At the Atura the check in was easy and great parking with a nice big room and the bar and restaurant are very good 👍🏻 Please read comment below as they do not put everything on this part and do not care about resolving issues. Would never stay here again!

After arriving late Friday night in horrendous weather and power outages, we were not able to check in until the power came back on. We waited a couple of hours and it was still not on so we eventually went back to the hotel and they allowed us to go to our rooms via the stairs (lucky it was only 4 floors and not on the top floor on level 8! ). The staff were very apologetic and couldn’t have helped us more, the power eventually came back on around 1am. Nice clean rooms, good air con and reasonably sized. Great value hot breakfast buffet $15 per person. We would definitely stay here again.

We’ve stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions and it’s always been a great experience…great location also right at the start of the city centre…park the car and walk everywhere.

Great location stayed at quiet time (lockdown) everything closed … carve it up for dinner.

The dirtiest hotel ever. Mouldy curtains wall and window. Coffeee machine coffee was full of mud. Checked out and stayed elsewhere.

We recently had our wedding at Atura and I couldn’t fault it! Erin and Thomas were so helpful even with covid having to change things last minute! The food was super yummy and the drinks were flowing, we had the best night thank you for making everything run so smoothly and making sure our guests had everything they needed! You guys were awesome! Thanks so much!

The cleanliness of the rooms, the double charging, the greedy man at reception, room service not turning up and the cobwebs on the windows.

What a great lunch Christmas Day we had 4 generations plenty of food great service best of all no cleaning up and our grandkids just loved Santa and mrs claus and their presents.

Went to the restaurant tonight 20/12/2019. Worst service I have experienced. The three girls did not want to be there and only 7 of us in restaurant. Food was great. But will not recommend this place to anyone. Have lived in Albury 60 years and very disappointed.

Booked a couple weeks in advance for a family of 4 was not told about the sofa bed for the children. It was an absolute joke of a sofa bed like the ones you buy at Amart for $199. A cheap swag mattress is 100 times better than what they expected my children to sleep on. The staff are all angry about being at work, don’t ask for a coffee while they are chatting between themselves as you are wasting their time. The pool was dirty, which was unfortunate, as we had just driven 8 hours to get there from The Central Coast, and the girls wanted to go for a swim. Never again will I stay here.

Overall it was decent although we found that some things need attention. We stayed on the 5th floor and the elevator button doesn’t light up. It’s hard to tell if the elevator is coming or not. Also the 6th floor button was always lit up once we got in and it would go up before it went down. The heater makes noises all night even though it was turned off and the thumping of the people upstairs would make the vents vibrate. Otherwise check in/out was a breeze and the rooms were nice and modern.

Not all breakfast room chairs have rubber feet, those that don’t make an incredible noise when moved. All bedroom doors need a softening close rather than the closing “thud” that echoes throughout the floor to waken guests that would rather continue sleeping than be disturbed by the early rise guests. An adequate stopover in an elderly hotel.

Hi, we have stayed before and really like staying at Atura Albury. The price is great and the complimentary mini bar is a nice touch. We also enjoyed your happy hours. The hotel has a good vibe and all the staff we encountered were really good. The location of the hotel is also great. We really enjoy going to Albury, it has a really good feel and laid back attitude. We will be back!

I booked a room for 2 nights and requested an early check in due to the circumstances of my stay. They couldn’t confirm or help me in any way saying they wouldn’t know until the day if I could be checked in earlier or not. No help or consideration given at all so I cancelled the appointment (they also said I had to cancell it myself on line, they couldn’t help me? ) so I booked elsewhere, who by the way, were happy to help me any way they could. Shame really, as my new position will take me to Albury twice a month now and I need a place to stay each visit. Lost my business for sure.

Location is great as it’s on Dean street, which is the Main Street in Albury. Close to the shopping precinct, cafes and restaurants. The hotel itself is modern and looks good as you walk into the foyer/reception. The rooms are average looking. Not a fan of the half black and cream walls with the huge yellow spot. It’s not very warm or inviting. The bed is way too soft for my liking. You literally sink in it. The room is missing curtains, cause once you open the blinds you are blinded by the sun, which makes it hard to watch tv.

What hotel, which is rated at 4 stars has no room service. After a considerable long day I don’t want to sit a bar and drink. The room heating, well it just didn’t work! No milk for a coffee, list goes on.
So simply, Atura once you get past the modern looking facade out the front, it becomes a very poor country accomodation block. Currently wouldn’t recommend after 8 years travelling to this location, it’s lost it mojo.

