Quarinine there was a nightmare food and service was horrible.

Much better quarantine than we expected…

Coming to this hotel as a family for hotel quarantine was very sceptical. They were lovely upon arrive. Myself and two children were taken to our room the stated there was only one bed and a pull out couch for two weeks. I pulled the couch out it was covered in stains and had little marks of blood on it and was just disgusting. We received our meals and it was beyond disappointing! we had a mini pizza and 8 potato gems my children we starving still.
I ate a youfoodz meal and it was just not nice at all. We received our lunch just youfoodz and another gross meal I love all food but it's just a no the snack was one Tim tam and a small container of chips that. Breakfast was toast the spreads were gross, we also got cornflakes if a handful is enough. My children had an apple and cornflakes for breakfast so we receive this everyday the same thing just slight switch up of snacks. I pay $128 per day $64 per adult $32 per children and that what we receive microwaveable meals and crap food! I'm beyond disappointed for the price we are having to pay.

The upper levels have great views and good Balcony to see the City lights. Well appointed rooms.

Although everyone’s expectations are different I can only speak about our experience. We are into the 2nd week of quarantine and we have no complaints at all. We have a spacious 1 bedroom apartment with a balcony. The food we have had provided has been good. We have a continental type breakfast with toast or croissants, cereal, fruit & yogurt. The lunch and dinner meals are ready meals from Youfoodz and we have had a good variety. We also have various snack provided, crisps, cheese & crackers, Mars bars & fruit etc. It has been a far better experience than we were expecting. We are able to have wine & beer delivered as well as soft drink which we have paid for ourselves.
The staff we have spoken to on the phone have all been friendly and polite when I have requested extra dishwashing powder, laundry detergent etc. All in all I’m pleased we were allocated this hotel to spend our quarantine in.

Only on day 2 of our quarantine and so happy with the hotel and staff. We were very nervous about the 2 weeks with 3 kids, 2 with special needs but room is fantastic and staff have all been so kind and helpful. Highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Quite nice, room was clean and spacious with nice design. Pool was nice but spa had mould in it. Staff were friendly and helpful, however a bit disappointed that our room had a leak with water seeping onto the carpet and there was no one able to fix it or no offer of a room swap.

I left a dress behind and called the hotel when I arrived home an hour later. They claimed it wasn't there, when I asked them to recheck because I know I left it there then they said they'd get back to me and haven't responded since. Very unhappy. Beautiful dress gone.

Was delightful, can't fault our stay at Mantra.

Staff are rude don't even bother with this place. Plenty of better places in Brisbane city.

Ask for hold on card to be processed early had to ring, to get them going after 5 days wouldn't stay here again not bad enough they took 200 bond most up market hotels only require a swipe of the card moves up with the times.

We loved this place, my teen daughter wished this was her own apartment. The central station is walking distance and there are many nearby restaurants.

The room was lovely and the view was excellent. However, the staff at the hotel were some of the most unhelpful I've ever come across. They were quite unfriendly and did not make us feel welcome at all.

Short 3 night stay with 4 friends. We had 2 x2 bedroom units. Giving us all a room and bathroom each. Great central location. Walking distance to Central Station and the Queen St Mall.
Very comfortable we were on the 23rd floor so fantastic views.
Only down fall were the pillows. Couldn’t find a comfortable one.
Would highly recommend.

Stayed in the penthouse sweet for a bucks party. Room was wonderful and clean when we arrived, beds were super confy. Only flaw I could really say is the patio areas had very little furniture/decor which made them feel low budget and unwelcoming, which is in stark contrast to the rest of the room.

So disappointed with our stay here. My boyfriend and I came up for a nice couple of nights away and without being told we got put in a disabled room that looked like a hospital. We went down to complain and they had no other rooms available which I get, but we paid full price with no compensation for. The next day we were getting put in another room (which they said would take an hour) and after walking through Brisbane waiting 3 and a half hours we called them and we could finally go to our new room. Then had to pay for parking underneath the hotel which we were never advised of even when we checked in. Really ruined our weekend and won’t be staying again and would never recommend.

View from the 24th floor is amazing. Huge apartment with everything you need including a spa bath. Difficult to find the parking at first.

Stayed in 20.01. Great views, very clean, large room. Has everything you need, laundry, dishwasher, balcony, etc. Internet m Wi-Fi is 11/4 mbps. Very bad.

Mantra on Edward was a good venue for a seminar I attended. Nice facilities, good mornings and afternoon tea and lunch.

Only stayed for the night as we went to a concert nearby. Hotel was near and tidy and quite centrally located which was nice!

