Walking distance to everything. Mockas. Pies just downstairs with other eateries so close by. Spa in the room was fabulous.

Great staff, safe car garaging first the Camaro ZL1. So close to the main st bars, shops & restaurants!

Very clean room. Great location. Walk to restaurants and bars etc. Lovely pool area. Very relaxing.

Very awkward when the apartment is not manned, all so when you book with 3 people and you only get one lot of everything eg… shampoo, coffee, tea, milk etc a bit rude? otherwise apartment was pretty awesome.

Unfortunately, I did not have a positive experience due to another guest or tradesperson's inability to understand that the hospitality industry has a responsibility to each guest to ensure that guest's comfort. What I kept hearing throughout the night and until dawn were sounds similar to scrubbing, painting, pulling stuff across the floor, knocks and bangs etc — secret reno maybe? Consequently, I had zero sleep as every few minutes i'd hear a knock, or dropping of tools or scraping, or whatever — very annoying, as I needed to sleep. I left next morning.

We booked our trip to Port Douglas through Flight Centre and they booked us into the Mantra In the Village. Location wise, its perfect — convenient, close to all amenities, nice restaurants nearby within walking distance. You get free parking as well. We got a room facing the main road and it got noisy in the morning with the road works, rubbish collecting trucks and road cleaning vehicles. Its okay if you want to wake up early anyway. There is no cooking facilities or a microwave in the apartment so a bit inconvenient — but you get a toaster and kettle with proper plates, knives, forks etc. There is no room service and if you want fresh towels etc. You'll need to pick it up from reception. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Although the reception may not be manned all the time, you can go to the Mantra around the corner to speak with someone. All in all, its not too bad. Just don't except a five star place or service.

Cheap accommodation in the heart of town. Cleanliness & maintenance was pretty ordinary. Noisy room, sounded like the pool pump was next door and running 24/7.

Rooms are great, really spacious and well appointed, however it felt like the people in the room next door were good friends because we could hear their TV & bathroom visits like we were in the room with them. Not their fault. They'd paid for a room too, which should have given all of us privacy for the price. But alas no.

Great place in the middle of lots of shops. Perfect for tourists.

Great location, rooms were clean and air-conditioned. The lack of staff on site, as well as if you need anything such as additional towels, toilet paper etc requires you to contact another office puts a sour note on the trip.

Very well setup apartment in the centre of the village great for two people plenty of room spa on the veranda great place to stay undercover parking as well.

Loved our stay, will stay here again. Staff were great and room was lovely… Thank you.

Great location, rooms were fine, reception was usually unstaffed and the second bed was a stretcher so I slept on the couch instead.

I just can't believe how dirty this place is! Last night was our first night and I was almost too scared to get into the bed. 2 glasses had lipstick on them and the bins in the bathrooms and the kitchen are filthy on the outside. I am too scared to look on the inside. The table, coffee table and side table were not wiped down and had rings on them. The table has a very bad wobble which cleaners should have noticed if they had bothered to wipe down the table! There are no exhaust fans in the bathrooms. The shutters in the spa room do not close. The door to the spa is very difficult to open and close. The tracks for sliding mirrors are full of dirt and dust. In fact, everywhere there is a groove on the floor is full of dirt and dust! The place is so grotty that every time I sit down or touch anything, I start to itch. It was cold last night, but there was no way I was going to use one of the crusty, dusty blankets in the wardrobe! Luckily, I had brought my coat and used it as a blanket. We are stuck here until Friday! It might be a great location, but it is dirty and only has a part-time receptionist. I rang reception to let them know about the glasses and the bins. I was advised that all the cleaning staff had gone for the day and someone would attend to it tomorrow. I rang reception again at 7.30 this morning to ask about housekeeping services which don't exist and was told to call back after 8.00am when someone who knew would be available.
