Great location Fantastic rooms.

If more than 5 stars was possible I would give Le Cher Du Monde 10 stars! Absolutely outstanding customer service from the very first contact, Lyn and Robert were friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We spent 10 glorious days (extending our initial 7 days by 3 more) at this peaceful oasis to celebrate our wedding anniversary and my 60th birthday. Six of our friends also stayed on our recommendation. Thank you Lyn and Robert for making our stay the best holiday ever!

Spent 7 nights at this great place. Loved the spacious apartment and on asking got our pool view. Spoke to hosts a few times, very helpful and lovely to chat to. Other guest were lovely to chat too around the relaxing pool area. Spot on position in the Main Street and underground car parking. Apartment very clean with complimentary tea, coffee and milk and bathroom shampoo etc. Will definitely be returning the Le Cher Du Monde, hopefully very soon. Thanks for making our holiday, after twice canceling due to COVID, a great place to stay. 😎

An absolute pleasure to stay here! Our room was perfect and extremely comfortable and clean. The Owners are lovely and were so very helpful. Booked us on a fabulous Daintree Tour and really looked after us. It was also so peaceful and no loud neighbors. Central to everything. Perfect location. Highly recommend to all. We will definitely stay here again. ♥️

Wonderful and very helpful owners. Made you feel very welcome and amazed us by asking if we needed help with our luggage. Have done a lot of travelling and that’s the first time we we have had that offer. We do hope business picks up for them as they surely deserve a better year.

We had a fabulous quiet apartment in the heart of Macrossan Street. Clean, great value and supurb location within a short stroll of almost everything! Our hosts we're friendly and helpful. Highly recommend @lecherdumonde to anyone seeking affordable style in mid town Port Douglas.

This is one of the places that ticks boxes… quiet, clean, updated, close to everything, friendly staff.

I really enjoyed my time at Le Cher Du Monde. We were greeted with a bottle of champagne for being on honeymoon. The staff where really friendly and it's in a fantastic location.

Very relaxing and comfortable. Clean comfortable rooms and clean outdoor area it was cleaned everyday. Friendly caretaker and wife. Very helpful.

We haven't even left yet and I need to write this review! The rooms are amazing and they have really thought of everything you might need for a short or long stay. Stocked kitchenette, tidy bathrooms with plenty of supplies and even a little clothes horse!
Lyn and Rob are extremely helpful and kind.
Will definitely be coming back time after time. We have travelled a lot and this sweet hotel/apartments are the whole package.

Best place to stay in Port Douglas. Short walk to the marina, the inlet and 4 mile beach. Right in amongst the restaurants and shops. Excellent comfortable apartments.

We had a wonderful 5 night stay. Our 1 bedroom apartment was very comfortable. The rooms were lovely and clean and the bed was very comfy. Robert was very helpful. Ideal location right in the Main Street. We would recommend Le Cher Du Monde.

No personal experience dealing with this business but after reading a response from them to a review my sister left that wasn’t 5 stars and completely in their favour they chose to try place the blame on her. It doesn’t matter how nice your amenities or services are if you can’t accept that some fault is your own then you are in the wrong business. Word of mouth can ruin a business and therefore I will NEVER stay there or recommend to anyone I know after seeing the way you treat people.
Also adjust available amenities, no use having cots and high chairs advertised as available if you are an adults only and do not want children staying there!

Beautiful resort, close to everything so you get your steps in for the day. Very helpful staff who are very knowledgeable about the area. Shopping is great aswell.

We spent a week here, beautiful apartments. Lyn, Robert and Lee made us feel very welcome during our stay. Centrally located, 5 minutes from the beach and marina. Convenient, and even better, very quiet and relaxed for being on the main road. Would highly recommend.

We had a lovely 2 weeks there. Everything was perfect. We will definetely be back. The staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. This place is position perfect — so close to enjoy the surrounding restaurants.

Great self catering serviced appartments set in garden setting with pool and bbq area. All units have own outdoor table & chair setting. Well appointed large appartments. Very friendly management right in the heart of port Douglas.

Great place central to everything in Port Douglas. Car parking is first in best dressed (can park on the street). Stairs to rooms no lifts. Great managers to help with your bookings and general information.

Stayed for 3 nights and extended for an extra night… love this place. Lee at reception is a great host and set us up with great tours; she is so helpful and lovely! The pool area is so relaxing & the rooms are very spacious & comfortable.

