Friendly front desk. Beautiful facilities (game room for kids. Spa and sauna for adults). Nice view from the rooms. Kitchen is big and its clean.

Lovely place with plenty of activities for a family to enjoy together — putt putt, tennis, games room, pools, spa etc.

Great for families. Close to the beach and shops. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and well appointed. The grandchildren love it.

I've been coming to Mariner for 25yrs+ and it's always been a great family resort. Feels like home away from home.

Discovered this place 20 odd years ago, you’re not waited on hand and foot, but it’s a great “base camp” when we visit the Gold Coast, even more value now that we are a family and not just a couple.

Rooms are beautiful. The spa bath is huge!

Great facilities — excellent location right across road from beach and easy walk to supermarkets, restaurants, coffee shops, bottle shops and surf club.

Lovely sauna and indoor pool. No smokking zone all area, great for family and non smoker.

Spent 10 lovely days at Resort, guest of friends who are time share holders. Perfect setting and surrounds, pool & spa. Beautiful beach just across the road, shops&clubs nearby, no need car as bus service is terrific.

I am all the way from Nepal, Whenever any Nepalese and any passionate traveler all over the world can come Gold Coast, I strongly recommend to be over here and have awesome experiences in moderate prices!

We used our timeshare exchange for a last minute break so having a staycation on the Gold Coast during School holidays with the kids. Love the resort and location and it's close enough to pop home to feed the cat and fish.

Its a great family resort, staff are friendly and helpful. They make you feel welcome and nothing is a problem.

Great place to stay for family or single, staff great, close to many shops & cafes.

This resort is in a very good position in the gold coast. It's less than a minutes walk from the beach (and provides things like surf boards), it has a Coles and Aldi walking distance down the road, it has a great view of the water from most rooms, restaurants are everywhere surrounding the resort. It is a little outdated in the rooms but nothing that is an actual problem, it's just older parts in the toilet and laundry really. Parking is a little difficult and tight in the underground, but its no problem if you have a small car, SUV's may have a little trouble with the pillars though (I was in an SUV and it wasn't too bad, just have to take your time). The resort is less than a half hour drive from the theme parks (dream world, movie world etc…) so very easy to get there. The resort has very helpful and friendly staff that will go out of their way to help you. Around I would say this is a very worth while stay, there are a few things they could improve on but they are very minor and do not lessen your experience. It's a great place and if I ever come up to the gold coast again I would stay here.

Mariner Shores has it all. Love this resort. Close to beach public transport. Kids will love it. Friendly staff n very helpful. I'll be back.

Mariner shores is fantastic! Spacious rooms and a nice view of the beach. They have indoor and outdoor pools and both with a spa. Will definitely stay here again.

Mariner shores is quiet resort fronting the beach. Have been coming here for over 25 years and love it. They have been modernising the rooms which are starting to look really good.

Love Mariner Shores Resort. We've had some of our best family holidays here with our kids over the last 12 years. The resort is extremely well managed and is fantastically maintained. The facilities and location make it so special. In my view it is the best timeshare resort on the Gold Coast. We own here and one other very good resort in Coolangatta. Being so close to the beach and being able to walk the 2km (4km round trip) to Burleigh Heads and back each morning is great. This is the best resort for families with young kids. Nothing else comes close.

Great facilities for guests, young and old. Includes large chess board, mini golf, games room (no cost to play), adults lounge with pool tables, tennis court, roof top BBQs and a gym. A few more shaded areas around the pool would be great. Handy having a washing machine in the room and a full sized kitchen. Right opposite the beach. Not within the main shopping precinct but is walking distance, plus a major supermarket is nearby.

I have a timeshare that's part of my parents estate that needs to be sold. My lawyer has been trying to get in contact with the resort manager since October last year with very limited contact. Is anyone else having this sort of issue? If someone could point me in a better direction I'm all ears.

Staffs are friendly and the unit was clean enough. The best part is that it only takes literally 30seconds to the beach. Also, really close to shopping center/Coles and bus stop. I'd definitely come back here for a holiday :)

Accommodation is first rate, clean, quiet, excellent pool, bbq facilities gym, air conditioning, etc, been going there since 1986, more than happy.

Consistently the best mainland resort that I've been to. All you could ask for is on hand, it's spotlessly clean and well maintained. Somehow the resort never seems crowded with so many activities to enjoy.

Awesome facilities and location. Had issues with a staff member wrongly accusing one of us of smoking and treating us… Not a nice way to start a holiday!

Loving our stay here. The outdoor pool is cool, the indoor pool is warm, the beach is patrolled. We have had a couple of calls to maintenance, for standard minor things, they turned up the same day and helped. Pool furniture is clean and comfortable, it was good to see maintenance checking the water in all pools and spas. We borrowed a couple of boogie boards and a beach umbrella, these were well looked after too.

Been here a couple of times. Great view and good area to stay at. Only a few problems with the room I got last time (like the air conditioning did not work properly and the toilets too) but it is a good place with friendly people.

Peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The resort is close to the beach and other amenities. A must stay when visiting the Gold Coast.

Great front desk staff. Beautiful place and a super location. All the units face the ocean. We would recommend this resort. The only thing was that in our unit the main bathroom needed some repairs/upgrades. Advised the staff and they indicated that he was going to be looked after.

Used Groupon coupon, good selection salads, hot and cold meats and seafood including mexican and indian and glass of good wine. Service was efficient and friendly. Plates cleared quickly and water top ups.

Stayed in January 2016. Mariners has great facilities for all ages and don't have to take all the beach gear with you as they have it to borrow. Weather it be wet or sunny always something to do. Even when place is fully booked you don't see lots of people around as so much to do in resort as well as around the area. Lovely staff too.

We have been going to mariner shores since it opened. Initially as my brothers guest who bought his timeshare off the map. Enjoyed it so much we brought a week and it has become our family tradition to go there every January. We have lots of catch ups and family time there and everyone has a great time. We started our own family Facebook group/page of mariner shores photos and stories to keep it a bit organised. My kids have done the hashtag thing on many pics as well. Got heaps of memories there and look foward to many more. Our family has gotten bigger so we need more time and space. Love our time there.

Good resort near the beach. Has a few BBQ areas.
