Recently had a group Xmas party at the Pier. There were more than 40 of us and we easily fitted into the rear lounge where we were separate from other patrons. This meant we could celebrate without impacting on the space around the rest of the hotel. Food and service was good. All in all a perfect venue for our needs.

Great music ziggy again you never fail legend.

Great venue and the food is fantastic. All of the staff are really helpful and extremely friendly and polite. A great atmosphere and our kids often beg us to have dinner here.

Customer service and staff were very friendly & so accommodating. Hopefully when life is back to normal (Covid) We will back in Coffs and the Pier again.

Ordered a steak with chips and salad. Order took 40min, not busy. Salad consisted of lettuce and cucumber with a small shaving of carrot.
Steak was lovely.

Decent place to stay. Very close to the railway station (Walking distance). Rooms comfortable. Does get crowded on occasion, and not a huge selection of beers, but still quite good.

Yes, it was clean but that's about it. Was way too noisy not only from the pub but the other rooms, the light from the hallway shone into the room all night and it was no air con or ventilation except from an open window and no fridge. And finally it was way overpriced for what it was, should have paid the extra $40 and got a real hotel room. Very very disappointed.

Excellent parking, staff were brilliant and welcoming, food and drinks took no time and were to an excellent quality.

Good meal, cold beer uncrowded. Pleasant pub and good quick meals, although my meal could be better described as chips and fish, good chips but there was a lot of them with sleep ghtly overcooked fish.

Fairly decent pub in Coff's. Large amount of space throughout the bistro with some good value daily meal deals. Standard selection of Aussie beers on tap. Steaks cooked to the right degree (rare and medium rare), chips are nicely done and wedgers have the perfect amount of sour cream and sweet chilli sauce with them.

Bar service was great and dining area was clean and well spaced out. And they were kind enough to change the channel to ESPN for me to watch the NBA Play offs.

Very rude manager, terrible customer service. Rooms are very small and don’t have air conditioner. They don’t clean up the rooms everyday. Also it’s very noisy with the bar downstairs. We have a baby and we asked for a bigger room and we were happy to pay the difference and the manager was extremely rude and disrespectful. This is a feral pub with rooms upstairs. I would recommend a caravan park over this place.

Great location at Coffs Jetty featuring quality food. Tapas menu in front bar is very good and bistro menu is quality. Main bar is old fashioned punters bar which suits it clientele. Back bar features live music Friday's and Saturday's.

The rooms were good but there's a shared bathroom. It was fine and well maintained but probably not for everyone. For what you pay, it's great and the location we really handy.

We have had a few ok meals here. There is sometimes live music. The wine bar has been done out very nice and nice to catch up with friends in a room 'with a bit of class'. The front sports bar more for just a few drinks and some betting. The back bar good for relaxing catch up with friends.

Great pub in Coffs Harbour. Was there for a wake after a funeral, so it was a more sort of personal experience. The upper room is very very hot on a warm day. You can open windows to TRY and glean a bit of breeze… but it would be much better if air conditioned. Very friendly and helful staff.

Got dinner with family and friends at the pier, service was quite good and food was large serves and cooked great! Ate upstairs in the terrace, atmosphere was great :)

Food was great, plus a live band playing on a Saturday night fantastic.

Super relaxed atmosphere and The best steak if ever eaten. Accommodation rather basic but not bad by any means. Will stay again if I ever need to.

Not happy with the sauce on my steak sandwich! I'll be happy with a bit of beetroot and BBQ sauce!

I attended The Pier Hotel Saturday Night 25th Nov, and found the Bar Staff were rude and the customer service was poor! I stood at the bar SOBER, my 2 friends 1 of English and 1 of Serbian Heritage were served, and the female bartender who served them ignored my request and walked away! She started serving others around me, even though I was standing there waiting to be served, a customer even apologised to me for the way the bartender was treating me, and the bartender shrug her shoulders! The bartender waited until I was the last person at the bar — then she wanted to serve me. Sorry but you work in hospitality and if you have an issue with the colour of someones skin, you're in the wrong line of work! I won't EVER recommend this place for ANYTHING not even to use their toilets.

Great local pub that has been restored to its original look. Restraunt is always good and beer prices very competitive for the local area. This pub has recently restored its accommodation with very competitive rates. Over all this pub is a must to visit if you are a local or a visitor calling through.

Enjoy some great $10 lunch specials, great location, parking available.

I had a lovely night at the Pier, it's an iconic Coffs vintage pub with refurbished rooms & super nice staff. The food was great & fresh from the boat snapper!

Terrible beer. They insisted it was coopers pale ale — came out of the right tap, but definitely the wrong beer. Food was ok, but nowhere nice to sit. We probably won't be back.

I have used the Pier's Cellar Lounge for a number of business functions. Staff are professional to deal with. Nothing is too much trouble. We received excellent feedback from our clients.

We stayed overnight — the room was clean and comfortable — it had an ensuite with no door which is very open to the bedroom — great if you are young or on honeymoon, but we are older and like our privacy. A door would be good so that you have an option to open or close.
Lunch bistro food menu wasn't even considered. Dinner time was packed and offered a good tapas menu in the front dining area.
Staff all great and the afternoon function that we attended was well catered for.

The 'ROAST' pork was so not nice! 2 x 3/4" thick rounds of very, very dry pork loin on top of a few bits of carrot & sweet potato was the sum of this meal. The expected normal roast veg & greens were non existent as were the 'free' drinks that were supposed to accompany these meals. Would not recommend dining here based on our experience.

Very disappointed in your service today. My husband and daughter are coeliac's and require gluten free meals (this is not something they have chosen it is a diagnosed medical condition). As soon as we walked in to the bistro I asked someone in a white uniform in the kitchen if you could cater for gluten free. He said yes it's on the menu. Great we thought so we found a table and sat down. I grabbed the menu off the table and found the only menu items that were gluten free were two side salads. It's really annoying and rude to be told by your kitchen that they can cater for dietary need to only find out that you can't after we'd sat down.

It was quite lovely, busy and music was nice.

Dump of a pub, expensive and pretentious. Rude staff. Hope it goes broke.

Good cheap lunch meal for $10

I bought a $10 meal while my partner bought a $28 lamb meal. My meal was fine, although her expensive lamb was tough, lots of fat through it and the rice was mushy. She wanted to give it back. Told the waiter and the chief laughed about it. Definitely will not go back. No discount offered, just laughed.

Had a nice family dinner — Salmon was fantastic and kids menu was basic but tasty. Very well priced and a pleasant environment after what looks like recent renovations — Highly recommended — well done guys.

Nice rooms, but a bit noisy (it is the upper level of a pub after all)

The newly refurbished accommodation is just beautiful. It's modern, fresh but also has a real sense of charm and heritage to it. Love the exposed fire places, brick and wood work throughout. Worth a stop in, for accommodation and a great feed at Wave's Bistro.

$10 lunches are delicious and massive.

Great lunchtime specials. Excellent food.
