals available as you then had to drive back to Airlie to get tea, unless you wanted takeaway from up the road. Was told by staff that they had staffing problems and that's why there were no meals available at all. Resort has changed dramatically over the years and it used to be such a fantastic place to go with the family, now it is like a deserted resort. A shame really.

I stayed with kids and they lied the pool and spa. Location is close to the marina and city centre by car (few hills on the way). Great her and cocktails at the bar. There was live music 2 of the 4 nights we stayed. It's not a Taj Mahal but it's money for value considering the price comparing other hotels.

Recently refurbished. Excellent for a 3 star hotel. Friendly staff, pool and heated spa. Close to everything. A couple of minutes drive to town. Shopping centre next door. Highly recommended.

Worst place ever. Room was dirt and cold. I've been there with my fiancee for my birthday before going to a Catamaran trip. That was a terrible experience. I hated this place. The owner was in a bad mood and wasn't understanding at all. If you have a choice, you should find an another place.

Yes, it's an older establishment, but is undergoing refurbishment. A good location. Nice staff. Comfortable bed. Air conditioned. New bathroom.

Dont go its a trap. The room was dirty, power ponts were coming of the walls, NO hygiene seal, the air con was blowing hot air the filter was dirty, Wi-Fi didnt work properly, the beds were not comfy, the sheets were dirty, and there to many screaming kids by the pool and no one was watching them, the deck had cigarette butts everywhere, we were so decussated we left after about 30min of being there we could not take it any more. So I repeat dont go here its a trap.

Very poor rooms dirty verandah walkway aircon didn't work filter was dirty power point came out off wall hazard needs lots of money spent on rooms not just bring it in. You have to spend money to make money I have stayed in cleaner rooms above pubs.

Can me as the Vorbewertern only connect. Dreckshotel and unfavorably. About 3 km from the shot and still not even a gas station close to where you are barely able to care for them. Dirty, fatty, unfriendly and incompetent staff plenty of warning signs. The worst Hotel during my period in Australia.