Atura Albury's recent renovations has breathed new life into this property. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are fresh, clean and spacious, the beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms well fitted out. The meals area on the ground floor is bright and airy, with a great selection for breakfast. The new decor is fun and a welcome change to the usual hotel lobby styling. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Amazing hospitality from the staff. We were taken care of by Roxie and she made our stay such a pleasant experience. Roxie you rock! Ideal location, free bikes provided, no dental kit available so pack your own or pick one from Coles just down the street.

Excellent location in the heart of Albury city centre. Booking direct via the hotel website was very friendly and confirmed speedily. Services throughout the hotel were excellent and ever ready to assist. Equally important, the room was in immaculate condition and everything looked very fresh! It was a delight that we made the right choice in selecting Atura Albury. Will be back the next time we pass though Albury again. Many thanks to all the staff.

I think that rooms that have not been slept in a couple of nights should have a bit of a spray of a nice scent in them daily. The first room we were given had a real shut up smell — or invest in some room fresheners that permanently live in a power point. First impressions count. Third time staying there, it is my go to hotel in Albury. Centrally located — comfy — great staff and the beds are really compfy! It will still be my go to place to stay :) Amanda.

I stayed here many years ago and I love what they have done with the place now. It is bright and welcoming and nice and open. The rooms are well decorated and very spacious. I love this location as it is within easy walking distance to everything but is at the nice quiet end of Dean Street.

What a great hotel! Very clean and had everything we were after for a family of 4! Free mini bar was such a nice touch and with the $30 bonus meal credit breakfast only cost us $10 for all of us! The room doors need to be a bit more sound proof but it wasn’t too bad.

The building is so funky and I love the atmosphere, the staff are wicked helpful and lovely and it was just all around a great stay. The late checkout is nice too.

Great little room. Close to shops. Check in was quick & staff very friendly especially the lady who checked us in. Breakfast was good.

The upsides: front office staff members were the friendliest and most helpful I have ever encountered. The room was clean and the décor fresh. The breakfast at the restaurant was lovely. The downsides: the bed was the most uncomfortable I have ever slept in in my life. Soft single mattresses with a bar between them in the middle is just not ok as a "king bed". Mini bar could have been stocked with more items (spirits? ). If they could sort the minor stuff out, it would have got 4 or 5 stars.

Came back to my room after 6 hrs away to find the room door jammed open with a towel. It seems that the room was made up and left wide open. I rang reception — no manager on duty and no one to come up to view the room. Staff eventually apologetic but that's it.
I agree with the comments on the noisy air conditioning. Hotel has been tarted up but showing its age. Service pretends to be informal when it is just inadequate or uninterested. Disappointing even at its price point.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Atura. The receptionist was most helpful with all our requests. Dinner was great. A fine selection of wines and a good sized menu. The bed was comfy. The bathroom clean. The room very large. The Atura is so well situated. King Valley, Rutherglen, Glenrowan. Great place to stay. We will be back.

Beautiful simple but with design hotel. Super good value for money, have a very nice complementary buffet breakfast and providing a free mini bar was a nice detail that add a lot of value for a little bit of cost. The atmosphere is enchanting and staff service demonstrate how professional and happy with the management they are. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Terribly uncomfortable bed, together with a very noisy aircon (even when turned off? ) and awful noise insulation (random banging thought the night) made this a terrible nights stay. I was hoping to break up the journey from Sydney to Melbourne — I wouldn’t bother and would keep on driving straight thought. Room had the feeling of a cheap roadside motel and with a flimsy door handle which didn’t feel secure. I also paid $20 for a poached chicken salad with bone dry chicken, smothered in half a jar of mayonnaise which was inedible. I regularly stay at the Art Series hotels (part of the same group) which have always been pretty good, and was very surprised at this poor offering.

We were on a road trip from Sydney to Melbourne and we decided to stay at Atura Albury for one night. We were expecting an average hotel for a night’s stay but it turned out the hotel was quite impressive in terms of customer services and the quality of the room. First, the lady at the hotel reception was very helpful in calling the restaurant to wait for or order even though we only arrived 15 mins before the restaurant was closed. Second, housekeeping already set open the sofa bed when we arrived. This showed that they did checked and prepared the room for my family of four. Very well done!

