Fabulous beautiful spot, have stayed a few times and will again.

Great rooms with lots of space and well stocked kitchens. Very clean friendly staff great pool area delicious food.

I rarely write reviews unless I find the stay excellent or, on the contrary, mediocre. The quality of service and the vast majority of the staff was, for us, really unsatisfactory. Let me explain: at breakfast we waited at least 40 minutes when there were hardly any tables occupied, I ordered eggs benedict with the mention on the menu that it was a "hollandaise sauce home made" otherwise I never order this. The sauce I got on my dish was nothing homemade and straight out of an industrial carton (I know this because it was exactly the same filthy sauce as in a cafe where I worked in a center town). In addition the girl who took our order does not even know what really makes up the menu. The morning staff weren't very pleasant anyway. In the evening, we decided to order room service (the system told us that we would receive our order within 30 minutes). I just changed the bbq sauce to an aioli sauce, not liking the industrial bbq sauce. After an hour, we still hadn't received our order, we were rather hungry and I looked out the window at the restaurant, there really weren't many people at the table at that hour, I asked reception when they thought we would be delivered. They told us it was a mistake and they will care of us immediately. 1/2 hour later (i. E. After an hour and 1/2 of total waiting) we finally received our order with the apologies of the manager (the only person who was really correct with us) for the delay.

Went to the 3Sixteen Bar and Bistro for some cocktails and a grazing platter. Food was great, service amazing, drinks incredible. Renee made a Marshmallow Cocktail of the Day — best evening!

Fun in the pool with the grandchildren and beautiful gardens. The kids loved feeding the fish. Spacious rooms and convenient location.

The best place to spend a romantic holiday and the pool is the best in the area.

It’s a leafy, open Aired dining area, lovely pool that wends around the shape of the bar/ dining.
It’s family friendly.
We’ve parked out large caravan here with our two small dogs and enjoy the luxurious surroundings of this leafy modern resort.
A path from the resort takes you right on to 4 Mile Beach.

Great place, however, they shouldn’t call it a Gym, needs free weights, took one look and walked out, joined a gym for a week in town. Too many silly cardio machines🤷‍♂️

One of the best place's I have grown to love, great for families and couples. Close to everything and the courtesy Bus to town for $5 bargain.

Fantastic little resort set in rainforest style surroundings. Very clean tidy spacious rooms, very friendly staff & excellent value menu in their restaurant & bar. It's a short drive to the Port Douglas town centre or a 40 minute beach walk, with the beach only a few minutes stroll from the resort. All round a great value stop over or a long wind down styled resort in the tropics.

Undoubtedly for me, it was the pool incorporating a beautiful rock grotto, and the poolside restaurant and bar. The staff also, were very friendly and helpful.

Beautifully designed resort, with a stunning water feature running through the centre and gorgeous boardwalk to enjoy the water feature. Easy to find location, lovely and incredibly accommodating staff! Probably my favorite resort of all the Wyndham Resorts I've visited so far!

Such a grand experience staying here. Meet a fabulous and very helpful Whydham Team, they make us feel “at-home” and ultra friendly towards our questions and all. We loved our stay at Ramada! Instantly felt relaxed in the rainforest atmosphere, lovely clean and comfortable rooms, so many places to sit and chill throughout the resort, very friendly and helpful staff in reception and the restaurant. Juan & Antonio were the best mixologists with a great sense of humor! The swim-up bar was fantastic and pool-side was our favourite place to be. I'd go back again in a heartbeat!

It is really great staying at the ramada. The staff are excellent. Bus service into town $5.00. It's so easy to get around. It's a beautiful resort. Just love it.

Great resort suitable for families, groups and couples. Beautiful surroundings and pool area, friendly staff, clean rooms and the menu has been flawless. We will be back. My only complaint is the noise from the boiler room next to our room, sounds like it’s going to explode every couple of hours with a loud rumbling noise which lasts for a few minutes.

Beautiful water features and rainforest setting. Restaurant provides a small but quality menu.
My only complaints are very poor Wi-Fi and 4G coverage.

Loved it. Came here on our first holiday to Australia visiting family with my 2 daughters. Great location, lovely food and such helpful staff. The rooms were lovely and would 100% stay in this hotel again. 5 stars.

Been here for a week staying in a 2 bedroom apartment through wyndham, rooms are more than big enough with cooking facilities which has been perfect. We have a young family and it has been absolutely fantastic. The staff will bend over backwards to make sure you enjoy your stay. Would recommend to anyone. Food is great. Cocktails are amazing. This is why we continue to come back every year. … plus the fact that it's in the middle of beautiful Port Douglas.

We booked an apartment for 2 weeks. We have "timeshare" membership in Wyndham and know their standards are good. Pleased with the resort, its layout and amenities. Tour operators arrange pickups from the motels, hotels and resorts in the area, so connections are timely and hassle-free. Weather in the Wet Tropics is great outside the windy winter months, so no excuse for avoiding the beautiful outdoors and regional attractions. Staff here are helpful and informative. Rooms are spacious (for our chosen format) and well-maintained. Plus 1/2*star for the rating.

