Only the location was good with this hotel. The pots and pans in out room were warped and full of burnt food. The clothesline in our bathroom was literally falling off the wall with no clothesline actually attached. The toilet ran all night. It wasn't cleaned properly.

By far the worst hotel that I’ve seen. Toilet seats are filthy and disgusting. Toilet paper stuck under the seat. Kleenex under the bed sheets. When I told the staff, they moved me to another room which was just as bad. I had to leave the room and drive around to find another place. Finally found one. They chose not to refund me, even though I was physically there for half an hour and most of it was explaing to the guy at the counter that I don’t want to be here. I’ve travelled and quite extensively, please pay a few dollars extra and stay somewhere clean. Not sure what you can catch at this place! Horrible.

This isnour second time here and again love it. We were very early to check in (10) and given early access on top of an upgraded room. It's clean and no damage. Only shampoo and soap no conditioner but I've got a feeling it's a 2 in 1 shampoo. Thanks again guys for the amazing service, location and view, and all around enjoyment. Xx archers.

The worst hotel ever I have ever stayed in my entire 35 years life. Terrible breakfast with 4 different kinds of rice. No western option. It is actually a guest house not a hotel, rooms include a kitchen. Funny smells all around. So callled queen bed is just 2 single bed pushed together.

I stayed here as part of a larger study abroad group. The hotel is very accommodating for large groups, and suits our needs: affordable, centrally located to interesting sights, Wi-Fi available, and a group space for lectures. We used a coach on this trip, but the hotel is also located near a train station, which is very easy to navigate to the airport — you can even buy a train ticket from the front desk. Rooms are spacious and have great views. Laundry is available. Though the place is a bit older, that doesn't detract from the amenities.

Was given an upgrade which we were pleased with, however as per other reviewers comments it seems as if the rooms aren't cleaned very well. Inspection into crevices and other areas were very dusty with hairs and debris. The air conditioning remote was also bolted to the wall which made changing the settings difficult as it wasn't facing the IR receiver (protip use a reflective surface like a phone face on a 45 degree angle above the remote if you have troubles). Was good value for the price we paid however we also had the air con fail due to someone on the same system using the heating mode which sets the others off? Had to call specialist to address and then knock on our neighbors doors to find out who had theirs on heating in summer.

Just OK if you sleep here without doing anything. When I arrived at the lobby of this house, I thought this place looked fine. But that was all. There was nothing to say about the room condition. That is why I mentioned the above just Fine if you sleep here.

A little disappointed. For someone on a budget this is for you, but keep the word budget in mind. Traveling solo was comfy but I wouldn't bring my family. With so many options available the rooms could be vastly improved. Friendly service was welcome!

Whoever planning to stay this place. Please cancel your plan. I found a bad bug was crawling my neck when I woke up in the morning. I reported it. Unfortunately bad bug was travelling with me and now bad bug is in my bed room. Contacted them and want to discussed with them for paying pest control but never reply and never call back for 2 weeks. If you want to have a bad bug. You may stay there. If not. Avoid to stay there.

This is not a luxury pick, as advertised on one booking website: be prepared to complain a lot to eventually get a clean, comfortable room. First they gave me room 803. Upon arriving on the 8th floor, there was a heavy food smell coming out of the other rooms on the floor (other occupants were cooking their lunches in their rooms). In the room there was a lot of dirt on the carpet, a piece of furniture was broken, A/C did not work, toilet seat was old and heavily used, the bed sheet looked like it was not fresh from laundry. After I complained, they moved me to room 904. That room was clean, but the phone was damaged, and the toilet seat was also heavily used. After I returned from dinner, I discovered several bugs in the room. After complaining again, they moved me to room 1501 (upgrade). That room was finally clean and comfortable, however, it was a bit noisy as it was located just a floor above a machinery rooms. The bed in the upgraded room was comfortable, and the upgraded room was clean.

Stayed here when the Temperature was mid to high 30's. Found the pool on the roof. There was no shade anywhere to be found. Breakfast, asked for and received poached eggs. Great. Noodles, spring rolls, boiled rice, fried rice etc. This Hotel caters more for the Asian clientele. Air conditioning was not always turned on. Not a very pleasant stay in the heat.

Great hotel. Lovely staff. Very affordable. Very accommodating. The bed was clean and room was very clean and good view. Will definitely be there again.