Great service from the reception staff. I asked for a late check-out and was told it is $20 per hour after 10am. Overall wasnt a bad stay, everything worked and was clean, however I only stayed for one night so I didn't use the facilities or services.

Fantastic room that overlooks the city, private washing machine and heaps of space! Great price and location.

Clean, comfortable and really helpful when you need it. I would highly recommend signing up for Mantra+ to get 1gb worth of free Wi-Fi internet as well as other options. Super glad I get to stay here again next week.

Very nice appartment with an amazing view on the CBD. Great location for us since we got there from the airport on the air train which stops at Central Station just a couple blocks away. Will definitely stay there again when back in Brisbane!

We had an self contained apartment. Impressed thus far with our stay. Apparently & location was everything we were looking for. A+

Very disappointing to say the least. From check in — No greeting upon arrival, very unprofessional staff with obvious disinterest in helping with complaint resolution. When advised of the spa not working I was told yeah we know, having worked in resorts on the Sunshine Coast for many years I was surprised so I suggested putting an “Out of order sign” on it to avoid further disappointment from guests and her response a nod then looked away. No out of order sign today so clearly not a priority. The chlorine level in the pool was so high my children had blurry red eyes for the rest of the day. The room — Dirty microwave, dirty dishes in the cupboard and the dishwasher had a filter with mould growing on it, my partner cleaned it just so we could wash the dishes. I showed a picture of it to the guest service agent upon check out and her response, I’ll tell housekeeping with a dead look on her face. If the shoe were on the other foot, I would apologise to the guest for the bad experience and attempt a smile. Four hours the dirty linen bags were left outside rooms yesterday which we had to walk over to get to the lift. The garbage Shute smelt like dirty pond water, clearly not a priority for the public area cleaners. Mould growth in both bathrooms, the whole apartment needs to be spring cleaned. For a known brand such as Mantra Group I was surprised by the whole experience. Clearly never again.

My home when I visited the City of Bressie. Home away from home. They give you the best that they could offer you. My 2nd time with my family and celebrating my Son’s and I birthday & they give me the best view at 22floor my room. My family love it so much staying 3 night. Thank you

Great way to ruin a birthday. Was our first time staying @ The Mantra on Edward and our experience was tremendously unsatisfying. We received a text message from reception 3 hours after we checked in, informing us that we can extend our check out to 2pm for $50 which I confirmed straight away. I also called reception in the morning to confirm that our check out was @ 2pm, reception confirmed. Then to receive a phone call from reception at 11am telling us we need to be checked out in FIFTEEN minutes. How can anybody expect 6 people to check out in 15 minutes when we were originally checking out at 2pm. Due to Mantra's appalling mistake it ended up ruining all the plans my partner had organised for my birthday. Which we were all remarkably upset about. Not everyday we all get to spend a good quality weekend with friends and family. What a fantastic way to ruin my birthday. Absolutely appalled by the way the reception demanded we leave and the service they provided.

Nice sized room and features. They have a 24/7 supply of YouFoodz (microwaveable meals) which taste great. Only wish the rooms were serviced.

Staff were extremely good. A few things facilities wise that could be improved/repaired but was great regardless.

The whole experience of staying in this hotel was dreadful! Right from the start of being given a 'key' to the wrong room with people already in it. The 2 bedroom apartment was dirty. Dirty dishes left in the dishwasher, a fry pan in the cupboard with burnt food stuck to it. The chopping board had mould on it. The door handle to the main bedroom snapped off. In the other bedroom, when the bedside light was switched on, it sparked, made a huge bang and shorted out all the wall plugs, there was no light bulb in it! The air-conditioning is not even within the area, main bedroom was unbearably hot, other bedroom was icy cold, lounge was so so. There is no restaurant within the hotel. My recommendation is, find somewhere else to stay, anywhere but here! Oh, they charge $35 a night for parking too! Here's something interesting too, the hotel only responds to 5 star reviews but not to anyone who has a bad experience here.

Went there to visit some friend up from interstate. Beautiful views, amazing setup. Security guard was a bit aggressive though.

Spent three nights here just before Christmas. Great self contained apartment. Convenient to the central train station and the shopping district.

Nice place. We paid extra for parking, well worth it. It has a pool and gym. As always mini bar is very expensive. Would recommend.

I'm staying here for 2.5 weeks and notified reception that there is a metal on metal fan noise coming from ducting that isn't aircon, no one came to look at the issue and it keeps me up most nights. The gym is practically unusable. Time to spend a bit of money on a revamp. Far from 4.5 star quality.

Comfortable room except you have to pay for alot of amenities (parking, Wi-Fi that is slower than dial up). Staff is friendly and location is great.