I’ve stayed at Le Cher Du Monde multiple times and highly recommend these boutique apartments for accomodation in Port Douglas! The location is ideal for anyone without a car, but also has plenty of off-street parking for those with their own vehicle. The rooms themselves are extremely comfortable, clean and quiet: you wouldn’t believe you are on the doorstep to the main street of Port Douglas! The poolside is immaculately kept (courtesy of the manager/owner Rob, whom we saw tending to it every morning) and though it’s a somewhat intimate setting I found it to be a refreshing change from the big name resorts… and we never struggled for a free sun lounge despite being at full capacity! Rob is a phenomenal manager. Genuine customer service can be hard to come by but for Rob it comes so naturally. He has gone above and beyond in making each of my stays as comfortable as possible and shows a genuine interest in not only his guests needs but the guests themselves. As such I can’t imagine staying anywhere else on my next trip to Port Douglas! Thanks so much to Rob and the team at Le Cher, I look forward to seeing you again soon!

Location is great, and Rob is a very friendly guy. The toilet is not perfectly isolated from the room though! Also remember this is a self catering place, so don't expect a made up bed every day.

Highly recommended place to stay if you plan to visit Port Douglas one day. Perfect location with beautiful, large and exceptional clean rooms. The owner, Rob, is extremely helpful and friendly. If you wonder where to book the tours, where to eat, what to do, dont hesitate to give Rob a call. My whole trip would not be that pleasant without his help. Thank you Rob so much and no doubt, we definitely stay with Le Cher Du Monde next time we come up again.

Nice and central within Port Douglas inclusive of the usual elements, swimming pool, Wi-Fi and a great manager.

Returned this year for our 2nd stay, as per last year the room was great, it was clean, bright, spacious and comfortable. You can not get a better location as is absolute dead centre of everything that you can do in Port Douglas and nothing is more than 5 minutes walk. But what makes Le Cher Du Monde is Robert the manager and the best host you could get. I have travelled around the world and stayed in a lot of places but you will never get a more friendly, personable and helpful host than Robert, he has fantastic local knowledge and will advise you as needed and is always up for a chat and a laugh. We have already booked to go back next year.

Great location in the heart of Port Douglas, with the marina and 4 mile beach accessible with a 5 min walk either way. Rooms are very comfortable and cosy, there's free underground parking and staff is great. Would definitely stay here again.

I wish I could give more stars! Everything in our four days stay at Le Cher was perfect. The room was beautiful, with a nice balcony and a spa. But what makes this place so special is the hospitality provided by Rob and Leona. They make you feel like at home. I hope to go back some day!

We stayed recently for four nights and loved the place. Great location for walking around town, the owners are friendly and very helpful with information about tours and things to see and do. Clean, modern and well maintained place, the web site photos and information are accurate. Happy to recommend.

Beautifully renovated, sparkling clean appartments right in the heart of Port Douglas. Fantastic king size bed. Fabulous outdoor entertainment area. The owner / manager Rob booked all our tours for us which meant we got a sunset cruise on the Aquarius free of charge. Our 5 night stay was perfect, we will definately be going back. Our thanks to Rob and his fantastic staff for making our stay perfect.

Spacious and clean apartments within walking distance of everything. Cooking facilities available with even a BBQ next to the beautiful pool for a laid-back meal. Rob the owner is the nicest and most easy-going guy, happy to help point out attractions and local eateries.

Top destination, right in the heart of town and close to the Marina. Most helpful and friendly Management I have ever met. The rooms were fantastic, the bed SUPER comfortable and the vibe was fantastic. Rob gave great advice on where to eat, the tours to take etc, we were delighted every time. My only regret was that we couldn't stay longer! This is certainly the only place I would consider staying when next in Port Douglas :)

This is one of the best places I've stayed at. Gorgeous apartments, beautiful view of the pool and lush greenery. If you're looking for a relaxing tranquil holiday then Le Cher Du Monte is for you.

I have just stayed in a front room. A balcony overlooking the street which I liked. It is off season but heard no noise when doors were closed especially not the nightly shriek of the starlings. Jet turbo bath was a lovely feature.

Stayed here for our honeymoon. Lovely place. Ask for a room at the back of the property for total privacy and silence.

We decided on impulse to take a weeks vacation a week ago and went to Le Cher Du Monde. We booked via Flight Centre and Rob from the hotel contacted us. All I can say is that he was absolutely amazing, so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. He booked the airport transfers for us, tours and any information we required he was right on the ball. The room was immaculate and extremely comfortable, we could not fault it. It was only a five minute walk to the beach and located in the middle of the main street near all restaurants and shops. A jewel in the crown. Thank you once again. We will be back!

Had a great time in Port Douglas, close to everything, good price, great apartments. Rob was the an excellent host and the man to see for all your tourist advise. We will be back.
