Absolute disgrace the owners have no idea how to run a business and are involved in illegal activities.

The bar staff are very polite and they care about the patrons when you visit. The food is beautiful with generous portions. The entertainment is off the roof and I enjoyed the Karoke on Wednesday night and I will be back again and again. Thank you to the management and instilling a safe environment and courtesy from the staff❤️👑🥩🥂🍤🎤🎸🎼

It is so run down, owners don't know how to run a pub. Toilets smell mouldy, old furniture, it's not very inviting. Maybe if they put some money into doing it up and had better staff that serve you straight away instead of waiting 10 mins, they may get more people in.
alot of pubs are getting make overs so more people will choice to go there.

After waiting patiently an hour for garlic bread, asked about our order as we watched everyone around us get food, to be told the order did not make it to the kitchen. Got our money back and left. Was not busy, the owner rushed around fussing over people at the table beside us, but failed to notice WE HAD NO FOOD!

Owner of hotel checked in to see how our meals and service was The new chef should be very proud of the food they accomplish. Mine was the lamb shank and it was fantastic cooked falling off of the bone. Gravy, mash and broccolini! All cooked to perfection My husband had the Rump/Ribs chips salad and mushroom gravy salad dressing my husband said was a very good salad dressing. He absoulety loved it even though he was getting full he couldn't let amazing food go to waste and ate all of it. He tried my lamb shank and I tried some his Rump/Ribs and mushroom gravy. Omg yummy yum That to feel off the bone Rump was cooked good and the gravy omg best mushroom gravy like the chef cooked from scratch and added cream No one can beat that mushroom gravy Overall 10/10 Staff and job and chef you should be so proud your cooking was good job ❤

I would highly recommend the shamrock hotel. Staff were great happy, helpful and lovely. Owner of hotel was lovely checked to see of we were having a good time and enjoyed our meals. There chef should be very proud of there cooking food was served to perfection Very yummy the steak beautiful gravy is amazing and the ribs beautiful sauce shank very yummy and they both feel off the bone beautifully Job well done to the chef… We loved our night and gald we choose the Shamrock for our first year wedding anniversary Good job to all the staff too Food and service 10/10.

The bistro was understaffed with some staff who weren’t properly trained. All our orders were wrong and some of the staff just didn’t want to know about. If you are going to run weekend specials than please have staff that want to take care of you, can get the meals right, and if not, can help sort things out. A table of 9 people that certainly won’t be back again.

Had a meal there today disgusting didnt have a special had Fish Barra salad chips off main menu, $21 overcooked fish salad was english spinach with bit of raw cabbage, my friend got similar except had vegs with fish had that used by taste certainly not fresh, to many good pub meals in Toowoomba. The $13 special someone else had was a better meal than ours.

The staff in the gaming room are just brilliant. Friendly, welcoming & accommodating.

I experienced a peaceful night in a comfortable Queen bed. The room was clean and tidy, though a few maintenance issues need attention. Ceilings fan doesn't work and bed lamps are hanging by it's wire causing a potential electrical risk, and button switch is dodgy. Room had sufficient amenities and coffee/tea, bathroom crisp and modern. In the pub restaurant, the bar tender was lovely and provided excellent service. It's been reported that the menu is new and included several dishes of varying budgets. I ordered the T-bone with mash potatoes & steamed veggies. I think the veggies came from frozen but the meal was still delicious!, steak tender. The restaurant decor is dated, but is a good sign of the longevity of the establishment, the atmosphere friendly and welcoming. NBN speed Wi-Fi is available in public areas, but not in the rooms. And Optus data mobile reception Is only 2 bars. Look, it's not five star, but I would stay again. Great for single, couples and safe for families.

Great food, great service, fantastic staff, great atmosphere. The food is absolutely delicious & cooked to perfection. The staff are friendly & accomadating when it comes to serving the customers. Range of different things to appeal to a wide range of people. There is Sports Bar (3 bars in total), Keno room, pokies, dining in the bistro, karaoke & now the night club. Motel rooms are tidy & clean. Love it,!

My partner and I went into the shamrock hotel for a meal as he use to work there and the food was great. We ordered quickly as the bar staff knew my partner but once the food came out we realised my partners burger was cold and my sausage were still frozen in the middle. We took it back to the bar staff which took it back to the kitchen and then MICROWAVED the whole plate of sausages and burger! Which I thought was disgraceful and later that night I had food poisoning. Motel was disgusting too. Worst pub/motel in Toowoomba. Not quite sure why it’s still open!