My room had no hot water, Wi-Fi was slower than dial up (if you even were able to connect), and if you want to park here make sure you increase your credit limit.

DO NOT GO TO MANTRA! Service was awful. The staffs in the reception kept tell us that we have to pay more to stay, and the price they gave us was different from what we reserved at first. It was continued until we pay for car parking, so we had to correct all the price all the time. They didn't say sorry for that too. When we check out, they say we need to pay more for something evenif we paid all our fee already. Staffs need to be trained, and they have to be nicer to visitors. I was very disappointed.

The mantra in brisbane was pretty good, however there were some niggling problems that we experienced over our stay. When we arrived in the rooms, we though we were in a single bedroom apartment, rather than the three bedroom apartment that we had booked and paid for. The hotel staff quickly rectified this by opening the relevant doors (they had were locked for some reason) and while this was an acceptable solution, we had arrived quite late at night and one would have expected tgat our room would have been ready by then. The door they opened then wouldnt close because the pin that locked the door had not been unlocked. The bathroom had a couple of issues including stained tiles and a dryer that had an issue with the lint filter not staying. So while the apartment was modern and quite nice to stay in, it is safe to say that we expected better from the mantra.

Apartment is good. They don't tell you there's $35 per night parking or no free Wi-Fi… I sent them a message about free parking and Wi-Fi and got no response. Check in was terrible. We were told AFTER I paid an extra $100 for a room there was no parking or Wi-Fi. They said leave our luggage on the floor and drive a few blocks away to Mantra Terrace and ask them for parking. I paid the money THEN they said go up the block and around the corner. Parking is for little Granny cars not big V8 cars. We lugged all our gear back because I was NOT leaving our expensive laptops and luggage unattended on the floor of a busy front foyer for 20 minutes. I recommend staying somewhere else. I won't be visiting Mantra hotels again.

Rooms were nice and spacious. Staff were friendly and helpful. Couple of small issues. Found a small piece of glass on the ground and there was a bit of stiff on the shower walls.

Fantastic balcony views! Great location about a five minute walk from the central shopping district downtown. The three bedroom apartment was reasonably priced at around $200 a night. The apartment is rather generic but on the nicer side. Having a kitchen and laundry in the room was very convenient. Would stay again.

The rooms were very clean and fresh. Only issues were the lack of power ports and lack of free Wi-Fi.

Apartment hotel catering to families and those seeking 3-4 start accommodation close to CBD. The weekend I stayed the races were on and the hotel was filled with lots of drunk 20 something's. The room was noisy with people in the hotel screaming at people on the street as well as drunks walking up the hill after a big night on the town. Not my first choice but it was ok.

I enjoyed the large apartment style rooms and great location. Close to city center. Enjoyable stay. Clean.

I not staying here again I ask the receptionist if they cleaning the room every day while we staying here and she said no but I said how come in Sydney they clean the room every day and the receptionist said because you pay the room in cheapest rate that's why. I said to her what's the difference if we pay low rate or full rate? Any way we still a customer and we can pass this hotel to our families and friends if we want too.

We had the worst experience unfortunately. It's not often we get to spend time together alone to reconnect with no children around & were really looking forward to some decent sleep. This was ruined by partying and the constant noise of the way the doors slam which echoes throughout the whole level & every room on that level. At 11pm we contacted reception & spoke to Renee about this issue who called us back to advise she addressed the issue, however, that fell on deaf ears as the partying & noise continued. We have stayed in plenty hotels & have never ever had an issue like this before. The bathroom shower was mouldy and our balcony had not been cleaned as it contained cigarette butts everywhere. The aircon also seemed to have stopped working during the night. Very disappointed. I honestly wish I could give a better review and had a better experience.

The room I stayed in on the top floor was amazing! Impeccable standards of cleanliness and first class service, security and facilitates. Beds are comfortable and the views are amazing! I recommend mantra highly.

Beautiful rooms with beautiful views! Reception is manned 24/7 and they are all so friendly and helpful. A bit pricey but as long term visitors, we got a great discount. Only downside is that the mini bar items are hugely pricey!

We had some truble at the start of our stay with the room we were put in but after talking to the staff about the problems we are having the staff were happy to move us as quote "we at the Mantra have a standard to upkeep" witch the did. So once again my wife and I will be returning to this lovly hotel (when we can pam the kinds to the grandparents again)

Beautiful reception. Great location, but difficult to find parking, or their parking lot is poorly marked. Staff were friendly.

Great rooms and service. Good location, no more than 15 walk to most places I had to go. Car parking was confusing for someone not familiar with the landscape.