If it's comfort you're after then Atura Albury is the place you want to be at. Conveniently located on Dean Street this hotel is close to restaurants and a shopping mall and a number of other shopping outlets. Walking distance to pretty much everything including Target, Coles and a few bars. The hotel itself is top notch with extremely friendly and accommodating customer service. Ample car parking, a smoking area, bar and grill and a pool. The breakfast buffet is excellent.

Love this hotel! Super comfy bed, spotless bathroom and right in town close to shopping. Dinner at the hotel was very delicious. Breakfast buffet slightly underwhelming for variety but decent. We love the QT Hotels and Atura reminds us of that fun vibe. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will come back!

Excellent hotel and service. Great breakfast and ambience. Only issue was parking. Hate to park in the open in this hot summer. A simple cover for the car park would do the job.

Like this hotel with good service and location. The staff and reception were very friendly. Most of the nice restaurants reviews from Trip Advisor are within walking distance. Walking distance to Albury Botanic Garden too where the Children’s Garden worth to bring the kids there.

This was our second stay at Atura and it was great value. Comfortable room, bed and great staff. Breakfast was sensational.

The rooms werent as nice as the images, especially the tiny bathrooms. Pillows were lumpy or hard, neither my wife nor I slept well. It was serviceable, just a little disappointed. Customer service was great, with every person we encountered friendly and helpful.

Two young ladies were so welcoming and helpful when we arrived. They went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. It was especially appreciated as my husband was partially disabled.

Good stay. Friendly staff. Nice restaurant & bar. Rooms are well appointed. The only 2 concerns were the mattress was quite uncomfortable and the lifts often seemed to have a mind of their own, stopping at odd levels for no reason.

Stayed over on the Melbourne Cup weekend. Checkin was fast and friendly and the room was set up as requested. Whilst the hotel appeared fully booked. We did not hear noise from adjacent rooms or the bar area below us. Good bar, restaurant and pool made for a pleasant stay. Bathroom could benefit from towel racks.

Great reception on entry and checkout. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Room was spacious enough and best bed we have slept in which is why we come back to the Atura.

My favourite place to stay in this part of the world. But… I book online at a fixed price, then at checkout am advised that a credit card surcharge applies. Cheap and tacky ploy, in my view. Not what I expect from a quality provider. How many people carry wads of cash these days for accommodation and meals? And are you really suggesting there's no relative cost in counting said cash, storing it safely onsite then delivering it to a bank for deposit? No more cheap and tacky. One honest and inclusive rate upfront, please. Otherwise I'll happily find somewhere else to stay.

The staff were lovely, and helped me as much as I needed. The only issue I had was the aircon was super noisy and there was no manual or remote so I had to keep getting up in the night. My bed was so comfy and the room was decked out really nicely. All the mod cons. Good view, too.

I love staying at the Atura in Albury. The Wi-Fi is great, the food is amazing and the beds are as comfortable as they can get. It's my home away from home whilst I'm away. Topped off by the amazing service you really can't go wrong.

What a great place to eat and stay! Great kids menu in the restaurant and speedy friendly service. Cocktails at the bar we're tasty too. I tried the crispy fried chicken buns… Omg yum! The rooms are nicely renovated, with funky furnishings. The only small criticism I have is the bed was not the most comfortable I've ever slept in. Despite this still 5 stars because of the friendly staff.

The staff were fantastic and helpful. Breakfast (which was included in our awesome deal, $135/n) was awesome — 5 stars. We were given a heater as room one malfunctioned and motel fully booked (We were given a discount). The bed however was terrible. King, joined, normally ok but the mattresses were knacked. We were not able to "snuggle" because of the hard, raised lump in the middle. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

The whole place is clean and tidy, the staff were friendly and helpful. My room was neat & tidy. The bed was appalling. It was 2 beds joined together, which is not an issue, but the mattresses had died a long time ago and both had big dips in them. So you had a choice, sleep on the zipper, which is normally OK but because of the massive dips was very uncomfortable, or sleep in a huge valley which bent you of shape. Not a great nights sleep. There was also no milk. Breakfast was good. It wasn't a disastrous stay but for what I paid it was very poor value for money.

Good rooms, great food. Friendly staff. In my opinion it is the best in Albury. 4 star because I needed to ask for shampoo every day and room service would not put new ones: (

Enjoyed my first time at Atura Albury — great place central to the city. Comfortable rooms and the lounge downstairs was fantastic for meeting and doing some business. Only criticism is the hours the bar was open — even to be able to grab a sandwich or snack with a coffee earlier would have been good. Loved the funky decor Check in process and texts and emails were very good. Helps. Thanking you.

