Got one of the rooms with a spa bath, it was really nice. The room was clean. I enjoyed the included soap. The bed was comfortable. The staff are all very accommodating.

Comfortable spacious rooms, little expensive but there was plenty of shops nearby to restock.

Very clean and comfy, staff helpful and waited for me for almost 30minute from the closing time.

Well presented and comfortable rooms, good home cooked food for those too weary to travel out for dinner. Usual kettle, mugs, toaster etc in the room, good shower and tidy bathroom. Free Wi-Fi is probably one of the best I've experienced in motels. Only downside is a noisy drain cover on the drive outside that announces arrivals later in the evening. Great service from the owners, really helpful and happy. Will stay here again.

This place has got all the important things right. Friendly, helpful staff. Free Wi-Fi. Plenty of powerpoints. The beds we slept in are really comfortable (King Coil Executive Plush mattresses). Beautiful shower I didn't want to get out of. Room service available for breakfast and dinner. Microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery, tea and coffee fixings, iron, hair dryer, guest laundry. Mini bar at reception. Clean, air conditioned. Some rooms wheelchair accessible. There are two pet-friendly rooms by arrangement. The older style c. 1940 exterior adds charm. Excellent rates over the Christmas season and only half hour drive to Ballina.

Always clean rooms, rooms are spacious with kitchenette. Rooms are always well maintained. Meals are always good. Proprietors are extremely friendly and accommodating.

Nice comfortable rooms, not a modern decor but very comfortable with all the normal amenities. Walking distance to anything in town.

Was visiting a friend who is staying there as emergency accomodation and wen there realised the rooms very very spacey and clean and all utilities were in good working order and very clean… the price is very reasonable and id reccomend it to anyone who is looking for cheap but nice and looked after accomodation.

Couldn't recommend this place more. Our stay came not long after they were smashed by the floods, but you wouldn't have known they were in the middle of refurbishing, cleaning etc. As the owners were so friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to ensure we had a room with two beds despite booking late on Saturday afternoon for a Saturday/Sunday night stay. The room was beautiful, as was the complex itself. Even the room service dinner was really nice. Had all the little things downpat to ensure maximum comfort and enjoyment, despite the testing circumstances.

Great service! Helen has done well to treat us to a delightful stay. She has had an enormous amount of pressure put on her with the floods that have just passed but she has come out with a level head and provided us a great place to rest our heads! Top notch Helen! 10/10

Good clean room, room service, quiet.

This is simply a beautiful motel with very friendly and attentive staff. The rooms are modern, clean and spacious and best of all quiet. You would never know you were close to a main road or so close to the city. The gardens and extensive verandas are a wonderful feature which just adds to the overall charm of this truly unique motel. We will certainly stay again when next we visit Lismore. The room was very competitively priced.

I have stayed at a number of motels in Lismore during my travels and found the Wilson to be the best, only a short walk to the town center but far enough away to enjoy some quite time. The motel is very clean and comfortable, but the best feature was the verandah, sitting on this listing to the birds was a very nice way to end a hard day. The owners are lovely people and insured all my needs were covered from walking in the door to departure. I felt most welcome here and would highly recommend the Wilson to any weary traveler.
