I loved the place! The attention of those who worked there was very good, I facilitated the transport, the excursions, always predisposed to collaborate. The kitchen is well equipped, the breakfast has everything you need, very complete. The room was excellent. At night it's very quiet, zero noises. Keep your luggage if necessary and a plus: forget a garment and at the time of cleaning I returned immediately. The location is good and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Recommended 100%

Correct establishment but poor value for money.
Plus: — Spacious and clean room and bathroom, — nice room, — the boy from the evening reception was complimentary and anglophone, — possibility to book excursions, — very decent breakfast — good Wi-Fi even in the Pourtan pa room T located upstairs, — large equipped kitchen and dining area.
The least: — High price, but the area is too touristy! — No CB payment: Given the amount to be paid in cash, it can quickly become problematic, especially when you know that a withdrawal at DAB costs between 7 and €9 of expenses in Argentina!
— Lack of general soundproofing, squeaking and shaking floors — noisy street at night — no daily cleaning in the room.

It's hygienic. There is flexibility on the part of those who serve. They are respectful and predisposed to help. The rooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are spacious and spacious. Excellent breakfast, very complete.

Simple place but that had the necessary for the experience I was looking for… special for travellers looking for an economic place and well located to go out to live their adventures, the receptionist very friendly and willing to help in any consultation. Recommended!

Bla is one of the best, if not the best hostel in El Calafate. Great location (close to bus station, central street, restaurants), wonderful kitchen, super clean, very good bathrooms, comfortable beds and warm. Super attentive staff. Internet good. A fortissimo point of the hostel is the organization of tours. Everything you need will be there: transfers, tickets, food to go and with the same agency prices. Highly recommend. Ps. : do not accept credit card.

From the reception, to the cleanliness through the services and help of the team, not forgetting the atmosphere and the location… everything was perfect! We have 3 great nights in spacious rooms!

Excepcional staff, great breakfast and atmosphere. Good rooms and nice kitchen. Only little downside, hot water was a little hard to control but on the other hand, the hostel was warm.

Bla is not interested in following Argentinan rules for foreign tourists: to be precise they did not want to distract the 21% VAT tax from the bill despite the fact that we hold a foreign passport. No reason was given.

I only spent 2 nights there, but I arrived at 1amnand the staff was very nice to me. The bedrooms are great and there is hot water all thz time (which is not the case in every hostels ;) ). I booked a Mini-trekking tour withz the hostel and it was amazing! You can book different tours with them. The breakfast is good and the hours are according to the tours departure. The location is great too less than 5mn from’the city center and the restaurants and supermarket. Only 30mn from the airport (they can call you a shuttle). The atmosphere of the hostel is so cool! Good musics, funny ans happy staff! Love my stay there! Thank you blah Hostel :)

Close to city and Lagoon. Good breakfast and staff. The kitchen equipment is too back dated. It makes self cooking diffcult! My room 7 experienced invisible people walking inside the room at night time. That is because the staircase is just next to my room.

Clean place, good breakfast, usable kitchen, clean rooms and bathroom. Good heat. A few blocks from the city center. A little noise in the rooms below because the ceiling is wooden (you hear people walking) and the hot water for a while was going away.

My experience was good. It was the first time I was in a hostel and I can't complain. I chose this place by the opinions of other travelers, some wise, with others do not agree. But in general, it was fine. I would not go back, because I like to meet new places and because I want to look for something even better, but I do.

Really nice stay and plenty of areas to relax. The private rooms have that hotel feel so it is a really nice breath of fresh air and definitely fantastic for the money you're paying. There are a few minor issues with the Hostal however, the Internet is REALLY bad during the evening when people are around and it does not work in the private rooms which is a damn shame. We ended up not being able to book a third night in the same room so they wanted us to pay more for a worse room (as we got a good deal with Hostal World). It was quite frustrating as it was still easier to use Hostal World which is mad because they lost money by me doing that. The bathroom doors wouldn't shut properly and the window also wouldn't shut in the matrimonial suite but that was a small problem that didn't bother us too much. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, lots of choice and the cakes were amazing! Staff were also so friendly and accommodating. I would DEFINITELY recommend Bla to people.

Bla is a really good hostel, one of the best in El Calafate. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is good, about 10 mins walk from the bus station and 5 mins from the main street. It's a very clean place with good bathrooms and a large lounge/breakfast area. The dormitory rooms are big, but they are 6 — 8 persons so expect some noise. The walls are quite thin too which adds to this, but for me it wasn't a problem. Just saying. Breakfast was above average, with the usual bread, jam and cereal plus some fresh fruit. Decent kitchen for cooking your own food. The bars and restaurants on the main street are all 5 mins away. The 'Libro Bar' was nice and a bit different. Most of the restos are moderate to expensive, but the best food I had was in a resto right next to the Bla, 'Buenos Cruces'. Not exactly cheap, but no more expensive than anywhere else in Calafate. The food is very special here. They do a lot of pasta dishes, but the beef steaks and pork are superb as well. Thoroughly recommend it. It's a shame the only thing worth seeing in El Calafate is basically just the Perito Moreno glacier, because Bla is a place I'd be happy to stay in for longer than a couple of nights. I rate Bla 9/10.

Perfect guest house in a very quiet street a few steps from the main road. The vibe is excellent starting from the helpful staff, to the friendly dog and the constant music playing in the living area. Dorms are very clean, mattresses are super comfortable and kitchen is very well equipped. Great experience.

There's a lot to like about this hostel — amazing staff, great common areas including the kitchen, good breakfast and the rooms are of a good size and very clean. We found the downstairs rooms a bit noisy as you can hear people walking upstairs, but the upstairs rooms were fine. Also the Wi-Fi was really bad and often didn't work at all.

Centric, friendly, vibrant, cheap, comfy. I was only making a quick day stop in Calafate and the girls at the front desk were 100% helpful from the moment I stepped in, even though I wasn't going to be a guest until 4 days from the date.   Chill/seating area as well as kitchen are quite large so it never felt you were squeezing your way through to get comfortable or get your things done. Breakfast (6.30-9.30) was brilliant nd included! Lots of choice from several types of toasts, lots of dulce de leche, butter and jam, 3-4 types of fruit, cold and warm milk, chocolate/coffee/tea, and at least 3 types of pastries. Cereals were also available. Enjoy, take as much as you want, and at the end, the two lovely ladies around will insist on washing your dishes! Rooms were spacious enough for guests and bags with small lockers for all (provided you hsve a padlock). There were toilets ns showers outiside and inside rooms, so showering wasn't a case of queueing forever. Definitely reccommended. Also, book through their own page to get the best price! The only downdide was that Wi-Fi was fairly unstable and kept dropping.

Very good hostel, warm atmosphere. The rooms are well, very well equipped kitchen.

We booked the cheapest room (50 usd) which had 2 really uncomfortable bunk beds and one tiny window opening on the corridor. There was a shower above our head, which means you would hear the loud drain everytime someone in the guesthouse was showering. Same about people walking on the second floor, you can hear every step. Clearly overrated and overpriced — even for El Calafate.
