Rooms are a good size and very clean and tidy. I had the barramundi, chips and salad which was cooked beautifully served by friendly staff.

Quite possibly the cleanest Motel room that I've ever stayed in. well done All 👍

Nice clean room, a bit surprised to find no tea or coffee making facilities in the room or glasses for water. Asked at reception and got them so all good. Other motels I have stayed in didn't have that covid thing happening.

Old and tired. Travelling with husband for business. Toiletries from last guest still in shower. No reading lights. Husband dined in restaurant, food poor. I dined in room, inedible meal, sent back and got gnocchi as replacement… awful. Staff were very nice about it but they seriously need to look at the cook. Beds comfortable… only positive thing.

The staff went above and beyond to help me get something healthy to eat when I arrived late on Easter Friday and everything else was closed… Thanks so much… And thanks for not raising the price over Easter… This place is awesome!

I felt when I went to breakfast It wasn’t explained to me how it worked. They were not busy. We did not realize the toaster was on another table until I had finished my breakfast.
Also I couldn’t get an itemized account on charges for meal that we had in restaurant. They tried to charge me double.

Very good service niece and easy… even had the heater on in the room before I came in.

Room overpriced for what we got. Didn’t even get a spoon for our coffee. Ate at the restaurant, Garlic bread took forever to come and when it did was undercooked and cold. Main meals were shocking. Pork Belly had a weird smell and The Stuffed Chicken Breast was the size of a quail, had a bone still attached to it and the stuffing was tasteless and not much of it. Even the vegetables were tasteless and half cold. When we told them, only offer was “A” free dessert. Paid full price then went and ate a meal elsewhere.

To say that I am disappointed and furious is an understatement. Booked 6 rooms under three different names on Tuesday, however reception couldn't even get that right and every time someone checked in they needed to see me again. Rooms are small, old and pokey. Reception does not seem to know what's going on. And of course no managers on duty, can speak to someone on Monday. For the ridiculously overpriced rooms, old run down facilities and inept staff go somewhere else. To belong to the Accor group which has a good name they've just lost a customer. Not even 1 star.

They eventually said they'd send someone the next day to bring more furniture. That person never came. I doubt I'd ever stay there again.

Quiet, comfortable and centrally located. Helpful staff and would definitely stay again if coming to Tamworth.

Bathroom stank and was mouldy. Outdated room, sub-par food. All for a higher price than other motels in tamworth (yes, it is a motel). Will not be back and will advise others to avoid.

Rooms were okay. Only visited a guest do I didn't get to use the services or food. Looks like a great place to stay.

You go to ibis if all you want is a clean bed and a hot shower. And that’s exactly what this place gives you. Pillow is a bit on the dense side. Rooms are definitely dated. But has a mini fridge, small lcd tv, iron and ironing board. Shampoo/soap dispensers on the walls. Quite a nice neutral scent.

Renovated rooms are great, but lacking a little bit in amenities ie no microwave, no freezer in fridge, cups in rooms but no spoons etc. Overall a good pick for a good price. Restaurant a bit pricey so recommend hitting the town for dinner.

The owners are lovely, the rooms a little dated. Nice little balcony off main bedroom. It has a pretty decent location and Wifi was ok at 4.3 mbps download and 2.1 mbps upload!

Very disappointing and inefficient service. Phoned to book a queen/single room for myself and my brother because we were making funeral arrangements for our Mother. As I was flying from Perth and my flight to Tamworth was delayed by two hours, my brother checked in and paid for two nights. Asked the receptionist before dinner if I should fix up the bill for the other two nights. She said I could pay now or at the end. The second day we were in the middle of packing up my mother's possessions when receptionist demanded that I go back to the Motel this minute to pay the bill. Didn't have a car so had to walk back to the motel (paid in cash) before I could continue with the rest of the arrangements. There was not empathy shown here and no individual circumstances taken into consideration. Check in was very slow and took over 45 minutes. I will never stay at this motel again.

As I am acloyal ibis group customer I loved this hotel and their others. The Tamworth ibis styles hotel Was a lovely affordable hotel with Beautiful rooms. We stayed in a older room not the new rooms and they great still. The staff are front desk staff are friendly. The house keeping after amazing at their job too. The breakfast is mouth watering though they do need pancakes on the menu too. The Dinner menu is small and not that nice due to limited options and my partner odereda chicken dish and it was processed crap the only reason they didn't get five stars.

Comfortable beds in a relatively central location in town. The amenities are dates and fridges won't work and staff were unwilling to assist. Room was also lacking a microwave and toaster. Televisions are not able to tune correctly. If you just need a bunk for the night this place will serve you well. If you're looking for a comfortable stay for a week certainly look elsewhere.

Room was clean and spacious. Service was friendly except the chef who didn't appear to want to cook specific items from the menu. Additionally the $32 steak came with fried potatoes and BBQ sauce. The hotel's location is pretty central to Tamworth and is easy to get on and off the major roads in and out.

Stayed for two nights as part of a training event, and it was perfect. Yes the rooms were basic, but they were clean, well kept, which is all I needed. The function room itself was fantastic, and the staff (Ashley, Kelly, and Nigel) all did a wonderful job. A surprise highlight were the lamb shanks and the pork ribs I had for dinner. Both very tender, meat falling off the bone and very tasty! I'd come back just got the food :) Update: stayed again for work (march 2017) the renovated rooms are great! Nice modern furniture. A step above some of the other Ibis Styles I've been to.

Absolutely the best and most welcoming place we have stayed at. Lovely friendly staff, always happy and helpful. The food in the resturant was great and room service was prompt. I recommend anyone to stay here if in Tamworth. We can't wait to go back.

Hotel staff are friendly and the rooms are nice inside. Food has been nice as well, have however the fold out bed is terrible, the mattress is material and springs.

We had a late arrival. Ie 2am, no problems. Service staff left our rooms till last so we could rest. Everything there was good.

Both accommodation, food and drinks well overpriced. I was told I was getting a renovated room and it was dated and not so clean! Dirty towels, didn't even use them. Staff didn't seem too concerned. Give one of the privately owned 3 star motels a go I say.

Rooms feel like a glorified backpackers, everything is tight — hardly any bench space in bathroom. Worst was hairs and old blood stain on sheets. Restaurant food was disgusting. Burnt, overcooked. Not much variety on menu. Food was pre — prepared frozen from supermarket and offered at restaurant prices. Best was the free Wi-Fi which worked. I wouldn't go back here again.

Rooms are VERY BASIC. The place is built on a swamp and stinks. The car park is very diificult to access and park in. Took forever to check-in and check-out. We arrived on a business trip with 6 people. Booked 2 rooms side by side or so I thought. They decided to change our booking to a single room that would accommodate the same number of people but had to share beds and 1 bathroom. Unacceptable!

Great conference room for seminar. Great staff. Fresh rooms. Bed was uncomfortable. Better bed in the cabin at the holiday park.

Hundreds of rooms, bit of a warren and the smell from the sale yards if the wind is from the south is pungent. Very basic and a credit card imprint is asked for even if paying by cash. OK if desperate.

Its ok. Nothing more. Old hotel, but clean and comfortable for a night. Get a superior room. They're worth the extra money. Staff are friendly and good breakfast buffet. Evening room service menu is ok too.
