Fabulous, definitely stay here again. Rooms are great and location is perfect, close to everything.

An amazing place perfectly located in the center of PD. Pools were amazing and our rooms were very spacious and had a great view overlooking the pool. The girls in the front office were truly awesome and accommodating in every way possible. Will definitely be staying here again on our next trip.

Great room, we had a swim out apartment. It was lovely until half the children of Port Douglas were dropped off by their parents for what seemed to be an organised child’s birthday party. Nothing like 20 screaming children splashing about in the pool for a peaceful weekend away.

We stayed in an airbnb in the Mantra. Great facilities, particularly the swimming pool.

Very nice hotel. Though lack of daily room servicing inclusion leaves something to be desired.

Ok place for a few days bit tired needs work.

Very disappointed with our accomodation. First we had booked a 2 bed apartment which had holes in the some of the doors, the walls were all very scuffed one of the showers had tiles missing, the dining table was all rusting and yuck and over all was not clean. When we went to speak to the Manager they didn’t want to give us a refund as it’s against their policy. So I took the manager to the room to show her exactly what her rooms were like. She agreed to a partial refund but would take over a week to refund us therefore we would have been out of pocket for more accommodation. They agreed to change our room, couldn’t give us another apartment so they gave us a dual room which was highly impractical with a toddler and the manager basically said “not our problem your sleeping arrangements”. Even though we had booked and paid for a 2 bed apartment. Also they don’t offer free Wifi and most resorts in Port Douglas do. Over all very disappointed with the service and accomodation. Only saving grace was the location in the heart of town.

Nice pools and central location. Rooms cleaned 1x/week or for $44/day. 1 free pool towel then $2 thereafter.

Nice pool area. Rooms ok but a little outdated. Shower slippery hard to get in and out and very low water pressure.

Bathroom wasnt cleaned properly. Atmosphere is good staff were lovely.

Great for families. Spent Christmas day there with friends. 2 pools and a large outdoor bbq area. Right in the middle of macrossan street.

The location, room, pool etc. Were all great however our room was advertised with free Wi-Fi which was not the case.
$15 per day for 3GB of data — little disappointing.

I just saw our room and my mood went down instantly. The room is small, has no windows, and the floors are dirty — I don't even want to put my suitcase on it and take my things out. The balcony can only be accessed through the toilet and is overlooking petrol station — how romantic. There is no windows in the room, only ones in the toilet and so the bathroom smell travels from it to the bedroom. Oh, and there is no one at reception after 7pm, so I can't even to speak to anyone. This is the worst hotel experiences I had so far in Australia, the place is overpriced and is a maximum 2 stars, reminds me more of a backpackers accomodation rather than hotel. Ps — a couple of hours later — I can also clearly hear most of the things that happen in the rooms around, e. G. People preparing something to eat and just talking and laughing.

Relatively quiet apartment hotel in the middle of town. Moderate kitchenette, has what you need but not too much more. Clean and comfortable, well located and good price. Spa was a nice touch!

Over priced. Much better accommodation around. The place is dated, needs much refurbishment. Noisy, very poor lighting, extremely disappointed.

Location is great close walking distance to shop's and beaches rooms are good and service is great.

My wife and I stayed here over Christmas. We arrived too late for check in but the after hours set up was great and we enjoyed our room. It was clean, comfortable and with a balcony next to the pool. The hotel is right in the middle of town and so convenient to everything. The only thing I would say the room needed is a microwave. Would have been handy given the time of year and how many shops were closed. But we'll be back when in Port Douglas again.

2 bedroom swimm out Appartment with dual key Awsome, pool fantastic! Can not fault this place. However front desk staff need some serious customer service training, I don't mean to sound like an anoying customer but just some feedback. Not just 1 but we came across 3 different staff members on different occasions. 1 was rude, 2nd had no idea and gave us wrong information and the 3rd did not feel like helping at all and seemed not to care. I feel that if the staff was better this place would be perfect!
I would highly recommend the swim out appartment. And Mentra Heritage it's a Fantastic place, just keep away from reception staff if you need help. Not helpful. Do your own research.
