The motel room was way overpriced and old with paint peeling off the walls. I expected more from a Discovery Park.

Tina at discovery parks Blackwater has gone above and beyond for me tonight … absolute legend and don’t know what I would of done with out her! Thank you so much Tina and discovery parks.

Very nice staff but very very expensive for not much comfort, good clean toilet blocks and a dining hall but designed more for dongers than caravans. Would only recommend short 1-2 day stays.

More of a workers camp really, full of permanent workers cabins. Caravan area is small, only about 6 sites, no grass or shade. Amenities were clean. Can hear coal trains all night.

Clean friendly and stuff bend over backwards for you and good food.

Caretaker could not have been more friendly. Problem is that it is more of a mining camp than a caravan park with lots of workers coming and going. Also heavy traffic from trucks and trains can be heard during the night.

Great rooms. I have been in two of the motel rooms out the front and they have been spacious and clean. There is a fair bit of noise off the highway and train tracks but it hasn't stopped me sleeping quite well in the queen sized bed. There are no blackout curtains for night shift, but the aircon stayed cold all day so it wasn't a huge problem. Food is hit and miss, excellent some days and average others.

Great little place to stop for the night. Super clean and organised.

The caretakers Greg and Robin were absolutely wonderful and made my stay, including meals, a truely outstanding experience. Thanks again.

Basic accommodation but great community kitchen with very friendly staff.