I will start by saying that the staff are lovely but our stay was not fantastic. Firstly, the bed was horrendous! I expected a queen or king bed, even a double bed would have been acceptable but not the two single mattresses with Velcro on the edges which are then kept together by another piece of fabric with velcro. It was like having a lump of wood right down the middle of the bed and then the middle of each single mattress is saggy. Secondly, we had dinner at the restaurant and l ordered an eye fillet steak done to medium. The steak l got was about a female palm size but only a centimetre thick, I've never had an eye fillet steak that thin then to top it off it was well done, not what l asked for and certainly not worth $38. Totally disappointed. I give two stars only because the staff were lovely. Won't be staying again.

A very tasteful and stylish hotel, even if they must have soaked up every single bit of plywood stock across Australia! Perhaps a *little* overboard on that front… But, overall, a very cool place and very professional, friendly staff. Great food too, both on the menu and in the continental breakfast options. I'd happily recommend Atura to friends and colleagues.

A great hotel, friendly and helpful staff, excellent and very spacious room. Great to have a guest laundry at no cost and free Wi-Fi. Delicious options for dinner at the restaurant downstairs with equally delicious buffet breakfast. Pleasant down with good selection of shops and areas to explore, including the well manicured botanical gardens close by. We were only there for one night as my son was visiting a friend, but would of been happy to stay there for more such was the hotel very acceptable. Would highly recommend to anybody wanting a hotel in the area to consider this their first option. If in the area again, would definitely choose to stay at the Atura.

You need to fix the lift it was frustrating at times. Also make the stairwells user friendly for those who want the exercise. I like the going green idea of not having your room serviced but it wasn't obvious that the $10 would be taken off the incidentals not the room charge.

I attended Atura in Albury for a networking seminar and budget review. The whole function went remarkably smoothly, venue was sparkling clean and all food/ drinks were both out on time and delicious. This was my first time visiting and I was extremely happy, will definitely hold events here and stay when I can. I will also be recommending to all my work colleagues and friends/ family.

Most impressed with idea of us making up our own room and receiving a discount off the food and beverage account. The service from all staff was extremely friendly. Keep up the good work. Would have no hesitation in recommending it to friends.

So claimed 4 star hotel — no microwave in room, no shower gel in room, charged for toothbrush and toothpaste!? Seriously? I have not seen a 4 star yet where we get charged for complimentary brush and paste. Haphazard parking — no space to park. Other couple with us got charged for baby cot which they neither requested nor used. Staff that checked us in didn't know how to smile and be courteous — was in a rush to answer the phone. Not happy really but given the price, it was a bit more palatable. Return? Maybe we will try Quest next time at $30 more.

My husband, daughter and I had a pleasant stay at Atura. We have stayed there before when it was managed by Rydges and were pleasantly surprised by the refurbishment. It now has a hip, modern feel and we all liked the changes in the room. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and the tarrif was quite reasonable compared to some of the places we have stayed at recently. Now for the not so good points. The check in was a bit slow as online I was promised an express checkin. (there wasn't an express check in line). I tried to get a coffee at 9.30pm on a Saturday night but was told the machine had been switched off. The parking lot was full (presumably with the overflow club patrons from over the road) and we had to park out on the road. It was great to have a coffee machine in the room but not enough milk. All in all a good experience but with a few minor hiccups.

Arrived after 9pm, check in was fine, got up to the room & the bathroom facilities were not satisfactory! The room is classed as an accessible bathroom, but the bathroom has nowhere enough room to get a wheelchair around. I don't believe that this room should be classed as accessible, the main room was fine with plenty of area, but the bathroom was just too tight. I challenge one of the staff to hire a wheelchair & to maneuver around this bathroom.

What a great stay! From the pre-arrival email and text about room status, to the welcoming and smooth check-in. The hotel was wonderfully clean, bright and welcoming. The room was faultless. A great size and awesome inclusions. The Marilyn package was provided without question and all information on town etc was welcome and up to date. No staff member could have done more for us and this was their normal behaviour. All very natural. Cant recommend this hotel enough! We will be back!

