The perfect place to stay for a concert at Qudos Arena. Easy access from the train station, good breakfast, simple but very clean rooms.

Staff are wonderful venue beautiful clean.

Great rooms, beaut view, good food and drinks at brasserie and bar, great service.

Staff are lovely and we got a up grade.

The staff is super friendly and helpful. They go the extra mile to make you feel welcomed. The food is great, rooms are very comfortable. Definitely recommended.

I came here to see Scorpions and Whitesnake but show got cancelled. I found all the staff to be oustanding and helpful and friendly. I got sick and asked chef to make me special meal dosed in loads of garlic ginger and some chilli and he did no problem and it is smorgasbord night. All waitresses and bar staff are fantastic. The concierge was ten out of ten. You cant fault this place. Nice safe busy active safe plsce to explore and lots of food places around❤

Awesome place to stay & location is perfect when attending events at ANZ stadium. We found all staff to be helpful, cheerful & very accommodating for specific needs. Highly recommended and would definitely return when we next return to Sydney!

The TV didnt work. There was no bathroom as such. Not enough parking. Found a car park paid $25 went out came back no parking had to pay another $25. $50 all up just to park for one night. Not worth $290 that I paid for the room at all. Very disappointed with my stay considering that I travelled from Mackay and spent one night. Won't be staying here again and will NOT recommend this hotel to anyone now or in the future.

I can't complain that the rooms were small, as I expected this, but I didn't expect dirty sheets on the bed. My sister in law pulled back the bed sheets, and there was a huge yellow urine stain on it. Needless to say, this ended up on the floor. We only stayed here due to the proximity to the Qudos Arena, but next time, I will definitely stay someplace else. For $179.00 per night, I would expect clean sheets as a minimum. Even to make a coffee, there were only plastic cups, and plastic sticks instead of spoons. We also had to queue for about 15 minutes to use the elevator as there were not any stairs. Will not stay here again.

Cockroach infested! Despite the budget price there was no mention the reservation was to include cockroaches! Upon killing 5 roaches, a further infestation was located behind the mini fridge. The carpets are also filthy, shower screen broken and doesn’t close properly. Management was notified and moved me to the adjacent room. Here I killed another 2 roaches, and the carpet the same. There is obviously a bad infestation problem and I’m surprised this place is still operating. Management were again notified of the problem and also via direct review. No response. This place doesn’t even deserve a star.

Budget room was small but decently clean, with a comfy bed. Friendly service at front. Water pressure for shower wasn’t that great as the hot water dropped off constantly. A parking fee is added to room price. For any major events at Homebush venues, this is within walking distance and good value for money.

Shower screen didn't open properly. Only one pillow per bed and very flat. Had to sleep with towel under pillow and clothes to prop up. Shower pressure not great. Good cheap sleep but that is all.

Great place to stay for sporting events. Great value for money. Rooms basic but clean. Quick and easy check in/ out.

For the price, it’s clean, comfortable and convenient to any venue at Olympic Park. Parking is $20 per night, which is cheaper than parking your car at any other pay stations, and when there’s something on like a concert or football or cricket, parking in sidestreets is restricted-so the extra is worth it. There are eateries about 10 minute walk away too. The hotel is a budget hotel. If you want fancy, there are others. Our room 402 needed some maintenance such as repair to the air conditioning vent and shower screen. But the bed was comfy, room small but adequate for 2. I’d stay there again if I had to overnight. It’s basic, but good. Guy at the desk friendly and helpful, as good as anyone I’ve seen at the posh places!

Booked 1st room went in and the state of the room was disgusting aircon never cleaned and air vent the same and the shower had mould in it and the general dust was extensive throughout. 2nd room no different then the 3rd room they gave me was for disabled visitors carpet needs major attention and the lay down seat where the guest would shower had so much mould in lots of different colors was amazed this is what they class as clean. Very appalled in the state of the rooms. Need new cleaning services, obviously current workers don't do anything…

Would give zero if was an option so many reason not to stay at this place for how expensive it was. Unclean rooms had been vacuumed but had dust in all of the corners and underneath bunk bed matress frame, foot prints on the ceiling above the bunk bed. Room had a awful smell coming from the shower drain very unpleasant leaking shower into the toilet expanding the walls and flooring tap for shower and shower head unsecured hence whys it’s leaking into the wall. With the aircon running if you can even call it that, it was leaking water from the unit onto the bed. As for the bed frames have clearly been in service for a while as they are shaped towards the floor and had a better night sleep on floor. Would not recommend anyone to stay here.