The worst hotel experience I had. When we arrived in the room, we checked the bed and pillows and we saw hairs in there. Not just one or two, but HAIRSSS. I called the reception and told her about it and sent me a grumpy and not happy housekeeper. I asked her nicely if she can change the bed sheets as well as I notice that she only changed the pillow cases, but she did not respond back to me. Rude. And the pillows are yellowish from stains btw. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel especially to parents with babies like me.

The place was very dirty. Nail polish all spilt on the best sheets, food and grime all over the walls and doors. Pool was not in use, with the outdoor area have no shade sale for us to even sit under. Staff were rude and wouldn't have preferred to be else were which was very much noticeable. No compensation for any of these problems. Would never recommend or never stay again. Only good thing was location.

This hotel is a bit older but it has all the desired amenities. The location is excellent near to the shopping district. Easy to walk where you need to go. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good but they struggled to keep everything stocked. If you want a great location at a good price then this is a very good option. If you want only the newest this isn't for you.

DISGUSTING experience. We were locked out of our own room. The staff from the front desk couldnt speak English probably and refused to help us to open the door even all of our belongings are in the room. The hotel doesnt have emergency solution nor any customer care after hour and the staffs are helpless. Do yourself a favour. Stay away!

Price was fair for what you get, position was handy to brisbane private hospital. Some utensils that still had fat on them and mat on floor had strands of hair that weren't from us not just 1 or 2 strands either. Garbage truck emptied bin at 6 to 6.10 mon to fri and we were on 8th floor.

We like staying here, at least once a month. We always stay on the same floor as the rooms have balconys and kitchenettes. The staff are very helpful and they make us feel like family.

Do not stay at the his place; very dirty, mouldy shower, dirty floors, stained smelly furniture, uneven single beds pushed together to form a double very uncomfortable, management has no care for customer service you will be disappointed. A dis rasé to the Best Western hotel chain.

Super comfortable room with balcony. Special requests before arrival were taken into account without decency.

Good location and close to CBD and Suncorp Stadium. Spacious rooms.

Friendly staff, pleasantly surprised with the decoration and atmosphere, close to everything. Great value for money! will stay there again.

Good value for money, we got what we paid for. The Room we got had a kitchenette which was extremely useful for cooking our own meals and not spending money on takeaway.

Rooms are crappy, location is ok. A pretty creepy hotel really. The staff are nice but yeah, I have had more welcoming rooms in dodgy country hotels.

Rooms are clean and their is a nice view from the balcony. It was hard to find their car park and it's one of those Japanese parks that stack your cars. (A first for me). Central location makes accessing Brisbane hot spots a breeze. Our room had a washing machine and stove. No dryer.

Where do I start. I travel extensively around Australia and generally use Best Western for the points, but this place is the worst. The room does not get cleaned. The check in took over 45 minutes. The shower floods the bathroom. No sheets on the bed. When you complain in seems like they aren't listening and then you come to your room and guess what they weren't as the room is not cleaned again. The car parking system is again a very very long process. Great location, but that is all it has.

I have stayed at this particular Best Western on may occasions the past few years and have always had a good price value for money room. Always clean, great staff.

The room was spacious with a kitchenette and a balcony. Balcony had a good view too. Hotel is in a great location that's less than 5 minutes from Central Station. The walls were paper thin and you would hear everything. The sheets and towels weren't the best. Staff were helpful enough. Four stars because you get what you pay for and we paid a reasonable price for what we got.

Long black hairs all over the bedroom floor, bedsheets and towels. If your cleaning staff are losing hair, then have them tie their hair back. Not nice to be drying yourself off after a shower to have to pick someone else's hair off your body. When politely mentioned to reception, the response was "we'll look into it" with a patronising smile. No apology whatsoever. Breakfast was dry hash browns & baked beans served with what appeared to be last nights Chinese takeaway. Was this a joke? I've never eaten half French and half Greek before or half Indonesian and half Italian. Very odd and rather inconsistent. Fresh coffee, which costs extra of course, came in a takeaway cup when I was obviously eating in. An utter shambles. Does not add up to the other Best Westerns around Australia which have far better standards.

Affordable accommodation close to Brisbane city. Rooms clean and tidy. Bed comfortable. Great location short walk from central station and on route for bus services heading to medical services in Spring Hill. On-site restaurant and cafes near by. Service was great. And got a free upgrade on room. Wasn't as noisy as expected but some construction work early in the morning. Will definitely stay again.
