Nice large living area in the room. Beautiful view of Airlie beach from the balcony. 3 resort pools, a basic gym and plenty of covered car parking. Had a great weekend.

Nice resort style lodging that resembles or is a timeshare ripe accomodation. Clean, well appointed with a nice infinity pool. The only negative feedback I have is that reception closes at 6pm and opens at 8am, so if you are a late arrival and need something, you are out of luck until the next day.

Great Resort to stay at close to the heart of Airlie Beach and with pretty good views looking over the water, plus there 2 pools and common BBQ area.

The view is stunning with a very relaxed feel within the resort. Jaccuzi is excellent with a great size balcony. Personally love this place.

We had a large apartment on the 4th floor with super-great views and complete furnishings with kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and the view from the large terrace was great. Everything there except a restaurant but supermarket opposite and City 5 minute walk.

This property is well positioned and has fantastic ocean views. We booked a 2brm water views with hot tub. The room is very dated and not very clean. Furniture not matching and old. Bathrooms old but not clean. Mould in the silicon and c would easily be repaired. Blankets are in need of a wash, some should be replaced as they are badly stained. Floors dirty and unit dusty. General appearance of the property is poor. Cigarettes still on the FLOOR IN THE BBQ area after 3 days. BBQ still not cleaned. Wi-Fi very poor. Would not recommend or stay again. Especially at the price we are paying…

Very disappointed by the poor/no Wi-Fi coverage and the lack of general upkeep and maintenance of the rooms. Breakfast was just toast and/or cereal. Kind of a musty/damp smell in the room. Shower was a bit grotty. Proximity to the road was a bit bothersome, car noises. Nice view from the balcony and proximity to the centre. Air conditioning in all rooms.

Great location and good size rooms but Wifi is horrible.

Really like staying here in Airlie. Customer service was excellent and I found it a shirt walking distance to where I wished to go.

The view was really nive but the rooms needed some upgrade. Also breakfast was toast and milk nothing else. Aahd I asked to do a late check out and the receptionist said that he needed the room for painting on a Sunday ago. I stayd on the pool for the hole day and no one except the cleaners entered my room very disappointing.

Great location short stroll to the shops and town center. Very friendly staff, quite helpful. And the rooms and view are beautiful.

Spacious apartment, correct arrangement (kitchen, dishwasher, fridge), washing machine and dryer, 2 bathrooms, a large balcony. A little dated, but charming. Convinced!

Room is in need of renovation and a bit stale. Reception is already closing at six. At breakfast you have to pay extra coffee! Otherwise well located but always noisy in the evening.

Great location, good sized rooms, friendly staff. Currently under going refurbishment but this didn't detract from enjoying our stay. Terrific views, short walk to main street and departure point for island ferries. Would definitely come here again.

Good location good view, and huge units for the price. Breakfast was toast, cereals, and yoghurt. Enough to keep you going but not lavish by any means. Loads of pools and a nice hot spa. Excellent place to just relax after a day of being out on a boat.

Three days' trip to Airlie Beach, We booked an apartment in Waters Edge Resort, The building, facilities, furniture looked old, but it's still acceptable. When we went back to Brisbane, They charged us an extra fee for the house keeping, Kept saying the room was "very dirty", but without providing any proof. The fact is we cleaned the room everyday, including the morning we left awful experience, would not recommend this resort to anyone.

Really nice holiday apartments that allow your family to spread out. There's heaps of room in the lounge and the kitchen let us cook for friends too. It has a great Nth Queensland laid back feel, but the service is prompt and friendly — as you'd expect. We had a great view of the coastline and enjoyed how close it was to everything. The pool is great too, with it's own view of Airlie Beach below.

Unclean rooms, Uncomfortable beds & Outdated furnishings. Given how expensive the room rate is for a 2 bedroom apartment, the standards just arent there, and it looks like the eye for detail by the management and cleaners shut closed along time ago. Overpriced internet connection, kitchen facilities that look like they were purchased from the op shop, and a balcony that hasn't been cleaned properly in years, including a rock garden (? ) that looks more like building rubble. Highly disapointing. Most frustrating — ringing ahead and asking if they had a coffee plunger; which I was informed they didnt. Carried mine from home so as I could enjoy a coffee. Sure enough, rooms have a coffee plunger! Would not recommend.

Having only recently moved into the Coalfields region I had always gone through to Mackay for weekends off and friends were always saying "You have got to get to Airlie Beach" so I decided to spoil myself over the Labour Day weekend and booked 4 nights at The Waters Edge. From the moment I arrived until I departed I was treated like a VIP and when I saw my apartment (a one bedroom on the 5th floor) I could not believe it, absolutely spotless and the view was out of this world. The apartment was extremely comfortable and the 3 pools were really special and honestly I did not feel like leaving it but of course with so much to see and do in Airlie you simply have to. I booked a trip on the Camira from the reception and they took care of everything, arranged for me to be collected and dropped back and then only charged me for the expereince when I checked out. The Camira is well worth going on and I had an absolutely amazing time, snorkeling at Hook Island, Beach Cricket at Whitehaven (the beach is unbelievable) and of course all you could eat and drink on board. Airlie Beach really impressed me no shortage of places to go and people to bump into and socialise with, Phoenix Bar is a great evening pub and Capers is well worth a visit as well. Mark at The Rum Bar makes the best Mojhito ever and anything else for that matter. I had a mud crab at the Fish Divine and it was the best meal I can remember having, just amazing.