Other than carpet in room the room was spotlessly clean. Close to public transport. Car parking available. Friendly staff. Breakfast available.

Most disgusting place I have ever stayed. Couldn't even bring ourselves to stay the night. Rebooked down the road. Floor filthy. Bathroom dirty. Carpet mouldy where shower water leaked out the door. That's just in short. They put the prices way up because there was a concert on. Be warned. Don't stay there.

Good location, a short walk from trains, food and stadiums. Staff are nice, room was clean, if very basic. Shower was nice.

Good location if you're going to Spotless/Antz Stadium. The size if the rooms are okay. Two stars down because lack of cleaning. Lot of dust. Lipstick on walls. Mold in the shower.

Neither negative or complementing things to say, it was a hassle free stay at the usual standard of Ibis Budget. Great value for money if you're not concerned with staying at the ritziest.

Very basic pictures online are different than the actual room we stayed in. It was clean and bed comfortable the parking is an issue when there is a big event on in the area. Room was quite until people started running up and down the Hall way banging on doors.

4th floor. Service was promot. Breakfast as great, with lots of choice. Will recommend.

Cheap but beds were not the greatest as you get what you pay for. Convenient location.

Poor customer service and attitude at breakfast. Sure it was busy… but it was chaos. No cutlery. … get your food and then have to wait for the cutlery clown to bring it… meanwhile food gets cold.

Average hotel, the front desk staff are friendly and helpful but the room wasn't very good, stayed for 2 nights, the toilet was leaking and I reported this on the first night but it wasn't repaired while I was there, the light in the main area was flickering slightly so I couldn't use it as it gave me a headache, I had to ask for a doona, initially they only gave me a very thin blanket for the middle of winter. The in house restaurant does a decent buffet breakfast, I was going to have dinner here but the menu was limited and very expensive for what was there so went elsewhere.

Really helpful and friendly staff — keep up the good work guys! Nice breakfast, good lobby and bar. Rooms are definitely 3 star, although all mod cons.

Stayed here for several days for a football game at ANZ stadium. Was willing to pay the price seeing it was so close. Rooms are not very large. Our room only had one chair so you would have to sit on the bed if you wanted to eat something. Asked a staff member for another chair and was told we could not spare one. Never ate at the restaurant downstairs so can't comment on that. My biggest gripe however was the fact that I drove up from Melbourne and had to pay $25 extra a night for parking. I have never in my entire life paid for parking at any Hotel. So I blew $75 just for parking (3 nights). So if you drive here be aware of parking fees. If I stay again I won't be driving my car there. Otherwise its reasonable.

My wife and I stayed at the Ibis (Fomely the FORMULE1) at Sydney Olympic Park on new years eve 31st December 2012. We paid $280.00 AUS Dollars for the pleasure of that garbage hotel. There were shops next to it none of them were open, no room service, our dinner consisted of a a couple packs of chips from from a vending machine in the foyer, The room was smaller than my bathroom at home no room to move at all. I have never stayed anywhere as bad as this I would not pay $20.00 to stay their I would recommend anyone stay away from this this dump no matter how desperate you are you are better off sleeping on the grass opposite this place. Dreadful Hotel, please avoid if at all possible. The room was dirty and the food provided from the "Restaurant" for room service was very sub par. Not sure how it worked with being connected to the Novotel but certainly from my experience of the Ibis I won't be staying at either given the apparent connection (same building, staff etc).

What a fantastic place. I wish I was there for the olympics. The whole site is bigger than I imagined. The kids loved it.

I was unpleasantly surprised to find the hotel totally full yesterday. But what was more unpleasant was the staff manner. The man just said one word to me — — — there is nothing available tonight — — — not a hello, welcome, good bye — — nothing. This was the worst treatment I got in any hotel. Terrible to say the least.