I wouldn't give it any stars, there was one face washer for two people, only 3 teabags, the spare blanket in the wardrobe was 'missing' — rather than anticipating guest needs you had to ask for things which I have found other hotels/motels normally provide. The 'accessible' room bathroom had a 2 cm 'lip' at the doorway which was certainly not user friendly for someone with a mobility aid. The lighting in that room was again inadequate for someone with poor vision and the seating was also inappropriate. There was a lot of noise from other guest room doors closing, voices and people movement both on the floor we were staying on and from the floor above.

Easily the best and most modern place to stay in Albury! Great bar, great restaurant, friendly staff. Rooms clean, large and modern. Price is very reasonable.

Clean comfortable accommodation. 24 hour reception a bonus when coming back late. Only negative is the car park which has poor surface and I don't think is just for hotel guests therefore can be hard to get in to.

We stay at Atura Albury a number of times a year as we have family in Albury. We find it very convenient, easy to get to, plenty of parking (car park surface could do with an upgrade) close to main shopping centre and restaurants. Nice spacious rooms, Friendly staff. We never consider staying anywhere else.

I stayed at and hosted a function at the Atura, the service was exceptional with friendly and flexible staff who helped with every aspect. The food for the function was exceptional with a wide variety of different things and none of the standard re-heat items, the tea provided was T2 teas rather than your typical Tetley/Lipton variety which was quite nice. Very nice mattress in the room. The only downside was the rooms to stay in were a bit older and quite a small bathroom with nowhere to hang towels to dry and no exhaust fan. Overall I would strongly recommend this to others for functions or to stay.

Don't bother staying here when in Albury. You will leave disappointed. It is the very poor cousin to the Blacktown Sydney Atura. Both fitout and service is of poor quality. To top it off, they wanted to charge 3.5% fee for using my credit card — 3.5% wowzer! I was told to take that up with head office — so head office, you are ripping off your guests charging 3.5% credit card fee. That left me with a sour taste in my mouth so I paid cash. My advice, and I say this with sadness as I love the Atura in Blacktown, when visiting Albury or Wodonga, you'd be wise to stay at the Quest instead.

Stayed at Atura Sunday night with my daughter. The new, fresh decor was a pleasure to the eye. I have stayed here many times before in the past when it was not Atura. Other times I liked the place but this time I was very impressed. Beautiful asthetics, wonderful service, great breakfast and the staff were very professional and friendly. We loved our room, it was very clean, interesting and quiet. Thank you Atura Albury I will certainly stay here again and again.

This hotel is a very old property. As soon as u go into lift. U would feel lift making lot of noise. The rooms are still key operated. And walls around windows very old style painted. The heating dosent work properly. The kettle is a decade old rusty plastic one. Wven steam iron is of 90's. Looks like a grab from old property. Mattress was old and was sinking in Heating shuts down and starts again later with a huge noise. Almost waking u off ur sleep. I have stayed in atura blacktown. This is just a cheap copy of the original concept. The staff is not aware of the drinks price at the bar. No scotch or spirits price list. U have to ask staff to look into system. Upon check out be carefull. Bill is overcharged. Staff at reception charged me for extra drinks. Even breakfast was charged which was included in my room rate. The breakfast is horrible. It will finish before it starts. The hash brown were stale. Orange juice was more water then juice. Baked beans looked more like tomato soup then brans. More liquid less beans. No salt pepper on table. No napkins on table. Bread was out of stock. Had to be asked for. Feels more like a takeaway place the a 4 star. They chef is moody and rather rude. No one was there to assist us. Being a priority guest and having stayed at 10 different rydges property. This is the most over rated property I have ever stayed. Be carefull.

Location is good. But the beds are shocking! They sag in the middle. We asked for a queen. It was two singles pulled together. The middle had this wooden piece there. Hard to sleep on. WIR? Nope.

I was very disappointing after ordering a fruit platter and champagne in the room for arrival as a surprise for my husband to be asked when we arrived if I still wanted it. Surprise ruined then when it did arrive my fruit platter was 2 apples, 1 pear 1 mandarin all whole in a bowl with a couple of strawberries and a kiwi fruit Vandyked in half. No knife to cut anything so we were to eat a whole apple while drinking our Champagne? then the room clock was the incorrect time so we over slept. On departure I mentioned the fruit platter (bowl) and was told I could have rung down for a knife. I questioned why one was not sent as a platter is generally cut up. For $12.00 ask before you buy. I know the rooms are undergoing renovations and they were clean and nice so this was OK. Bathrooms need the renovation.

An old hotel that has had a coat of paint, rooms are large, great if you are a family passing through looking for a nights accommodation.