We found the resort to be really clean and well presented and maintained. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our unit was immaculate and extremely comfortable. We were particularly impressed with the restaurant — we ate there several times and the service was excellent and the food delicious. We met a few local residents as well as guests from other accommodation who came here to eat because of the restaurant's good reputation.

The resort is fine although I thought the pool area is looking a little tired and there are parking issues if you come back late at night. I did not realise it was as big as it is with owners, renters and tourists in the many rooms/units there. The staff were fantastic particularly in the restaurant so friendly and helpful.

Very pretty resort, lots of trees and boardwalks. Good restaurant every meal was top notch. Fantastic pool and rooms are nicely decorated and spacious. Would stay here again. Bit out of town but makes going in an adventure in itself. Great staff very helpful.

A short walk to Four Mile Beach. A 5 min drive or 1 hour walk to the Port Douglas township. We were glad we had a car but there is a shuttle that goes to and from town. The cleaning, restaurant, and bar service was really good. The pool area is relaxing and the spa treatments are worth the money spent. One night our neighbour turned on their TV at around 3AM and the murmur could be heard through the walls. Otherwise no issue with noise. The bike hire is overpriced — the bike places in town will rent at under half the price and drop the bike to you. Good facilities, nice and clean, with great ambience. Highly recommend!

My husband and I stayed at the Ramada Resort for our 1 year wedding anniversary and we couldn’t have been happier with our stay! Each and every staff member from reception to the restaurant/ bar were so friendly and accommodating to the both of us. Food and beverages at the restaurant were delicious and at a very reasonable price.
We would absolutely stay here again and recommend this resort to our family and friends. Thank you everyone at the Ramada for making our experience so wonderful!

Great location, a 5 min drive into town, 5 min walk to the beach. Pool is lovely, especially the swim up bar. Parking on site. The bedrooms are slightly aged but apart from that our stay was fab.

My Partner and I and 3 boys came here for 4 days stayed at the resort staff here were friendly gave us a complimentary bottle of wine on our arrival rooms were excellent with all facilities provided would definitely recommend anyone who wants a holiday away or even a weekend away to come stay at the Ramanda Resort.

The Ramada reminds me of a resort I stayed at in The Bahamas, beautifully represents my idea of a tropical destination from the lush gardens and water features to the large 2 bed apartment and welcoming staff. I am so happy I chose to stay here it definitely ticked the boxes. Thankyou for the experience we had, the only downfall was we did not stay longer.

We had a great time in the resort, very clean and relaxing atmosphere. The pool was clean and you can get to have a drink while sitting in the water because there is a small bar on one side. Lots of help from the desk about activities and maps and also the room service works well. The restaurant is pretty nice located next to the pool and also the quality of the food is pretty nice (thanks chefs! ). They provide also massages in their spa for a good deal. Definitely recommend this place.

We loved staying here! Location is perfect for all the local attractions & eateries. Despite the amazing selections available in Port Douglas we found ourselves often dining in their onsite Restaurant as we could not fault one dish and found ourselves trying them all! The Coral Trout Risotto was absolutely delicious but their lamb rack was a close contender! The mini-rainforest throughout was an amazing touch and the staff really made our stay. Special mention to Simon & Dylan.

Chic hotel with large rooms and a very nice green and water-run area. The pool is very nicely nestled between trees and the restaurant that is currently being rebuilt. Everything in all recommended for a few days of downtime!

The hotel is just a few kilometres from the city centre of Port Douglas, but is easily accessible by car or shuttle bus. The beach is about 300m away but good to reach via a road and a little busy road (swimming but because of the jellyfish there eh not) Our room was large and modern furnished. The staff were very helpful and the room was very comfortable. The bed had come a little in the years, the feathers groan quite tidy; We were able to sleep well.
The breakfast was very good and offered a variety of food, which we can only recommend.
The pool is nice and plenty of chairs are provided. These are of a simpler design and not very comfortable. Pool towels are provided and exchanged directly upon request.
Free Wi-Fi is only available in the lobby and restaurant. There, however, with poor reception and too slow.

It is a beautiful location with kind and friendly staffed. The room was lovely and cool. The only downside was that they were doing construction in the pool/bar area. It was all stills usability it just look away from the amazing atmosphere.

Nicely located in the heart of Port Douglas, with very well behaved courteous staff. Well equipped kitchen facilities, good size pool, and lovely pool bar. Will return.

The hotel is on the main road into Port Douglas, a 10 minutes from the town centre. It is a short walk to 4 mile beach, which is great for walking, but it is not a swimming beach. It is on the route for tour and reef operater pickups. Our room was self catering, but room service and a restaurant are available. The gym is small, but functional. The pool is popular. The room was not luxurious, but we'll appointed. This time we had the one bedroom, which sleeps 4, 2 in the bedroom, 2 on the pull out couch. There was a single bathroom. Our previous stay we had a 2 bedroom unit that sleeps 6 with an additional room, and had an additional en suite bathroom. Our room was self service so if you want sheets and towels changed, you have to take them to reception to swap out. Pool towels are available at the pool. Service was efficient and friendly.

