We had a 5 night stay at Mowbray on the sea. The manager was very helpful and informative. The accomodation was clean, comfortable, and the apartment was well appointed. The pool was lovely and large, and even has pool noodles, and toys for the kids. The apartment is family friendly and even has access to strollers, beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach towels are also included. The apartment has AC in everything room, which made our stay very comfortable especially with all the humidity outside. Across the road is the Surf club and next to us is the Lighthouse cafe. We are less than a minute to the beach. We would definitely return on a future holiday. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Great location, walking distance to the beach and all of the shops and restaurants. Very clean and we'll equipped. Lovely pool with clean BBQ area. We definitely recommend Mowbray By The Sea and would happily come back for another stay 😊

Children enjoyed the pool and adults enjoyed the BBQ facilities. Staff friendly and helpful. Ask about special uber rates from airport as we didn't find out until too late. Beach and coffee shop 2mins from door. Main shopping strip 6mins and mariner within walking distance 😁

Mowbray By The Sea is our absolute favourite home away from home when in Port Douglas.

Fantastic location. Small unit complex. Good size units. Lovely owners/management. Convenient secure parking. Quiet & Relaxed.

Friendly and helpful staff, great location close to the beach and shops. Little extras in the kitchen like salt, pepper and oil was great. Stayed at many places across a few countries and haven't had this before. Highly recommend this accommodation,. Thanks for going the extra mile.

Loved our stay! Rooms were very generous and each room had air con. Kitchen, laundry were well equiped. Loved the balcony! It was very spacious and we enjoyed our meals out there. Fantastic pool. My daughter spent most of her stay in it. Definitely worth the stay it is so close to the beach and only a short walk to main shopping strip.

Our family has stayed twice at Mowbray By The Sea and we will definitely be back. The location is fantastic as are the facilities, only a short walk to the beach which is perfect for young children. The only tears we had is trying to get the kids out of the pool in the afternoon! Staff are friendly and very helpful, nothing is a bother. Recently our daughter left her much loved soft toy behind, and management went above and beyond to find it and return it safely to our care, their empathy was wonderful and they were so quick to respond to our hope to find it. The apartments are well equipped and spacious for a family. We look forward to returning to Port Douglas and the Mowbray in 2019!

We stayed for 7 night's, was one of the best places we've stayed in. Rooms were spotless and spacious, very homey. The pool was perfect and kids loved the pool toys provided. Martin was an excellent host too! Will definitely be back. Thank you.

Amazing accommodation! So close to everything, free parking. They provided kids toys for the beach, beach chairs and umbrellas. The pool was warm enough for my toddler the rooms were perfect, kitchen was fully stocked. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. So happy we found this place, will be coming back here for sure!

Pleasant experience. The pool is nice for people who like to swim in that you can do some form of "laps" if you use the term flexibly enough. Staff is super accommodating and location gets you close enough to everything you need.

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mowbray by the Sea. The accommodation was excellent and well located, just a short walk to the beach. The pool and spa were a great way to finish off the day. Martin and Theresa were excellent hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I would highly recommend Mowbray as a place to stay in Port Douglas.

Excellent location. A few mins walk to Four Mile Beach, and 5 mins to shops, bars and restaurants. Site owners are very helpful and friendly. All rooms are different, as many are privately owned. The room we stayed in was a home from home. Highly recommend.

Big apartment, lovely pool with toys for the children. Close to the beach. The manager Andrew is a superfriendly, welcoming host and looking to help you with anything. Would stay again.
