Was good for an overnight stay, mostly clean and you get what you pay for. Room was near the road so throughout the stay we could hear people yell and cars going past. The people in the rooms (or sitting out the front of their rooms) next to us at some points were talking/singing and we could easily hear them. However, staff were very friendly!

1 star for location. Firstly they claim to have 2 bunks in rooms then arrive to find they never have had and apparently ad is under interpretation. (my 2 very young children who were only going to sleep on the bottom bunks) so my husband had to sleep on the top bunk. And not to mention nunk we were expected to make the bed yourselves. Asked to use the bathroom in restaurant area door was locked was told no your wrong its opened. Instead of just giving us our milk we were given it and told this is all u get. Very rude abrupt service.

Centrally located close to Woolongong Central, Figtree rehab, Figtree Close, Figtree Hotel and Figgy bowlo. Good value for money. Friendly staff, clean.

Beautiful place to stay staff was awesome and friendly very clean and value for money would stay there again.

Rooms are comfortable you get a good night sleep. The natural landscape setting is fantastic and your hosts are great. Breakfast is a colinary event, fill yourself from the continental buffet or feast on large cooked meal, or both. Great stay.

I've stayed here a few times over the past few years and it's always clean with amenities that suit a good budget travel experience. I stayed again last weekend and needed special assistance from the staff and they went above and beyond. So grateful to them and very happy to recommend the Sovereign Inn at Figtree.

Our stay was a pleasant one, will be visiting this weekend again. If I can please make some suggestions on providing a few more essentials such as a toaster and utensils that would be wonderful… other than that… staff were friendly and we felt quite comfortable. I'm not a hotel person as I find most are overrated and provide similar amenities to motels while overpricing … all areas were clean and I love the coziness! Can't wait to visit this weekend … Thank you :) xox :)

Clean and tidy. Simple accommodation for a reasonable price.

Enjoyed our night here. Very clean and quiet and comfortable.

Staff were very accommodating and helpful. Has a beautiful 'mum and pop' feel about the place. Everything was clean and in order.

Terrible. I would stay in my car before staying there. Manager had no idea. Door blew shut as we where leaving locking our son in the room. My partner slipped over running to get a spare key to open the door. Manager did not care, no apologies, refused a refund and treated us like crimes trying to rip him off. Way to welcome visitors. I didn't stay one night even if I don't get a refund.

Small and old, but that is to be expected. Clean and cheap, good value for money. Bed was comfortable, got a good sleep, staff were friendly. Cannot tell you about the restaurant as did not eat there.

Bit of a mixed bag — very friendly reception and clean-ish room, but there were scraggly, black hairs in the shower and a condom lodged in the vent above the shower. Much cheaper than other hotels/motels in the area, but to be expected due to the age of the building, fixtures and linens. Had the room been clean would've been 3/4 stars.

Good rooms and amenities were pleasant.

Nice and quiet, run by a charming couple. Some cool lizards sunbaking around the place.

We stayed in the last family room available. While it was a bit squeezy it did have everything we needed for the night The staff were helpful and professional.

I found the room to be neat and clean with lots of the extra space you need for your bags. While t is an older building the new managers make it well worth your stay.
