Quickly stopped in for lunch after finding our they have a new restaurant.
My pregnancy cravings took over and the child took the wheel and wanted Pho.
Long time fan of it and oh my god, the broth was AMAZING and for $10. I’ll definitely be back!

The locals are great, Friday night is great for raffles, Sunday is great when they have the music. We need the bands more often not just once a month.

Great night stay for an aspiring stoic! Book a night at Brown Jug Inn if you feel you're turning into a spoiled brat. Conveniently located in an armpit of Sydney — Fairfield, and situated between BWS, Assyrian sports club and TAB, this is kind of place that inexperienced Sydney travellers book by mistake without realizing its reformative power. "Value for money" says the popular review on this hotel. It really makes you wonder what is the value of money and how much $95 can get you in this city: carpets and bathroom from murder scene, car parking projector lights pointed straight into the window and just an atmosphere that makes you shudder thinking of what has been happening in the room before you. Bed was crispy clean and comfortable, which made it more enjoyable to lie awake at night listening to drug and alcohol fueled arguments through paper thin walls. I recommend pairing this stay with a public transport trip. The first bus 817 departs at 5.20 am, so aim to get up at 5.15 — it's amazing how getting ready time shrinks when you're just happy to be alive. Bus driver bickering with a young female passenger and kicking her out for not having small enough change was a proof of something I've always guessed but was never able to fully experience in Perth, WA : life is tough!

Renovations looks awesome friendly staff n security been coming here almost 10years lost more than I won lol Keep up the great work bistro food was pretty good n the sports bar is zero to none thanks guys.

Stayed here for the last two nights in Sydney as I was only able to stay for two nights in Greenacre. Staff are friendly but the hotel was a bit of a letdown. Upstairs it smelt funny along the hallway and the carpet was dirty. Stayed in room no. 2 but wasnt 100% satisfied. Carpets was stained and it smelt weird and I felt it was outdated. Bed was comfy though. Overall I would recommend upstairs to be refurbished and new carpets. Wouldn't recommend unless you're not too picky.

The bar is an excellent example of a good old Aussie pub with great people and excellent drinks prices a great place to go for after dinner drinks.

Very friendly and helpful — rooms a little pricey for what they were like smelled a little funny and very old inside but I needed a bed and they had one available it was nice and quite and I slept like a charm — would stay again if in the area.

Great Reno the pub has a new look, thanks to the best staff in hospitality how look after the patrons with the feel of family and a awesome social club that put on spot on events for the members whitch brings the locals together, I would like to say thanks to the publican Gary for the support he gives to the club and to all the patrons how make the club.

Praiseworthy food in the bistro which is much better than the surprisingly cheap prices would suggest. Quite frankly, the food is amazing, especially for the price! The only down side is the atmosphere isn't really restaurant fancy but for a family meal it works a treat!

Absolute dirty, smelly no lights in shower room. Stinks stinks stinks. Try room 11. Carpet is stained and stinks of smoke. Horrible horrible.
