We had an incredible weekend in Airlie @ Whitsunday Terraces Fabulous view, huge room and comfy bed! Thanks guys! Can’t wait to stay again! Support locals and visit Airlie! So many great venues and adventures to be had! Ocean Rafting on Saturday was mint! Perfect weather and visibility was tops! A quick trip to find stingrays at Hill inlet followed by some pretty coral at Bali Hai… Best day out! @rocksbarairliebeach @coralsearesort was super fun! Delightful cocktails and epic pool for a sunday session! So many memories! Let’s do it again sometime!

Our unit was everything and more the view was spectacular every morning and evening
highly recommend anyone to stay here totally blown away we will be back.

We just got back from a 11 day stay at the resort and absolutely loved this place the managers and staff at the counter were soooo lovely and helpful with everything including organising our tours to sourcing champagne glasses.

Great views and location steep hill to climb and could have a screen door.

As soon as we saw where we were staying we felt soo relaxed with that beautiful view… Michelle the manager was very helpful and all the staff were extremely friendly. Our 1 bd apartment was very clean and had everything one would need, bed was comfy, large shower as well… and fantastic view too. Would definately go back… thanks for a great stay…

One of the best locations I've stayed in. Excellent view from our room. Michelle and her staff gave excellent service. Cooling off in the pool overlooking the bay was unbeatable.

The best thing about this hotel is the restaurant the anchor the meal are fantastic. Once you leave the restaurant your experience will decline rapidly once you reach your room. Upon entering you room you will hear dripping taps, notice the towel rail is not attached in your bathroom and your front door does not close. You go out on the veranda and the safety rail falls off. You go back in side turn the TV on and notice 2 cracks across the TV so you have the shits go to bed and sleep on a lump busted spring bed that should have been replaced in the late 90s.
This resort needs to be maintained and is a disgrace to the industry.

Resort accommodation was excellent, and loved the view from our apartment, also the food and service around the pool area was great too.

A little worn down on the exterior but pretty good on the interior if you consider the price you pay. The views are AMAZING! Worth the walk up the steep hill. I wouldn't recommend if you struggle with walking, even just to pop down the street for some drinks was a bit exhausting. The onsite bar is awesome as well, even the locals go. We spent a few nights there.

Great location very close to Airlie Beach main street. That's about all this hotel has going for it. Gross room with furniture from the 60s, not clean, bed was terrible with springs poking through everywhere, disgusting outdoor furniture, sticky floor, have to pay for ANY replacements of room stock which includes toilet paper, even though we where there for 4 nights. Had chainsaw going right outside our room clearing gardens for 2 days of our stay, what hotel manager organises that stuff during school holidays when they are fully booked is beyond me. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless it was literally your last option in the district though I hear there is no consistency in the rooms and some are suposedly really nice, our room was not one of them!

At first, it was a wonderful experience with stunning views from the balcony, and incredible amenities located on site, such as two (non heated) swimming pools. But soon, cracks began to form. The air conditioning in the room worked, but only blew in one direction and wouldn’t oscillate. The microwave stopped working if only switched on for one minute, and towards the end of the trip, the kettle also began to malfunction. I know I had an excellent deal of $446 for four nights, but I’d seriously consider if this accomodation is worth it given all that went wrong for me.

Love the location and the view. Convenient to everything. It has a nice pool/ bar/ restaurant and a spa.

Clean, got all the useful things you would want (shower, small kitchen, balcony, big comfy bed) and a short (but uphill walk from the shops). The view however, would be tough to beat and the sunset sky is beautiful. Also new friends!

Awesome views, friendly service and the rooms are clean. A pool which has a bar and restaurant attached with views to the Whitsundays Islands. Love it!

Great location, nice view. Very spacious rooms with comfortable furniture. Great value for the price. Some parts of the apartmant were a bit dusty.

We loved it there. Great value, beautiful view, clean and inviting room. Its an older building and I think maybe a timeshare so I suspect units may vary considerably, but ours was well equipped and had everything we needed. If you want more hand holding or luxury though, you may prefer a more conventional hotel.

