I went to inspect a room on behalf of some overseas friends that might visit. The staff were helpful and friendly, but the decor too modern considering the heritage exterior of the building. I was expecting olde worlde ambeiance, Chesterfield furniture, a combination of original gold gilded framed art both turn of the century and indigenous on the walls, and perhaps traditional English country garden print fabrics. The same goes for the soft furnishings of that era. Somewhat disappointed. I was a five star silver service waitress when I was young and have some experience on hotel decor. From the outside it looks like a heritage building back in time adventure. From the inside a modern suburban display home. It should be better than what you have at home, otherwise you might as well stay at home.
Great apartment accommodation. Rooms are very small but they're clean and very comfortable. Breakfast is included and is spectacular. I wanted for nothing.

It was ok. Clean, comfortable, compact. Sadly no parking. Brekkie was tasty. Staff friendly.
