Molla Guest House

We had an absolutely lovely stay! The rooms were well decorated and very clean. The food was wonderful. And the views are stunning! There are lots of thoughtful seating arrangements outside to enjoy after a days hike. And you can walk to the Valbonë trail directly from the guesthouse. Highly recommend!

We ended up there while searching for a guest house when we were hiking the peaks of the balkans trail. Although it is a bit off the trail, it is worth the detour! The guesthouse is very beautiful, with a nice field where we could put our tent. We were very well received by the host.
We had dinner there, and the food was delicious! You can choose from a local menu, and we opted for the apperitivo board, which was freshly made with delicious local food.
The guesthouse is also accessible by car and we saw some vans there too. It looked like a very nice place for family holidays as well!

I had a truly exceptional stay at Molla Guesthouse in Albania. The location offers a breathtaking view that sets the tone for a peaceful and memorable experience. The host family was incredibly warm, attentive, and highly professional throughout our visit.
The rooms were spacious and comfortable, featuring modern, impeccably clean bathrooms. It’s safe to say this is likely the best guesthouse in the area.
Both breakfast and dinner exceeded expectations — the quality, flavor, and presentation were outstanding. Dining there felt like a luxury experience; I genuinely felt like royalty.

What a Place to be and enjoy some vacation. Really cool and friendly staff. Amazing food, and very nice rooms.
Simple yet modern. When outside it feels like your home garden. They have two cats, a dog and a cow frequently on the premises. And a great view over the mountains.
There is a sweet path to the city centre and a lot of nature paths for hiking.
Definitely recommend. Also the food, we fell in love with the creamy baked potato’s and the breakfast served daily was delicious. Fruits of the season and always a something for the sweet tooth :)

A very authentic traditional peaceful stay. Highly recommended. Cozy cabin with one of the most beautiful Alps view. The staffs are very friendly and the food is everything homemade and fresh. A place where I will surely come back again someday. One of my best stay in Albania.

We absolutely loved our stay at Molla Guest House. The house is beautiful and is probably located on the most beautiful spot in Theth. The level of service was amazing and all the home cooked food was delicious. Really cannot recommend this place enough for anyone who wants to travel to Theth.

A beautiful spot in the hillside, great views. Rustic but comfortable rooms with en suite and good electric power points. Delicious homemade and home cooked food. Very friendly and welcoming. Everything we wanted for a few days in the hills.

We were 2 days ago at Molla Guesthouse and stayed 2 nights. We are very very satisfied. We felt like we were at home because of the warm welcome given to us by the young man at the reception as well as the owner of the house. The rooms were very clean and the food very delicious. Our children had endless fun playing in the fields around the house. Even at dinner we light a fire to roast marshmallows. The location was 5 minutes from the center. We recommend it to everyone. We will choose it again to spend our holidays in Theth.

What an amazing experience we had at MGH. A huge thankyou to all staff involved, especially Ergus who made our stay easy, relaxing, fun and educational. I can’t recommend this place enough. Food was exceptional, especially the pork casserole which is worth the 4 hour cooking time! A 25 minute walk to town and easy access to all main hiking trails in Theth. So sad to leave. If you’re visiting Theth, please visit this beautiful place.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. The host was amazing and very friendly and helpful. Food was pretty pricey compared to the rest of Albania, but the food was really delicious and the portions huge. Well worth the price.

The best host I've encountered. I visited on June 29, 2024. The young male host, whose name I believe is Eandre or something similar, is a pure soul and very helpful. The view from the hotel is stunning. Both breakfast and dinner were brilliant with no complaints. The only issue was the lack of AC or a fan, which made it hard to sleep, especially in the summer.

Wonderful place to stay. Everyone working there is so friendly, attentive, and helpful. The guesthouse is located a 10 minutes (or less) drive from the center of Theth where there are so many trails and hikes to choose from. The food is delicious. All local and fresh. I would recommend to anyone visiting!

This was a lovely hotel. It was a very quick stay for us (we hiked the pass) but I would happily return for a more leisurely visit.
The hotel offers car service from the airport and it was incredibly smooth! Rafael bought us ice cream and told us about Northern Albania on our drive in.
Irgys was the sweetest!

Amazing place! If you are planning to visit Theth then choosing Molla guest house is the best option! Our room had a beautiful mountain view, it was really clean and the bathroom was really stylish! The thing that we will definitely remember was the hospitality and kindness of the staff! The food was superb!