By far the worst hotel experience! Not worth staying at unless you’re after something similar to back packers accommodation. The hotel does not provide clean towels, in room facilities including toilet paper and they want you to take out your own rubbish after your stay. After complaining about the people next door who were throwing cans of beer and water bombs on our balcony and making noise all night, there was no support from reception to better our experience. We checked out 2 days early and asked for a partial refund which the hotel could not provide. Not happy at all.

The only redeemable view and location.
Prehistory watchers, they didn't light anything my reservation said Cam Queen and we got a double super uncomfortable Hotel in their divisions. Divided by sectors and all separated from each other and without access to each other. To get to the rooms.
Not one more towel. Very miserable Apart spacious. Spacious room and bathrooms.
Wi-Fi only at the reception. And it worked slow in the ad did not clarify that. (a scam and a ratoneada to pass that in the year 2017)
Expensive for the services Q offer small pool for so many guests.

German cockroaches found infesting our luggage. Balcony doors dont seal — spiders in bed, geckos in room. Ants all through kitchen and bathroom on arrival. Air con didnt work — filter clogged and mouldy so washed it in the bath ourselves! 3 couples booked months in advance and were placed in rooms blocks apart (all same price but entirely different, 1 with oven/stove 2 without, 2 with baths 1 without, 1 with 2 aircons 2 with 1). Would not recommend. Extremely disappointing! And again. German roaches!

Ok but run down and in need of a clean. Suited to backpackers but overpriced. Parking limited and steep hill.

Okay for the price, could be cleaner, lots of bugs, Central location but up a book hill if you don't have a car.

The lady at the front desk was very rude and not welcoming when we first arrived. The had good views, clean and well priced. We stayed 2 nights and there was an accident with the sheets as it was my gf time of the month. We explained the problem and it didn't matter. We were charged $35 for fresh sheets and it didn't matter that we stayed two nights. So we were expected to sleep on dirty sheets unless we paid the money. Very frustrating and unfair!

Amazing view from the dated apartments and a steep walk up the hill but a C poolside bar underneath.

We stayed as 2 adults so… Great value food… steak sandwich and chips for 18 dollars… bargain and tastes great. Our room was recently refurbished and it was more than suitable for a 4 to 5 day stay for 2 adults. Close to main street of Airlie Beach and 4 min to the lagoon. Awesome!

Grat view, comfortable rooms. Bar is ok but very noisy and noise travels uphill to rooms. Very steep walk up to rooms and cant take car or you will lose your park. Dont stay here unless you enjoy steep uphill walks.

Thank you Whitsunday Terraces Resort — (Katie & Sally) for allowing us to have the most wonderful 7 Nights of bliss on our recent holiday. The correpsondence leading up to our stay was really professional and helpful. Our check in was wonderful and very informative. Our room — well our room was amazing — Firstly the view was to die for and we could have spent every minute just passing the time sitting on 1 of our 2 balconies. The room was clean, airy and had everything we could have asked for. The quiteness of the room of a night time made you forget that you were even in a block of other units. We both thank you all so much and especially for fitting us in on the final night at short notice so we didnt need to move rooms. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway in beautiful surroundings — Mr & Mrs C&A Mison.

What a terrible excuse of a resort. The lady at the reception desk during the day had nothing but arguments to pick with us. From the mouldy room; people smoking in their room next door and having the smoke coming into the room to failing to provide proper information for our air port transfer. Absolutely disgusted. If this is way tourists are treated no wonder the place looks like they are losing money by the day and the buildings are falling apart. We stressed our concerns regarding the mould and the response was 'I can send a cleaner up tomorrow' the place already smelt as tho it had been fumigated with bleach! No Thankyou! The shower tap was dodgy and we asked for assistance with this. The response 'I can have someone come up tomorrow. Utterly disgusted in the service of this resort, the way we were spoken to buy the bigger blonde lady repeatedly at reception. All this place has going for it is the view but even then, the view is the same from the other resorts on the hill. Do yourself a favour and stay at one of those.
Putrid experience from a money hungry resort.

