Great pool area. Apts close to all amenities.

Fabulous CHILD FREE resort, ideal for singles and couples — straight or gay. Sure there is no housekeeping but that is normal for a self catering apartment. And you don't have the pressure of having to be out while the room is serviced. Free undercover secure parking and the resort is close to all that Macrossen Street has to offer, but far enough away from the noise. Beautiful heated large pool so no need to walk the five minutes to 4 mile beach. Fabulous hosts. We will definitely be back.

Not as expected sadly. Not serviced : every 3 days fresh linen supplies to change yourselves. Reason; Covid! However ideally suited and close to everything g. Lovely pool but you need to be a contortionist to get out of the pool at your room. People booked in with a 2 year old and a 15 tier old to be told “child free hotel” part of group had to find alternative accom. Just a bit misleading. Remember to take down old information if no longer relevant.

Located on the edge of town, with a lovely tropical garden surrounding a large swimming pool.
Rooms are spacious and well equipped. Very well managed and serviced apartments.

Lovely hosts, if you need anything from a recommendation to a minor thing fixed in your room, they are right on it. Spacious rooms/apartments very tastefully furnished. Somewhere I would definitely come back too and recommend.

Selfish scumbags. Will not refund bookings that cannot be fulfilled due to Covid-19 travel restrictions.

Very friendly and relaxed. We were fortunate enough to be upgraded and the apartment was great with everything we could have asked for overlooking the pool. Close walk to the town where there were bars, shops and restaurants.

Very friendly and helpful people who ran it… nothing was too. Much trouble. They gave us good advice on where to visit and airport info too.
Great rooms, great to be able to do our washing.
We used the outdoor barbeque twice. And enjoyed sitting in the shade around the pool. Thanks for an amazing stay in December.

Great price for a great location. Reception lady was extremely friendly and helpful. The pool area is lovely. The room itself is tidy and serviceable. Bed is soft but maybe overly so. The only one niggle was one of the bathroom walls had some tiles broken in — didn't affect us though.

Great place to stay especially if you're a non smoker and want some child free time. Amanda at reception is fantastic with her local knowledge and friendly service.

This is a great place to stay. Modern clean rooms. Quiet. Tropical, with pool and hot tub, and close to town. Would stay there again.

It only has four stars as it is not a full blown hotel, however that is not saying anything detrimental about it, we had a fabulous air condition room over looking the pool. The staff are friendly and attentive, the premises are clean and well maintained and it’s is only 5 minutes walk into the centre of town.

Hotel is located centrally, has a parking garage (keeps the car cool) and a nice pool and BBQ area. Rooms are clean and equipped with a small kitchen corner. Clean washing machines are available. Staff is very friendly and helped with confirming our tour. Balcony was a little bit too small. You get extra towels for your tour — very much appreciated!

Our 2nd visit and not disappointed. It is quiet, friendly, fully equiped family run place with an amazing pool, close to down town Port D, 4 mile beach and marina. The staff are friendly and are able to arrange local boat trips and tours. Fab place.

Beautiful hotel, was not disappointed by anything, lush greenery, beautiful swimming pool, very peaceful and relaxing. Close to pleanty of great food & bar places as well as activities during the day. Front counter staff very helpful& lady of front desk a real gem, lots of tips and good advice. Spotlessly Clean and spacious.

My wife and I have stayed at Meridian at least 5 times, maybe more. We love it because it's close to everything and literally a short stroll to Macrossan St or Four Mile. The pool is beautiful with the added bonus of having no kids. Rooms are meticulously clean with a modern vibe. Highly recommended and some of the best value accommodation in Port Douglas.

This hotel was exactly the way my wife and I wanted to start our honeymoon! Our room's balcony connected to the pool, really cool! Sue, the front desk manager was a pleasure to talk to everyday. She had plenty of answers and was more than helpful. Coming back here again!

We arrived at the Meridian in a panic as our booked accommodation had fallen through. The owner and staff were sympathetic to our plight and managed to find us accommodation, even though it was at some inconvenience to them. We will forever be grateful to them for saving our vacation and enabling us to stay at their beautiful hotel. Special thanks go to the wonderful lady on the front desk who helped to make us feel special. As we came from USA, we may not be back in Port Douglas again but will always remember their kindness, and their superior accommodation.

I can only echo the sentiments of the other reviews on here. The room and facilities here are excellently appointed and the staff are so very friendly and helpful. Modern, clean apartments with air conditioning and ceiling fans. Great Wi-Fi too! Thanks.

Everything is fantastic and what we wanted. Air con turns itself off which is annoying at night… but all good.

Stayed here for the second time for an extended Queens birthday long weekend. Staff are very friendly, poolside room was well finished and comfortable. The place is also in a great location being close to the main strip, the beach and the marina. Couldn't ask for anything else. Will probably stay again!

What a place, staff are really helpful. Room is spacious with all the amenities. Close to all attractions like the barrier reef. Would recommend.
