Great staff clean and beautiful rooms very comfortable.

Recently stayed, very friendly and hospitable staff, very convenient, so close to everything and most importantly extremely clean, thanks we will return.

Air con leaked, bathroom wasn't clean, no Wi-Fi and when I went to eat my dinner all I had was 4 knives and 3 teaspoons.

Great quality rooms that are clean and have everything you need. Close to Woolworths and conveniently close to the RSL (straight across the road). We stay annually and have not been disappointed each stay… the same high quality for an extremely reasonable price. See you next January. 5 Stars ***** Thanks Ali. :-)

Lovely place to stay! The bed was super comfy and got a great night's sleep, room was very clean and tidy. So close to the RSL and all the shops, absolutely perfect spot and didn't hear the traffic at all.
Will definitely be back to stay again.

Great night's sleep… I've stayed in a hotel further up the road and there was a surprising amount of traffic into the night but the Richmond being tucked away nicely was super quiet. Shops right on the doorstep, room a good size, and the reception was very helpful and friendly. I'd suggest booking direct with them… If you can call them direct they'd appreciate not having to pay all the big booking site commissions and the Richmond deserves all the business it can get.

Richmond Motor Inn is very clean and convenient to central Ballina. Walking around the town is very easy. Highly recommended.

Great place location excellent for eating places and shopping. Graham the manager very good.

Properties locations was excellent, great to stop late afternoon and walk across the street to the RSL for a lovely meal. Surrounded by shops and cafes. Room was impeccably clean and the beds comfortable. Was a good place to stay with kids.

Clean and quiet. The room we stayed in was not particularly large but adequate. Wi-Fi was free and not too bad. Central location just across from the RSL. Will stay again.

Enjoy the experience here for the price it is great value to only have a variance of $10 between a non weekend and a weekend price is remarkable. The spa room named the Richmond (Boo prefer Carlton) room was quite comfortable with the king bed only two minor things let the situation down 1. Due to having power points not in great positions had to sacrifice sleep due to not able to have my CPAP machine and having to go all the way to the TV or the other side of the bed to access a PowerPoint for charging mobile phones and other devices. 2. Other than those few things it was a great stay and nice and centrally located but I won't take a point off the actual location for the town itself being that there's nothing open after 10 p. M. (not even maccas) other than one service station heading towards the airport Other these two things I would highly recommend staying at this venue.

My husband and I called in with no booking. We asked if there was a downstairs room available. The Manager offered us the last downstairs room, a family room, which was marginally more that a double room. As my husband and I have, for some time, slept in separate beds, I wondered how the night would go in a queen size bed. To my delight, the night went well due to the excellent bed… no partner movement was felt.
The Manager also gave us some suggestions for eateries, even walking out to the street to do so.
Alter driving all day, it was nice to be able to walk a short distance to our evening meal. The Ballina RSL is directly opposite the motel.
I would recommend this motel for its friendly staff, clean rooms and central location.

Richmond room $162 Wi-Fi rubbish not allowed to turn spa on after 9:30pm so don’t bother going out for the night and coming back to your room for a spa bath I would not recommend it.

Fantastic location close to shops and restaurants, and great value for money. We'll definately stay here again.

Clean and comfy beds. Good.

Location, room and Wi-Fi are very good. Only minor complaint was that the room I stayed in had no flyscreens, which caused issues with mosquitos.