Big room, great sea view, convenience, few minutes walk for eat (till 22:00) and small shopping centre, free massage pool and swimming pool. Parking space is not sufficient at night. My room 7A the furniture is a bit old. We microwave a chicken from Woolworth. Utensils, … everything are there. Just no bath tub.

Arrived to check in and was told our room wasn't ready which is fine, we went into town for some morning tea waiting for the promised phone call to say our room was ready for us. 3hrs later no phone call so we made our way back to check and yep sure enough the room was ready. We went up to the room and were utterly disappointed; forget the view u can see it from the marina or driving around the port of Airlie but the room was disgusting. Stunk of bleach and was not clean at all. Upon going straight back to reception their resolution was to have the cleaners re clean it, what some more bleach? No Thankyou! Room was very outdated. Bathroom was disgusting and dirty could see the mould along the edge of the walls and the bath. Definitely not worth the money we paid. What a crappy way to end our holiday. Shame on Whitsunday Terraces. Will never be back!

The view was amazing. The room needs updating of furnitures. The pool is nice w/view but not too family friendly as the bar is beside and lots of drinking, so not too comfy with our kids around.

While the view was amazing and the second pool was convenient, I was a little dissappointed at how outdated the room was for the price that we paid ($175 p/n). The furniture was mismatched pine timber and the chipboard vanity in the bathroom was starting to peel. There were numerous holes in the walls and one in the bathroom door. The carpet was also starting to pulI on the edge near the balcony door. I also felt that a 22" TV for a room of that size was too small. The photos on the website were of much nicer rooms and this is what we believed we were paying for. The service was great at reception and at the bar/restaurant (food was amazing), however, the room really let them down.

Had a great stay at this resort. Fantastic view from the top of the hill (taxi a must for getting home), very clean apartment, reasonably priced from accommodation, food and drinks and friendly staff. Definitely worth a return visit.

When I first arrived and saw the view from reception I was amazed on how beautiful it was. Then when we checked in the receptionist was so friendly and made us feel welcomed. She gave us a map of the resort, as it has many levels. Every room have full ocean views. Our room was so clean and modern. Highly recommend to stay here and also you don't need to go to far for a drink and food as the Anchor Bar is next to the pool. So you can relax and have a drink while the kids play in the pool.

2nd stay here and once again blown away by the view. Rooms have always been clean and comfortable. Staff were really friendly. Our meal and drinks overlooking the pool, overlooking Airlie Beach, overlooking the ocean were great.

Rooms are standard, but the view is out of this world, loved sitting on the balcony looking out to the boats! Entertainment was good! Nice firework display on nye! Will definitely stay again!

Stopped off for a couple of nights and have to say great views, however Fan in lounge/bedroom only worked on full and air con had some movement controller which prevented it from working so impossible to sleep in this room. Beds very old and whole place needs to be refurbished.

I had a wonderful experience in Airlie, the Terraces was the perfect place to stay because its in the heart of Airlie Beach. My room was lovely looked over the water so I was able to sit on my balcony for hours. The staff at reception were so kind and helpful they booked all my shuttles and cruises for me so I had no worries.

The view is AMAZING however… the room is in desperate need of a makeover — iron burns on the carpet, not enough lighting, place feels old and dirty. The a/c is tired and doesn't work properly. There is not enough lighting in the room, the "free" Wi-Fi is slow, no cable (apparently renewing contract? ). First night we had to put up with a party and duff duff music (even though there is a No Party policy) then people throwing cigarette butts onto our balcony (the NO SMOKING Policy is ignored completely as well. ) Parking is a nightmare — basically there isn't any and you have to park on the road and as its on the side of a hill upper levels are not easy to get too if you are not good with stairs etc. Receptionist and the bar girl are absolutely lovely I can see from our balcony better looking hotels and I wish I was there.
