Lovely staff, spacious, clean room with the option of ensuite shower and loo. Fab pool and great facilities just a few minutes walk from the beach and just over the road from Spar.

I had a really comfortable sleep in one of the single rooms so I can’t complain about that. I found the vibe a bit sterile and over regulated though, especially for a Saturday night.

Good and affordable option for staying in Coffs Harbor. Good amenities, friendly fellow guests and staff, inclusion of a pool and free Wi-Fi was really great too. The kitchen was also super clean. Our Room was very hot due to the humidity. We had 5 people and only two working fans to share between us. Which made sleeping a little bit uncomfortable. A ceiling fan or better ventelation would have made our sleep a lot better.

By far the best hostel we have stayed in so far on our travels. Every single area is spotless, fantastic value for money at only $85 for 3 people in a private room. Staff were fantastic and offer a free shuttle bus to and from the town centre. TV room, lounge area with lots of board games to play, swimming pool and outdoor area and plenty of space to sit in the kitchen to eat. Never feels crowded. Perfect place if you like calm and chilled out hostels. We only stayed for one night passing through to Byron Bay but the lack of Wi-Fi would have been an issue for us if staying any longer. This and the fact that the location isn't great are the only faults I could mention. Close to the beach but that is all. Had to walk 15 mins to a petrol station as it was the closest shop. Again, this would be a problem if you were staying long term and needing to do food shops.

Hostel is good. They have a pool, a TV room amd a shuttle taking you to and from the busstop in town. However, there is no airconditioning… Only a pathetic little fan which barely does anything. This is the only downside I could think of. Well equipped kitchen and clean bathrooms.

Such a great hostel to stay in and right next to the beach. The staff are so friendly and helpful! It's also by far one of the cleanest hostels I've ever stayed in! Great vibe here, good facilities and a really well run place!

Been staying at the Coffs Harbour YHA as a long term fruit picker and it has felt like my home away from home. The staff are so friendly and super helpful. The facilities are all really clean. It's a short walk to the local beaches and the free surf board and body board hire is perfect for downtime.

SUPER NICE hostel, perfect location. 2 min to the beach! If you don't wanna go to the beach the hostel have a nice pool. The best staff, and everything is nice and clean! I've been here 1 month, don't want to leave!

The YHA in Coffs harbor is located near the jetty in Coffs and easily accessible to public transport to the shopping centres and other places.

The Wi-Fi limits are ridiculous as the bathrooms need some maintenance but otherwise not too bad. Mainly full of working people.

Good as the whole YHA chain. It has parking and Wi-Fi. Kitchen closes 10.9 to 9 reception.

One star for location, one star for the pool area. One minus for rude receptionist, one minus for dirty facilities (kitchen, bathrooms) and one minus for broken stoves.

Kitchen can get very crammed during peak hours. But everything else is great. Good location and very good value for money.

Ironic how such a beautiful hostel has such a horrible manager. I guess that's the result of "daddy is the hostel owner" nepotistic privilege making her feel infallible. Just because your dad owns the place and put you in charge doesn't give you the right to misuse your special power and treat guests however you choose. I do appreciate the refund provided by Brent though, thanks again.

Well maintained and run. Wifi is limited, kitchen is clean, stocked but closes at 10pm, pretty clean facilities overall. Lots of movies in the TV room. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Seems most guests are long term completing their farm work. Everyone was friendly though. Location is far from the greyhound stop but close to the harbor and beach. A little expensive as well compared to other hostels on the east coast.

Great hostel. 250mb free Wi-Fi a day, free surfboards and nice pool area. For 10$ they offer a little tour around the town including the visit of the local kangaroos, the big banana and an amazing lookout. We liked the movie night with free popcorn. Our double room was clean, spacious and we had our own TV. The kitchen is good as well as all the facilities. Last but not least the Greyhound bus stop shuttle was excellent.

The location of the backpacker resort is ideal since it is walking distance to the waterside and very near to muttonbird island. There are quite a few cafes and restaurants located near the resort. We booked a room to sleep 5 people and the room size was not very big. It had two double bunk beds. Linen, pillow case was supplied at the counter and you gotto make the bed yourself. On checkout you have to take the linen near the counter and deposit it there which is a bit of a pain. The toilets were pretty clean and the room overall was clean. There were quite a lot of facilities on offer at the resort like, TV room, table tennis table, magazines, board games and swimming pool, so pretty much a large age group from young kids to adults. The staff at the counter was very friendly and though didnt see anybody else other than a single staff member. The online booking was not very tedious and good to become a member to get additional discounts on your stay. There is secure parking behind the resort and which is always good and the gate closes at midnight. All in all stays for a couple of days is great at the YHA.

A wonderful home far from home. Stayed here for 2 months and it was the best time of my Australian experience. Met beautiful people and staff is really helpful and friendly. I'd recommend this hostel to everyone I know. Thank you Brett. And Cory is the best!

Pool water seemed a bit funky, not quite clean. Otherwise very good.

Free yha bus picked us up at greyhound and gave us a quick tour of coffs harbour. Very nice. Daytime only. Clean rooms, bathrooms. Kitchen cleanliness depends on the people but good. Bike rental available, Across from strip mall. 10 min walk to pier and beach. Car or bike would be preferred here. Or use transit.