Clean rooms comfy bed though only 1 light out of 4 in the main room worked and the spa bath didn't work either. Adequate for the price.

Celebrated at the shamrock when I found out I'm going to be the father of a beautiful little girl service was great.

Wasnt that great, food was tasteless, was put together like it was just slapped on, main food was cold. The only good thing was the chips.

Was put up here for a few weeks by my new place of employment. I ate dinner at the restaurant most nights. My food of choice was the Crumb Steak which is $18. I tended to have this as it was a pretty decent feed for the price. The motel rooms ain't to bad for the price. Tho the bathroom could do with a upgrade in the future but it isn't to bad that it affected my stay. Check in was a breeze and I found most of the bar staff to be fairly friendly. Drinks at the bar are not the cheapest in the world, it will set you back $3.75 for a can of coke & $6+ for a Schooner of Great Northern… But despite the price the drinks are always ICE COLD. Overall my experience has been postive and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Nice motel rooms and they make a GREAT crumb steak and have a good selection of ice cold beer.

Bought a 30 dollar 400 gram steak, ordered medium rare and got a well done 250 gram steak. A table full of people that worked there tried to fight myself and my friends. Other than that it was pretty good.

It's ok. The staff are friendly. The main bar is alright, nothing to write home about. The atmosphere is a bit lacking & the clientele are so so. The decor & furniture is tired & shabby (not so chic) could definitely do with a revamp. However if you like to gamble it does have 2 TAB rooms 1 brand new with a deck & the pokie room is quite good too.

Now have had 3 times sex at the accommodation at the back of the motel. That now makes it brothel rank 12millionth in certain area in the world. Still expensive though would love to get prices down so more sex.

Shamrock offers healthy large sized meals which are well priced. Great for lunch or dinner.

The location is great and easy to find in town, lovley staff. All round great experience.

If you don't have endurance like me, the bedroom in units out the back is where fun happens. Otherwise anywhere in there if your a proper stud/pornstar. Have someone film it or use video cameras inhouse and post here (pornhub video).

The Shamrock Hotel used to be a fancy, modern venue but years have passed since then and now it is rundown and seedy looking. The bathrooms are in ok shape but when you have 6 bathrooms with 3 out of order and in leaking it's not a good look. The toilets are those indestructible all metal variety that are torture to sit on. Patrons are all weird or inmates of an alanon house. There were police parked on the road outside as soon as the sun went down with reports being taken inside.

I stayed in room 5 for one night and it was the dirtiest room I have ever stayed in cockroaches on bench mould in bathroom would not recommend.

Happy Hour drinks a bargain and tge seafood basket for lunch tasted great but also incredible value for money.

Decent service with excellent price, rooms are close together but you can't hear other guests, a good place to stay for a night out as it is a short walk to the clubs!

Don't use your phone while at the bar because the security will harass you about being asleep when you are just scrolling through Facebook. After complaint no apologies. Ridiculous.

$90 for a night in own room with ensuite. Cold aircon, good. Room is fine for what you pay. Bathroom needs redecorating.

Still staying here, Managers just use there key to walk in your room then get a fright wen they realise you are still in it they advertise free Wi-Fi yet it doesnt reach the rooms and the spa but you can't use it, they ran out off hot water, no plates or cutlery, had to cancel our dinner reservations we had some where else due to no hot water, wasn't going out without a shower, TV wouldn't go for 3 hours, lost power on one side off motel room had to wait hours before some one turned up. Pay good money for this bullshit, for the manager to turn around and say can't do anything sorry. They couldn't even offer us free meals because of the inconvenience of no hot water and cancelled our dinner reservations elsewhere. Nothing but rudeness. Never again and we paid for 4 days. Pretty fucked off.

My son nearly ate a sharp bit of plastic found in his ice cream. Luckily he is a smart toddler and spat it out. I did take it to staff who didnt really care but did come out to the table and said they had checked their ice cream and it was their fault as a staff member left the lid off the ice cream when putting it back in the freezer and a bit of container has fallen from the one above. Nothing was even offered as compensation! For a restaurant you would think precautions would be taken so things like this dont happen. Maybe this also explains the reason we have all woken with food poisoning from the chicken! Also the kids room had toys just thrown in there and really looked like a store room. First time dining and it will be the last. Very disappointed!