Pool and restaurant area are great! Resort could be in middle of rainforest but no balcony is a pain.

We were very excited when we first arrived but as days go by we keep running into some problems that made us feel a little uncomfortable and/or not important especially as Wyndham members. Hoping that they take some of our suggestions to upgrade member privileges etc. Staff were friendly, restaurant menu could do with a few extra main meal choices, there is no chicken dish for people who don’t eat red meat or seafood. It’s a lovely atmosphere, happy to sit by the pool enjoying our drinks but there’s also no section where you can bring your own food or drinks by the pool, have to buy from bar and bistro… an ATM would be very helpful! A token system would be much more convenient for kids at the games room especially if the parents don’t have cash on them and/or Wyndham members should be able to play for free like the pool table. Lagoon pool and bar are lovely oh and Jeremy the waitor at the bistro is fantastic!

Nice staff. Clean rooms. Breakfast is a regular continental breakfast not too good. Facilities appear to be due for remodeling. Haven't tried dinner here. Location is great.

Very nice place to stay. Resort is starting to look a little tired and can do with a little TLC. Restaurant food was beautiful and the staff were fantastic. Best place to be was the pool with the swim up bar.

The Ramada Resort Port Douglas is a very lovely place to get away from the rat race of life. Situated a short 2 minute walk from the world famous Four Mile Beach, nestled in amongst a natural forest. The Tree Bar is surrounded by a large pool made to look like a natural running creek, with a swim up bar. The rooms are beautiful and well kept. The service throughout the resort is of a very high standard.

Nice clean rooms and comfortable bed. Beautifully landscaped. All the guests and staff we spoke to agreed the pool was too cold. Just a few degrees warmer would have made a big difference. Restaurant meals were disappointing on several occasions. The barramundi was great.

Friendly and courteous staff as you would expect in a place like this. I love the peaceful feeling that you get when you enter the board walk with tall trees, palms and other tropical plants shading the way. The pool and restaurant are located together with a nice balance of tree canopy.

Beautiful place to stay! Great access! 24 hour reception. The only issue we had was that there seeemed to be some sort of bug in our bed that bit my wife overnight. But they were great and changed all our linen upon request. Overall I would recommend!

Rooms are spacious, the resort is great to be in and around. It is quite and oh so relaxing. You don't have to leave if you don't wish to!

The place is nice, really beautiful. However I needed an accessible room and they've said that the room would fit my needs. When I got there the bathroom wasn't as good as it was supposed to be. For sure it's very tricky for a paraplegic take a shower on it's own. There are ramps everywhere, although most of them are very steep. The swimming pool is really hard to get in and out without any help, it doesn't have any corner. My point is that I called them before booking a room and they called back two days later confirming that they had an available accessible room. This mistake cost me a day of my holiday, because I wasted a whole day finding another hotel and moving. Such a disappointing experience.

As locals in Port Douglas, we saw on our supermarket docket, a discount for dining there, a great incentive to dine at the Ramada. We visited the restaurant and made our enquiry re-validity of using the docket on New Year's Eve, and the OK was given so we made our reservation. Our meal was OK, nothing special and we had a bill for the two of us totalling $110. Upon presenting the voucher, our discount was $9. We could not accept that a voucher, that was advertised as the value of one main meal ended up as $9, the mains were all over $20. We had bread and a salad as entrée and the salad alone was $16 and we both had main courses and yet the only benefit for the voucher was $9, outrageous. It really spoilt our night. Trying to explain to staff the unfairness of the deal and then resulting with the explanations of the discount as totally unacceptable. We won't be back.

From the moment we arrived on our honeymoon at the Ramada is was paradise. From the beautiful gardens and walkways and the tranquil setting in the rainforest gardens. We had a wonderful time here. The lagoon pool is very relaxing and welcoming. We enjoyed cocktails at the swim up bar and lazy afternoons unwinding. The restaurant food is of high standard. The buffet breakfast offered a wide selection of tasty food. Our room was privately booked and was very comfortable and clean. I haven't stayed here but we constantly use the facilities provided by this hotel. There is a good range of services and friendly staff. The local shuttle bus into the town departs from here. Be prepared to use this bus often since there I'd nothing useful in this area, except for the great beach.

Very relaxing stay with beautiful tropical lagoon setting.

Great Value. For us this was perfect because our friends were staying in a house five minutes away. If you want to be close to the strip of shops and resturants, dont pick this place. The hotel provided good service, manicured grounds at a great value. We had a car so it wasnt a big deal for us to be so far from the main strip. They do have a shuttle for a small charge to take you into town.
