Very comfortable and the receptionist is very nice and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay on the 4th floor over looking the pool. Friendly helpfull staff. Room was very clean, bed was comfy, kitchenette and a small lounge overall very comfy. Cant wait to go back. Thank you.

Wasn't here long but very friendly staff and the room was nice and roomy and quiet.

Had a lovely two nights here with my young Daughters. Quiet Garden Room at the back. Friendly Staff. Yummy Chinese Restaurant next door!. We'd love to stay again one day.

Not impressed. Staff were idiots would of much rather slept on the beach. Only good thing about the place is the location. Never again.

Modern and clean rooms that are given fresh towels and bed made daily. In a good location not far from Coles and macca's.

Generously sized rooms and nice staff.

I have only stayed in room 111 so can't speculate on the rest of the resort, but if you really don't want to get any sleep, yet pay full price, go for room 111. It was terrible. Any noise from room 110 will end up in room 111 and the door next to 111 slams (unbelievably loudly) all night as people go to the carpark all night and morning. I won't be back.

Our room was lovely, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was perfect with beach, markets and eateries walking distance from the motel. The weather was the only inconsistency with intermittent rain and sunshine.

Clean and comfy, a little on fhe noisy side being on the main road but close to the essentials.

In the process of being renovated. The room itself is nice if a little basic, but strong vibrations in the plumbing with the shower and taps were loud and could be heard between rooms. The staff however were all very friendly and helpful.

We stayed here on the weekend and it was absolutly lovely. The service was on point and so friendly. The cleanliness of the rooms were unreal. And the pool and spa area was amazing. Defently staying here again next time we go to qld for a holiday. Amazing place and highly recommend it.

Lovely place to stay — very friendly helpful reception staff. Nothing too much trouble. Handy position — can walk to beach, supermarket, cafes etc.

Really enjoyed my stay. Staff very helpful from housekeeping to reception. Has balcony seating, foxtel and enough room for a two seater couch. Large bathroom for the price. I would recommend it and come again. Also close to a 24hr maccas and 7/11 so very handy. Next time I'll try the cafe across the road.

Large rooms and a bath in the bathroom was a bonus. Good location, staff relatively friendly and theres a thai restaurant right underneath. The rooms are old and dated and could do with a facelift.

I've stayed here before, generally good location and value for money however tonight has been painful. The TV in the room is not working, and the Wi-Fi info I have been given is invalid. Having no reception to help out is annoying.

A forced change of itinerary meant we had to find accommodation between Yamba and Sunshine Coast so we decided to stay two nights on the Gold Coast. Whilst Outrigger met our budget, it is an unusual budget 'resort' that was OK for a couple nights but would not recommend it for longer. High rise rooms all under a central management who, though very helpful, seemed to have litlel control over room facilities. It served its purpose but not much more!

It is OK, if you want to save some money. The location is actually very nice, and the beaches are not crowded, it is away from the Surface paradise action tho.

Outrigger was perfect for a nice short stay. They were amazing in terms of room service and how they treated you while you were there. Amazing people, amazing facilities.

We love the Outrigger — its like our second home. This weekend we held our wedding reception in the beautiful back gardens nr the pool & our whole wedding party loved the clean & fresh rooms available! Staff are always so accomodating & amazing — going back this week for a long stay for school holidays.

We are two Canadians who live in Queenstown, NZ and travelled to Burleigh Heads and stayed at the Outrigger Resort for 8 days for a little winter get away. We had the absolute best time! Not only is it a 60 second walk to the beach, the owners are the nicest people you will ever meet! They were so welcoming and gave us everything that we needed. The hotel even has a pool with sun tanning chairs out back with a delicious restaurant attached to it as well. We absolutely loved enjoying coffee downstairs in by the pool in the morning served by wonderful staff. We were always replenished with fresh towels, soap, shampoo, coffee, and more. We had such a spacious room with a beautiful balcony on the ocean side. There is a TV as well as great internet connection. We would 100% come back and enjoy another stay here! Would highly recommend!

Just spent a month in Australia/New Zealand and used the Outrigger as a base. After reading some earlier Google reviews, I was rather concerned about checking in. Luckily my concerns were unfounded as it was really good. I can only assume some of the earlier ones were written when the previous owners were in charge. The couple who have just taken over have obviously worked really hard to bring it back to life. A lot of time and energy has obviously been put in. They were always polite and cheerful. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were spotless, airy and bright. Any staff I met always made a point of asking me, "how's it going? " and "have a great day". The pool was always clean and the water set at a nice temperature. The spa was like getting into a warm bath. This place is amazingly good value. I have paid lots more for hotels and they have not been as good as this. A lovely cafe, (Vice Baby) has just opened next door, so breakfast is a few steps away. The Outrigger is in a fantastic position with shops, restaurants, bars and the beach, all within a few minutes walk. If you want a stay on the Gold Coast, this is perfect.
