Backpackers Hostel Hotel

Very good Hostel. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bad thing is that when you have a bar you can not enter drinks and at night the kitchen stays closed (they sell food). They didn't give us any white clothes the first night.

Very good service from the staff! Very comfortable room. You can eat a quiet dish in the hostel for a very affordable price.

The receptionist robbed us! The prices are far too high! You have to do is read oneself! And finally the bathroom is dirty! to flee.

Nice hostel, cheap and clean rooms. Good dinner and simple breakfast.

To spend a night at Pura Zamba and Chacareras. Very but very good traditional place.

Good place, good price, just that eye that check out is 10am did not let me know and end up paying half a day more for an hour. The maid enters the room without warning and when one is inside…

Very bad! They cut off your water in the afternoon and at night. I couldn't bathe or wash my teeth or my hands. I went to the bathroom to shit and you can not throw the chain. In addition there are no rules of coexistence. I don't recommend it.

I put a star because it doesn't give me the option to put 0. We stayed two nights, one of them New Year's, a real shit.
The first view was positive, a nice place and ample… peeeero… — had no water in all the days we stayed, only returned 15 min without pressure (we could not bathe). If they reached to flood the piece by losses they had.
So dirty bathrooms, dirty kitchen. We had to go out to buy water to wash our teeth and acearnos, as they did not have a dispenser.
-they don't give sheets if you don't ask for them-lousy breakfast, a hard bread and little sweet.
They didn't provide any solution. The attendant never showed up.
They were the only bad thing that had my trip.

Don't go to this hostel! Usually, I don't leave comments because sometimes you don't like a place because you are in a bad mood or something… But I do an exception for this one… I even waited 10days before I wrote my comment, to cool down and get some perspective. I spend 3 nights there and stayed because I payed and couldn't get my money back. I don't know where the manager of this place lives, I suppose in some hole, or, the opposite: he lives in a palace because he is stealing all the money away from the tourists paying for the services they never get in this place. The flyer from this place is a joke or worst, a lie. Most of he services he is describing don't exist: sheets, towels, hot showers or even just showers (many times a day, you can't have water), quiet place to rest during the night (the staff listens to loud music during the night, disregarding the rule of no noise after midnight), lockers is the room (3 for 5 persons), dorms of 10 people (actually we were 12, 2 were sleeping in the hallway of our floor, without privacy or lockers), breakfast (ok, you get one: a drop of dulce de leche and butter and a little old dry bread) … Plus, they was mole in my dorm, the staff lied to my face saying the bed scheets would arrive in 5'… At half past 10 at night, after asking in the morning and 2 times during the evening I admit that there probably weren't enough sheets for everyone in that "hostel".

If you're a backpacker traveler this an excellent place to stay, the rooms are nice and comfortable, there are Wi-Fi, TV cable and bathrooms. Furthermore there are travelers from different countries where you can exchange experiences.

The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Not the worst of the worst but not great. Would not stay here again. Very dirty, I saw little roaches in the kitchen. Staff isn't overly friendly — except the one guy at check in was very nice. Rooms, besides doors falling apart are fine however — could find better for the same price.

Back Paker's is a familiar place, accessible and the people who attend it are friendly and attentive. The rooms are spacious and very well presented.

Good cheap hostel, staff are nice. Breakfast is included but its only a little bit of bread. The beds are thin, so the top bunks are not so good.

Cheap Hotel, clean OK, basic breakfast, Wi-Fi OK but we went twice in 3 days and both times there was either no water or no hot water for the 11 people from the whole dorm. There is also a toilet and a shower for 11. Very small dormitory with very little room to tidy up the business.

When I tried booking a hostel in Salta during the peak of tourist season this was the only available hostel I could find, the price was low and I was just happy to have a bed for the night. But what I thought would be a bed to rest on turned out to be a death trap. First thing worth noting is that my bed did not have bed sheets on it, and when I asked the front desk they were out of pillowcases, I’m not sure how a place that provides beds to sleep in as a service could not have enough bed sheets and pillowcases but the mystery exists for you the reader to appreciate. When I showered half the bathroom floor got covered in water. During my attempt at showering the water would fluctuate between hot and cold and sometimes completely stop altogether, during my time in the shower and bathroom I also saw a cockroach, this cockroach is merely the crown jewel in the myriad of insect life that I got to experience in my one night at this hostel. After the shower I had to do something about the pool of water on the ground, so I used the squeegee to get as much of the moisture down the drain as I possibly could, it’s good that they give the patrons the tools to clean the bathroom, since clearly they aren’t. The most disgusting part of my stay was in the morning, when I saw a mushroom growing out from underneath the sink. The suite was so moldy that I woke up congested and with irritated lungs, so bad that I booked another hotel that was significantly out of my price range.

So many cockroach in the dining area and the kitchen, English was bad for some staffs that made them misunderstood what I told them.

Great backpacker hostel! Only a couple of things: no soap anywhere, you have to bring your own. Wifi doesn't work everywhere and is quite slow. It would be great if there were mosquito nets.
